Amazing beef tallow fries
Lora B.

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. So simple with such a classic taste. It felt clean and tasted like it was made with love. From the perfectly toasted buns to the crispy edges and grilled onions, it was soooo good. I came on a Saturday & they have parking lot across the way. The place is really cool, it has pool tables and large TVs. The team and chef were so kind. Can't wait to come back.

WOW WOW WOW!!! If you look at my Yelp reviews, I rarely give 5 stars. Especially to burger places because they never blow me away. This place blew me away. I saw it on Instagram as a new pop up smash burger place in Culver City and knew I had to try it when I saw they use Japanese milk buns! So I got a double cheeseburger with tallow fries and both were soooo good! The meat is thick and juicy and their "meet up sauce" has a bit of a kick to it and gave the burger so much flavor! They cook the onion in with the burger so the grilled onions and pickles also added great flavor. I can literally eat this burger everyday if I could. They're open on the weekends from 6-10pm but check their Instagram for dates and hours! This was their grand opening weekend, so I suggest you try it before it gets crazy crowded. Because there's ZERO smash burger places anywhere near the area that are this good. The inside had plenty of tables and chairs and outdoor seating too! The tables had a few board games as well and even a really nice rooftop area. Clean bathrooms as well! The staff was all so welcoming and great! Truly makes a business worth supporting when you see all the passion the staff has for their food! Easy free parking in the parking lot across the street.

Really good burger all fresh quality ingredients. Great customer service and the cooks are doing right for you. Great place to bring your family and friends to have a good time. Really good mineral waters from Japan and Japan burger buns will definitely come back and I do recommend this to anybody that wants a great burger.

Burger with the works and fries

Very good looking and tasty burger. The bun has a pleasant crunch while being soft and toasty. Meat and cheese make a wonderful blend with the jalapeño adding a slight kick without it being overpowering. Fries are excellent and worth the $5. The owners are personable and remembered me when I showed up after talking to them the week before. Lovely atmosphere on a Sunday watching NFL. Has a free pool table so it's ideal to hold gatherings with a large group, or your close friends. The burger is great. You can find good burgers all over LA, but the space and service is most inviting and that's what would encourage me to return.

Smash burger

MMMMM!! Bomb burgers, great customer service, and a very nice & social atmosphere. They have large tables, a pool table, a sofa area, and cook their burgers outside. Parking is spacious as well. Stopped by with my mom, pero I guarantee I'll be back :p

You can really taste the difference with the fries being made with beef tallow instead of oil. The service was great and the place is very spacious and clean. Definitely one of my new favorite burger places in LA!

Delicious smash burger and super nice folks running this place. I have been twice in as many weeks and will keep coming back as long as they are there. The spot is cool too. Very unassuming you could easily miss it, but don't. Trust me.

These smash burgers are DELICIOUS! I got the double cheeseburger. The patty is perfectly cooked and sooo juicy. You can taste the quality! The sauce is amazing too! It's a perfect dip for the crispy beef tallow fries. I'm so glad I finally got to try this place, and will definitely be back!

Best burger and fries!

We had our dog with us so the dog-friendly patio was what drew us to selecting Goodpeople. We found street parking after circling the neighborhood a couple of times. The drink menu immediately cracked me up because the "vanilla bullsh%&#" drink is a respectful nod to one of my favorite scenes from Curb Your Enthusiasm. We split the Los Cali Brekkie burrito which features sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, French fries and a house made Sriracha aioli but we substituted the cilantro aioli. The filling of the burriot was super soft and mush but it worked. There was a guy out back frying up fresh donuts. There was a pet adoption event going on and although it was a hot day the shade sails and fans really kept the patio tolerable and pleasant.

MULBERRY - LOTS OF HYPE, LACKING REAL KOREAN FLAVOR AND -  EXPENSIVE…read more I make my own reservations and pay my own bills when I dine out.  PROS: The patio is the place to dine, Service was excellent, two dishes were worth the visit CONS: The food lacks authentic Korean flavor, it's expensive, and there's no regular bar--only fancy organic alcohol with unfamiliar names. PROTIP: Study the menu beforehand, eat on the Patio, order the Wngs and Short Rib and Try Son Nong Dan across the street. SUMMARY: Go to Koreatown and get better food for less I finally visited the much hyped Mulberry the other night, expecting a fantastic experience based on all the hype and social media. What I got was an overpriced meal on Sawtelle that watered down what should have been a showcase for excellent Korean food.  Mulberry is cramped and dark on the inside and excellent on the patio. There are some interesting tables inside near the back, but the Patio is where the action is, especially when the sun is out.It has shades of Hatchet Hall's ambiance and a great vibe. Service comes fast and is very good. They do know what they are doing from a service perspective. Drink orders arrive quickly, and food is served fairly fast. We knew what we wanted before going. Korean Pancake, Wings, Dumplings, Acorn Noodles and Short Ribs.  Korean Pancake - small and just ok flavor. The sauce was good, but for $17, you could get a giant, better tasting pancake almost anywhere else. Fried Chicken Wings - probably one of the two stars of the night--had a fantastic crust and were very plump and juicy. Sauce and pickles were excellent and you get two types of wings with each order, both were excellent.  Acorn Noodles - a very good mix of flavors, good nori, the hard-boiled egg (a surprise) was good--expensive for $22Steamed Dumplings - well made and cooked well, but the lackluster sauce served with them didn't help. A well-crafted dumpling that needs a much more flavorful sauce to accompany it.  Beef Short Ribs - The other star on the menu, along with the wings. Very tender and great taste. Use the salt! We ordered the extras which you don't have to do. Small piece for $49. It's a No Tip restaurant so you get the automatic 20% charge - which I did not mind. Pay the help. Our bill came to $200 for a meal that was probably worth $100.You can go to some of the AYCE Korean BBQ places and get better quality, more food and be happier. The hype for this place will die down. If you like Sawtelle go to Son Nong Dan across the street for an overall better experience and better pricing.

Oreo Coonue Crunch - this dessert disappeared in seconds :) The Hendrick's Magnificent Martini may have just become my new favorite cocktail: Hendrick's gin, St-Germain, sauvignon blanc, and lemon.
