It's all good! The bacon cheese fries were so perfect! The interesting burgers with their sauce and hallapeno was surprisingly tasty given I'm not a spice gal. But just enough to give flavor without too much bite for Me. Order at the counter or kiosk. Great burger, fries and good milkshake

On my hunt to find the best grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, we decided to give The Melt a try. Looking at the photos and reviews, I knew we were in for a treat! Unrelated to the restaurant, but parking at this center is a nightmare. Perhaps it was super busy as it was a Sunday afternoon, but we struggled to find parking. Never any fun in the AZ summer heat. Luckily, the restaurant had a really good AC system, so we were comfortable again within a few minutes. There are ordering machines at the front where you can order and customize each item as much as you'd like. Upon checking out, there are numbered buzzers you plug in to tie with your order and they'll go off when your order is ready. Service was quick, our order was ready in less than 10 minutes from ordering. We both opted to get grilled cheese sandwiches and split the tomato soup and fries. The sandwich was soooo cheesy and buttery, I was in heaven! The soup was also very creamy and paired well with the grilled cheese (duh!). There weren't any frills with the grilled cheese, but sometimes simplicity is better than too many frills! The fries were nice and crispy, plus well seasoned. Right before finishing our meal, the employees brought us over free oven warm chocolate chip cookies over for dessert- so good!! Overall, we had a great experience here for lunch, we will definitely be back!

Came by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. This place was rather busy with a few open tables left. Went overboard with building my burger on the order kiosk. Paid and grabbed a number. Orders came out in decent time and looked good. Couldn't grab pictures quick enough before everyone dug in. Overall, a good choice if you want a quick and tasty burger. Fries were not too bad either. Staff were extremely friendly and were quick to grab condiments that we forgot. Enjoyed our meal here.

I'd heard about this place when I was at Salt & Straw in Tempe a few months ago. They have a location near there and closer to me in the formerly PV mall area. I was in the mood for cheesy goodness so I checked out their menu. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get free fries. So I signed up! I also got their side of mac & cheese since I wasn't in the mood for a full portion. I ordered online and drove over. I found parking in front of the restaurant and headed inside. Only a few people dining inside with plenty of seating. I picked up my order from the register and headed home. I ordered their garlic Parmesan fries and they were tasty. Topped with their Melt sauce, Parmesan cheese and garlic, it was flavorful but almost too much. Very salty which I usually appreciate but I ended up mixing in the leftover topping to my pasta. The mac & cheese was cheesy and good, it hit the spot. Their menu offers burgers, sandwiches, and other items that look interesting. I'd be down to try this spot again.

Came in for a quick bite.. I got the patty melt - which honestly would have been great if it was cooked. I eat beef carpaccio but I can't do raw hamburger meat. The place was slammed with door dash orders of course so quality was a tad out the door. The owner seemed to be here - but not a hands on moment.. The fries were delicious - the Mac and cheese were okay and the chicken sandwich was fine too. I definitely come back and get the patty melt and hope it's cooked correctly.

When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly lady who later told me she was the manager. She gave us a few suggestions of what to order the menu. Because it was our first time she even gave us two drinks on the house. I rarely drink anything but water, but they had Alameda cane sugar soda and I had a cola. I got a patty melt and my husband got the bbq bacon burger. They were both good, but the patty melt was better with the grilled onions and the toast. The bbq bacon burger was good as well. The fries were tasty as well. Overall I will be back and maybe try a cheesesteak or the Mac and cheese next time. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order either at the counter or from the self-service kiosks.

The Melt is a perfect neighborhood place. The burgers are incredible and definitely messy in the best way possible. Chicken sandwich was a little dry but not as good as the burgers. I had the spicy double and lived it with the fresh jalapeños. The fries were not as crispy and topped with some green herbs. Not sure I enjoyed it with the herbs. The sodas were perfect craft sodas and not your typical Coke or Pepsi. I would've given the place a 5 stars but I saw an employee take the quarter sheet pans in which the burgers were placed from the garbage drop off area and just wiped the surface and put back into inventory for new customers. The sheet pans weren't even put through the dishwasher for cleaning and sanitizing. I'm not so sure this is regular practice but someone needs to evaluate the cleaning process before a diner gets sick.

So you want something with cheese, we'll, so do we, and we found just the place! The cheese steak sandwich was awesome, I definitely be getting that again. The three cheese grilled cheese sandwich was the bomb too! Garli/parm fries were very flavorful! The root beer was really good. It was our first time there, and we're glad we went. The service was great, the cashier was patient and very helpful. The noise level inside was a bit loud, hence the 4 stars. They do have outside seats, but it was just too hot. Anyway, we will be back!

Our family visited the Tatum Blvd store on 12/24 for lunch. This is a walk up order at the counter place with buzzing coasters when your older is ready to pick up. Orders were accurately recorded by the cashier, who was very patient with the five of us and several special requests. But kitchen accuracy missed the mark, and two of our five burgers were missing ingredients. We did not ask for the missing ingredients, just ate our burgers anyway. We ordered one double melt, one double BBQ melt, two single spicy missions and a single original melt with four sides and two drinks for $88. Trays with burgers had mixed up side dishes but we figured it out. One Spicy Mission burger was lettuce wrapped by request, but a single thin leaf didn't hold up well to this juicy patty. And they are thick third pound patties, I didn't need a double and my giant sons had trouble finishing their doubles. Burgers tasted awesome, pink juicy and well seasoned. Lots of cheese, gooey and drippy. The sweet potato fries were very good, although I will hold the unexpected cinnamon sugar next time since I dip them in ranch. Ranch dressing was homemade and excellent. Mini Mac and cheese was a big hit with college son. Regular fries were devoured but still need to try to Parmesan ones! I think the regular fries have just salt and parsley on them, not any flavoring. Not sure why I tipped 15% on our $87.88 bill, because we picked up our own food and bussed our own table. If I thought the tip was to ensure an accurate order, it failed. This is not a bargain place but the meat and ingredients are very good quality. The filtered water at the soda dispenser was even good! A team member brought us a cookie, cut in four (we are a party of five but I am gf) which was nice. Bathroom floor is surprisingly dirty for a new restaurant. Otherwise the restaurant seemed clean and neat. We really prefer to give our business to the sole proprietors in the valley, but the Instagram ads for The Melt drew us in!

Was looking for a change up for lunch while on work and found this restaurant ! It all looks very yummy !! I got chicken burger with their sauce and fries and a strawberry lemonade and it was actually pretty good!! The restaurant is cute and I honestly love that there is a self check out for your order! Staff was nice as well!! Only reason for giving 4 stars is the burger was very messy they had put sauce on both ends of the burger and it could barely keep together. I would go again I'll just make sure to add a note of preference ! :)

Great location! If you are looking for some comfort food this is your place, thank me later :) Cute restaurant, fast service, plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. My favorite is the classic Melt burger, I made it a double and added grilled onions with a side of Parmesan fries. I was in cheesy goodness heaven! Their melty Mac is good and cheesy but lacks a little salt. I didn't get a picture of the snickerdoodle milkshake because I couldn't stop drinking it lol whoops! Definitely a favorite hopefully it's permanent on the menu! *My favorite burger spot in PV*

The food is great and it reminds me of Hopdoddy but better. I ordered the mushrooms burger, fries and a drink. The soda selection was a great change other than the coke and Pepsi products. The burger was big and tasted great. I singed up for their rewards program because I know I'll be back here. They also gave us a free sample of their cookies. Was also a delicious cookie. The place was clean on the inside and on the patio too. The staff were informative and kind, answering any questions I had since it was my first time. I ordered the original melt burger with lettuce, grilled onion, and tomato. My family ordered the melt with no additions, and a grilled cheese. We also all got regular fries, sweet potato fries, garlic fries, and bacon loaded fries. Every burger or sandwich was flavorless and bland. This was the worst burger I have ever had in my life. For the price and lack of flavor, I'd rather go to In-N-Out since they are inexpensive with delicious burgers. I swear the patties weren't even salted because it just didn't taste like anything, not even the grease from the meat juices. The best thing about this place was the fries. The fries were amazing and crispy without being stale or hollow. The fries were so seasoned and delicious. The restaurant needs to do to the burgers what they do to the fries because the difference is vast. Do not come here! read more

The burgers and fries were 10/10 the 4 stars is for the chicken sandwich that was not good and how much the burger ad ons were for how much they give you. If you're going to charge $2 to add mushroom they better be falling out the sides not a tablespoon scoop. The service was fast and easy and the area was very nice. read more

I had high expectations about the place when I found it online. When I arrived, I was slightly disappointed that it was more of a casual fast food place. Not a cheap fast food place, but one in which you order at the counter and wait for your order to be brought out to the counter. However, that's where the disappointment stopped. This Burger was beyond my expectations. It absolutely is the most delicious and Well made burger. If you like a very good serving size and a burger that's a little bit messy. They did not skimp at all in the making of this amazing burger. I also got the Sweet potato fries and the garlic herb fries and both really great. Also, if you like soda fountain, they do have some really great soda choices that are not big brand. This is my go to place for burgers from now on in the valley. Sidenote, the new design and upgrade of the Paradise Valley mall area is exceptional. They've done a great job bringing in tons of new restaurants and businesses. read more

Shout out to the Melt. Awesome experience at this new location. Nicholas was kind enough to chat with us as we were walking by with our baby letting us know about the kid friendly options. He was so nice and helpful taking our order and making suggestions, if only all team members could be like that! I was surprised their menu had expanded from their starting days to be a lot better. I came here with the husband, 2 year old, and baby. I really appreciated that their prices were not outrageous like everywhere else you can get a burger these days. I mean $13.69 for an impossible burger is still a lot but way better than what most places charge nowadays for the same thing. Their prices are going to keep me coming back. The kids mac & cheese was really good (even though after 6 bites my toddler would apparently rather eat teether crackers ) I got the spicy impossible burger. It was really good. I really like their soda (regular fountain drinks but made with cane sugar so you feel like it's a tiny bit better). Also, the staff were very helpful and attentive. A lot of times at places like this where you walk up and order, or you can order at a kiosk it seems like it's impossible to get stuff from the staff or they're always missing. There were multiple times when we needed something and someone was right there to help right away. read more

We tried The Melt for the first time today. Most indoor tables were occupied at 1pm (slightly chilly to sit outside); we were able to quickly get a high top. Restaurant was airy with high ceiling, with simple, thoughtful decor (kudos to their restroom setups - friendly for all gender and families with little kids). Now let's get to the food. We ordered BBQ Bacon and Swiss & Shroom, and a classic Crispy Chicken with one side of fries. For treats, we tried their fresh lemonade, cookies & cream milkshake, and a warm chocolate cookie. Our favorites were the BBQ Bacon and the shake - flavorful and juicy. The BBQ sauce added a nice punch. The patty in the Swiss & Shroom could use more seasoning (the crispy fried onions brought the salt but not there in every bite). The crispy chicken, unlike the fries, did not come out fresh and hot. That said, we do plan to come back and try other items on the menu! read more

Oh my goodness! When we heard The Melt was coming to Phx, we got so excited, even more when we found out it was going to be in our neighborhood. We love Melt, ever since having it in San Fran on Market St. Tonight we had the privilege of enjoying a complementary meal at their Friends and Family night (soft open). The food was just as delicious as it is every time we enjoy it in SanFran. Our food was done a bit quicker than we expected, everyone was very kind, and it was PACKED. We tried a couple things we hadn't before, like the Snickerdoodle shake it is DELICIOUS! My son always gets the MacDaddy and boy was he impressed with the portions today! Placed a to go order wife ordered burger with cheese ,lettuce and grilled onion I got the steak, cheese and peppers patty melt , also got fries and small Mac n cheese with bread crumb on top The lady taken the order on the phone was nice and the food was awesome both sandwiches where great tasting fries where also good. Now Mac n cheese was ok wasn't bad but it needs a little more flavor ( try a little smoke paprika) you will take it to the next level. But overall will go back food was great !!! read more

We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too. If you like chicken tenders, you won't regret trying Hot Chicken Alley!

I'm not exaggerating--this sandwich brought joy to my taste buds. Perfectly crispy, incredibly flavorful, and crafted with real care. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. But what truly made my visit exceptional were the two amazing staff members who helped make and serve my food: Derrick and Maria. They deserve major recognition. Derrick was incredibly helpful, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food he was preparing. His professionalism and friendliness made me feel genuinely welcomed. Maria was equally fantastic--warm, efficient, and thoughtful with every part of the service. Together, they elevated the entire experience. The chili pesto is not right for this burger (flavors don't jive). And they desperately need different buns. The paradise burger has the same issue (1000 island doesn't work). Stick with the big 3 condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayo). They are trying too hard to get a unique burger. Fries are very basic (crinkle cut would be a nice upgrade). Onions rings with the jalapeño ranch dip is excellent. Service was solid. Limited indoor seating. Overall good experience that could be great with a few changes. "FIMP" Food is My Passion

The cafe felt very thrown together with mismatching owls hung from the wall. The dining tables while a nice touch looked out of date and not in a vintagey way. This definitely was a one and done for us.

Cashier was waiting outside her station for me when I was ready to place my order, and after securing the manager to remove the complimentary entree I took my drink cup away. I really enjoy mixing my own lemonade concoction, strawberry kiwi and tea to cut the sugar with plain lemonade for tartness. The perfect blend! I found a high top table near the furry grass covered benches and settled in for what turned out to be about 3 minute wait. Much better! Considering this was a cold salad with just warm chicken, it was a great turnaround. Both times I ordered the Thai crunch salad without the ramen noodles and the bean sprouts. The first time this required "substituting the base of the salad" for kale and romaine which was fine. The second time when I said no bean sprouts, there was no question about the base and it was just romaine, which was also fine. I let them toss the salad with the dressing both times. It was not over or underdressed , just perfect. The dressing is fabulous it is a creamy Asian sesame flavored dressing. The salad still included crunchy candied almonds, shallots, mango, pickled daikon and carrots, cilantro with the hint of something spicy. The chicken is sliced, in bite sized pieces, tender and plentiful. I got full but didn't have leftovers, from this $16 entree. Excellent salad both visits. I bussed my own table and refilled my lemonade tea concoction for the road, it was 111 out but cool inside. Try it!!
