When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly lady who later told me she was the manager. She gave us a few suggestions of what to order the menu. Because it was our first time she even gave us two drinks on the house. I rarely drink anything but water, but they had Alameda cane sugar soda and I had a cola. I got a patty melt and my husband got the bbq bacon burger. They were both good, but the patty melt was better with the grilled onions and the toast. The bbq bacon burger was good as well. The fries were tasty as well. Overall I will be back and maybe try a cheesesteak or the Mac and cheese next time. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order either at the counter or from the self-service kiosks.

So you want something with cheese, we'll, so do we, and we found just the place! The cheese steak sandwich was awesome, I definitely be getting that again. The three cheese grilled cheese sandwich was the bomb too! Garli/parm fries were very flavorful! The root beer was really good. It was our first time there, and we're glad we went. The service was great, the cashier was patient and very helpful. The noise level inside was a bit loud, hence the 4 stars. They do have outside seats, but it was just too hot. Anyway, we will be back!

Came by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. This place was rather busy with a few open tables left. Went overboard with building my burger on the order kiosk. Paid and grabbed a number. Orders came out in decent time and looked good. Couldn't grab pictures quick enough before everyone dug in. Overall, a good choice if you want a quick and tasty burger. Fries were not too bad either. Staff were extremely friendly and were quick to grab condiments that we forgot. Enjoyed our meal here.

I got the spicy impossible, IMPOSSIBLE MELTBURGER honestly, this is the best vegan food I have ever had! My kids loved it, and I loved it. Whoever the young lady was working there last night was an absolute angel. She was extremely friendly with my children and even gave us goodies for our first experience she made it the best experience! I usually don't tip when I order out a machine, but I cannot help but to tip her if I had cash, I would've gave it to her directly! Don't lose that girl! Can't wait to take my husband and family back husband Has not tried it yet, but he is going to love it! The place was absolutely clean and beautiful as well! Located in the perfect place!

Came in for a quick bite.. I got the patty melt - which honestly would have been great if it was cooked. I eat beef carpaccio but I can't do raw hamburger meat. The place was slammed with door dash orders of course so quality was a tad out the door. The owner seemed to be here - but not a hands on moment.. The fries were delicious - the Mac and cheese were okay and the chicken sandwich was fine too. I definitely come back and get the patty melt and hope it's cooked correctly.

The Melt is a perfect neighborhood place. The burgers are incredible and definitely messy in the best way possible. Chicken sandwich was a little dry but not as good as the burgers. I had the spicy double and lived it with the fresh jalapeños. The fries were not as crispy and topped with some green herbs. Not sure I enjoyed it with the herbs. The sodas were perfect craft sodas and not your typical Coke or Pepsi. I would've given the place a 5 stars but I saw an employee take the quarter sheet pans in which the burgers were placed from the garbage drop off area and just wiped the surface and put back into inventory for new customers. The sheet pans weren't even put through the dishwasher for cleaning and sanitizing. I'm not so sure this is regular practice but someone needs to evaluate the cleaning process before a diner gets sick.

Our family visited the Tatum Blvd store on 12/24 for lunch. This is a walk up order at the counter place with buzzing coasters when your older is ready to pick up. Orders were accurately recorded by the cashier, who was very patient with the five of us and several special requests. But kitchen accuracy missed the mark, and two of our five burgers were missing ingredients. We did not ask for the missing ingredients, just ate our burgers anyway. We ordered one double melt, one double BBQ melt, two single spicy missions and a single original melt with four sides and two drinks for $88. Trays with burgers had mixed up side dishes but we figured it out. One Spicy Mission burger was lettuce wrapped by request, but a single thin leaf didn't hold up well to this juicy patty. And they are thick third pound patties, I didn't need a double and my giant sons had trouble finishing their doubles. Burgers tasted awesome, pink juicy and well seasoned. Lots of cheese, gooey and drippy. The sweet potato fries were very good, although I will hold the unexpected cinnamon sugar next time since I dip them in ranch. Ranch dressing was homemade and excellent. Mini Mac and cheese was a big hit with college son. Regular fries were devoured but still need to try to Parmesan ones! I think the regular fries have just salt and parsley on them, not any flavoring. Not sure why I tipped 15% on our $87.88 bill, because we picked up our own food and bussed our own table. If I thought the tip was to ensure an accurate order, it failed. This is not a bargain place but the meat and ingredients are very good quality. The filtered water at the soda dispenser was even good! A team member brought us a cookie, cut in four (we are a party of five but I am gf) which was nice. Bathroom floor is surprisingly dirty for a new restaurant. Otherwise the restaurant seemed clean and neat. We really prefer to give our business to the sole proprietors in the valley, but the Instagram ads for The Melt drew us in!

Was looking for a change up for lunch while on work and found this restaurant ! It all looks very yummy !! I got chicken burger with their sauce and fries and a strawberry lemonade and it was actually pretty good!! The restaurant is cute and I honestly love that there is a self check out for your order! Staff was nice as well!! Only reason for giving 4 stars is the burger was very messy they had put sauce on both ends of the burger and it could barely keep together. I would go again I'll just make sure to add a note of preference ! :)

Very solid burger spot, loved the taste of my double melt burger, I'd certainly come back. That said, though I enjoyed the wall art and the customization aspect of the self-serve kiosk, this place didn't have any music or unique atmosphere. Just kind of felt like Shake Shack to me but with better burgers and fresher ingredients. But that's okay. I'd still much rather eat a burger here than Burger King. This place definitely has a lot of solid menu items I'd like to come back and explore.

Great location! If you are looking for some comfort food this is your place, thank me later :) Cute restaurant, fast service, plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. My favorite is the classic Melt burger, I made it a double and added grilled onions with a side of Parmesan fries. I was in cheesy goodness heaven! Their melty Mac is good and cheesy but lacks a little salt. I didn't get a picture of the snickerdoodle milkshake because I couldn't stop drinking it lol whoops! Italian job, tomato soup, and garlic parm fries

Nothing like a solid grilled cheese and tomato soup. And I love when a grilled cheese has some yummy fresh veggies on it! We ordered online and it was ready in minutes but we dined in (we were just really hungry). Perfect fast casual spot. Parking is funky but we just parked in front of Whole Foods and walked a bit. For food we also got tomato soup, Mac n cheese, I got garlic Parmesan fries, my husband got regular fries and a bacon cheeseburger (no onions or bbq sauce). The food was delicious. I added jalepenos and tomatoes to mine plus the seasoning and it totally added. Amazing dipped in the soup. And loved how the toast was garlic toast as well. My husband said his burger was really good though he wished the bacon was crispier. We got a ton of food for a reasonable price so would definitely recommend and come back when we're wanting a big yummy meal! Glad we came here!

I didn't know what this place was going to be like but the neighborhood that it's in is very high scale. When I went in I found that the manager was quite friendly and personable. I had never eaten at this place but he gave me recommendations and was very helpful. The place was very clean and people in the restaurant seemed happy and enjoying their food. I had the bacon cheeseburger and french fries and it was amazing! The manager is so helpful also that he came over and knew it was my first time and gave me a warm chocolate chip cookie on the house. I had mentioned that I was looking at one of their famous shakes and he's like yeah let me get that started for you. At that point I went up to pay for it and he says nope this is on me! One of the most welcoming satisfying experiences that I've had in a restaurant in a long time. I would highly recommend this location, this food in this location, and the staff!

Placed a to go order wife ordered burger with cheese ,lettuce and grilled onion I got the steak, cheese and peppers patty melt , also got fries and small Mac n cheese with bread crumb on top The lady taken the order on the phone was nice and the food was awesome both sandwiches where great tasting fries where also good. Now Mac n cheese was ok wasn't bad but it needs a little more flavor ( try a little smoke paprika) you will take it to the next level. But overall will go back food was great !!! read more

So you know that magical moment when you've had a really good Thanksgiving meal and the food coma soon follows. Now imagine that, but with a burger, and EVERYDAY!! That's why The Melt is so incredible. My wife got the jalapeño burger and had to unhinge her jaw like the might anaconda to get it into her mouth. I got the basic double and a newfound faith in mankind on one tray. If the food were all- that would be more than enough, but the staff was so cool and answered all our questions. Derek put me on the fence between 3 different sandwiches (all of which look good) and the manager even came to our table to ask us how we enjoyed our meal. The last time a manager took the time to speak to us was to tell us our 5 year old was annoying other patrons. What a refreshing change of pace! The only drawback to this place is that parking suuuuuuucks. But still it's a nice vibe outside. Hey-at least you get to work your burger off!!!! read more

The food is excellent and better than most. The burger itself is a step above almost all in size, moisture and flavor. It is mostly self order and service but the staff is friendly. The store is very clean and in many ways resembles shake shack. I give Melt a slight nod over shake shack but will continue to visit both. read more

Cute, welcoming place with friendly and helpful staff. I'm just sorry to say that I won't be back because the food was subpar. I ordered a melt made with chicken breast and my son had a patty melt made with gluten free bread. We also ordered a side order of garlic Parmesan fries. We both left about a third of our sandwiches unfinished and we brought the fries home. My sandwich was too salty to continue eating and his sandwich was meh as far as flavor (husband ate the leftover portion of his patty melt which later felt like a rock in his stomach). We thought the Garlic Parm fries were too garlicky (and we usually like garlic) but when we brought it home and my husband tried them, he complained that they were too garlicky and we ended up tossing them. The only reason I'm posting this review is in hopes that it might help management with the taste of the food, everything else with great. read more

Perfect spot on a cooler rainy day in Phoenix. We stopped in to this new restaurant around the corner from Whole Foods at PV Mall. You can order from a kiosk or at the counter. We decided on a couple of tomato soups & a 3 cheese grilled sandwich. There is plenty of seating inside & out. Restaurant is very clean. Picked up our tray of food at counter when buzzer went off and enjoyed. Tomato soup was excellent! Prices were very reasonable & a good value. read more

My visit to Melt was fantastic from start to finish! The service was awesome. But the real star was the food. The chicken sandwich was absolutely incredible, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. Nice place. Service was good. Clean atmosphere. Well, maybe i got the wrong thing but i went in to try a melt burger. I know melt is the name so expect some cheese. My burger was a greasy flavorless mess. My tray had a puddle of grease on it. It fell apart after the second bite. Like ground beef fell apart. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. Didn't even finish it. Maybe i"ll go back and try some mac n cheese but not any time soon. read more

Oh what a dinner! What a burger! So nice to know that my all time favorite burger Phoenix in my neighborhood at Melt! It's even better that I remember- fresh high end ground burger, a generous serving of melted cheese,sautéed onions, a delicious deli pickle spear, Melt sauce on a quality bun! As generous as this sandwich was- I managed to eat the entire thing with several napkins! I had a few tasty fries and washed it all down with a tasty ginger soda! Melt you are my favorite new burger! Very nice and clean establishment. The hamburgers are delicious and well done. People are friendly and helpful. The only suggestion is to pull back on the salt a bit on the fries. We got two different type and both were salt bombs. Almost inedible. I'll be back for sure but will def ask for lighter salt on the fries. read more

We get these at "The Windmill" when we go to the jersey shore and the sauce that comes with the fried mushrooms is a horseradish sauce which is amazing (hint hint, Chuck Box). I would eat here again but bring a flashlight to inspect the produce and lower my expectations. It was good, not great. It smelled kind of off in here also. The AC and vents probably need to be cleaned.

I'm not exaggerating--this sandwich brought joy to my taste buds. Perfectly crispy, incredibly flavorful, and crafted with real care. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. But what truly made my visit exceptional were the two amazing staff members who helped make and serve my food: Derrick and Maria. They deserve major recognition. Derrick was incredibly helpful, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food he was preparing. His professionalism and friendliness made me feel genuinely welcomed. Maria was equally fantastic--warm, efficient, and thoughtful with every part of the service. Together, they elevated the entire experience. It's rare to come across employees who take such pride in what they do, and they absolutely deserve to be acknowledged. On top of that, the restaurant itself was spotless. The cleanliness stood out right away--from the dining area to the countertops, everything looked fresh and well-maintained. We had an incredible meal at The Melt on N. Tatum Blvd and I couldn't recommend it more! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and efficient--shoutout to Kevin who was our host and made sure everything was perfect. We ordered the Double MeltBurger, Double BBQ MeltBurger, Fries, Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries, and two milkshakes (Cookies & Cream and Double Chocolate), and every item hit the mark.
