Overall, the place has pretty good food! The patty melt was good, the fries were good. The snickerdoodle milkshake is A MUST. It's so good, and by far, this is the only place that has this flavor. I placed an order for pickup on Postmates. The order was on time and still hot when I got it. When I went to pick it up, I believe the manager was at the counter and she was kind of rude, didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I get that people have off days but I work in customer service and don't let that impact my interactions with clients. The burger itself was okay, pretty soggy and difficult to eat. Being an EMT is not the easiest job. As soon as I heard my coworkers were getting free meals from a little grilled cheese place, I jumped for the chance to snag one. I learned that it wasn't just a grilled cheese place, but had a huge menu. Although you only get certain free meals off a special list for first responders and healthcare workers, every option was more than satisfactory. I've eaten a meltburger and fries. I ordered a shake and asked for it to be thick, that's how I like them, and they listen and it came out perfectly. I appreciate the time that the melt spends trying to make meals right. The bread? Stale, hard as a rock and unpleasant to taste, tastes like the pan used hadn't been cleaned properly. The cheese? Hardly melted at all. The Macaroni? Completely plain with zero cheese sauce what so ever, far from the "creamy" description given on the menu. Also, no onions on the sandwich as advertised.. oops? Not for vegetarians. I used to order from the melt all the time but after finding pieces of bacon in my melty mac I will not be returning. Their food is ridiculously good. My husband usually gets a double melt burger with everything on it. It is super juicy. I usually get th impossible burger with the house aioli to share with our son. Yuuummy!!Something that I recently started getting is their Cobb salad. Perfect for a late night meal when all the deliciousness that is their burger is unneeded. Lastly, they are starting to stay open on certain nights till 12 AM. Only a few places are like that in the UTC area. read more

For my first visit I thought it was weird that they did not have mac and cheese and it was only 1pm. They were out of the sauce, I was hoping to try the mac and cheese. Anyways, I went with the Swiss Mushroom Burger and it was pretty good. I can taste the fresh ingredients, I was surprised there was spinach leaves in the mushroom burger but I am happy to say that is a nice change as most mushroom burgers I have eaten don't come with any real veggies other than the mushrooms. Overall, pretty good I think the burger looked small but I was pretty full after eating just one burger. They kind of remind of In and Out but again I feel they are pricey. I guess they are going with quality I didnt buy fries or any other sides so I can't give my option on that. I thought over all everything else price was expensive for sides alone. I am not sure i would pay 3.99 for fries. I ended up going home to throw in some fries in my deep fryer it a meal for myself. read more
