We have been to this location quite a bit but finally getting around to reviewing. What drew me in this time was the pickle pizza. And I had to add bacon of course. The cheese pizza was actually my favorite of the two but they were both delicious! We have eaten at this place a few times- mostly because the kids want pizza. On top of it being mediocre at best and expensive, today was a new level of rude. I asked after standing there for a while if they were serving single slice since it appeared their single slice machine had returned. At Center Street Market, they have a text system to alert you when food is ready so you do not have to wait inside, you know, COVID. The flavor & the crust was excellent. Definitely worth a visit for that. On the other hand, they DO sell bowls of pasta, too, which are a bit expensive. We had 2) different bowls of pasta and/or meatballs that were roughly 8 & 10oz.'s & it was $25. Really. The pizza was less than that, & way better tasting. More to eat, too. If you visit them sometime, try the pizza. You won't be disappointed. As for the other items on the small menu, you may want to skip them as the prices are pretty steep for what you get. I've tried the war time conglirere. For the price, I severely overestimated the size. The sauce was pretty bland, almost like Ragu. Pepperoni came in one spot. And the cheese was rather lackluster. DELICIOUS! My family and I picked up a half cheese/half pepperoni pan pizza, their recommended Butcher Pizza, and a Large Meatball Bowl. Their pizzas are Pan Style and was a huge hit for my son. Mind you he is a picky eater now says this is his "Number 1" favorite pizza. This alone would bring me back. The butcher pizza had great flavors, great sauce, and the dough was the perfect thickness to hold all the goodies. It was also not super salty that most all meat pizzas can tend to get. My only regret was not ordering more meatballs for the husband. He housed the 5 I ordered. I tried The Meatball Mafia for the first time a couple of days ago. The Butcher is a pan style pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, sauce and cheese. It was very good and reminded me of the pan pizza crust that Pizza Hut had back in the 80's when it was good. The ingredients were fresh and had great flavor. I will definitely order again. The Meatball Mafia was a bit hard to find since I haven't been through Old Hilliard in more than 15 years. The pickup counter is located inside of a food court area inside a brewery and there was no outside signage at all. The street alongside the brewery and restaurant is closed during the spring/summer/fall, so my GPS directions were not completely helpful. Also, The Meatball Mofia does not have a phone number where you can talk to a live person. I was a little turned off because as a first time customer I had questions and it was not convenient or efficient texting my order and asking questions while trying to accomplish other tasks. read more

Sloppy Guiseppe because the gentleman behind the counter suggested if I had the time to wait, that was his top pick. I had time to wait the then-current 1 hour pizza wait time. And I'm sure darn glad I followed his advice! It's a great pizza, covered with the crushed meatballs, sauce, cheese blend and drizzled with (my personal fav) ricotta, mmmm. I'm not versed on the different styles of pizza, so I can only describe: Great thick crust - not Pizza Hut thick, but a thicker than, say, Dominos pizza. Great ratio af toppings to dough. The crushed meatballs were very good - not overly seasoned, just meaty-goodness. MM's pizzas are all one size (12"), which makes for plenty of leftovers (or not, if you decide to share; heck, if you're really hangry, go for it solo-style). Important to know, Meatball Mafia does not have a phone, so if you want to order for pick-up, you need to send it via their text number. It's nice Meatball Mafia now has a brick and mortar spot, makes it easier than tracking down their food truck sometimes. Right now, this location is only open till 8 pm on the weekends (Th-Sat), and 7 pm during the week (Sun-Wed), so plan accordingly. Wait times for their pizzas tend to be longer of the weekends, obviously. If you stop by to order, and you see their menu sign turned around and not showing their offerings, that means they're done taking orders for the nite; take that into account if it's getting later in the evening. read more
