Open all day long. We ordered online and my husband picked up. Next to Roadrunner downtown with plenty of available parking. The food was ready within minutes of us ordering. My husband's double burger was delicious and juicy. I asked for one bite and took several. The fries were cooked well with the right amount of crispy. Comes with ketchup packets. Seems like most of The Melt locations these days are questionable ghost kitchens so we were ecstatic when we found out an actual location had come to downtown Sunnyvale! Open until midnight everyday, this location came in super clutch when it was 10:30pm on a Sunday and most other food places had closed. We ordered the Hot 'n' Spicy Crispy Chicken w/ jack cheese (+1$) and the Garlic Parmesan Fries. Hot 'n' Spicy Crispy Chicken (5/5): The chicken sandwich featured a thick and colossal piece of crispy fried chicken. I thought the chicken could be pounded out thinner to increase the breading to interior meat ratio, and the batter could also use more seasoning. Still, the chicken was crispy-crunchy and dripping juicy with that spicy Melt sauce, not dry and fibrous at all! I love the addition of the raw jalapeño slices which bring the heat and vegetable rawness to balance things out. We also added lettuce, tomatoes, and raw onions to make things healthier, free of charge! Garlic Parmesan Fries (5/5): Wow these have to be one of my favorite garlic Parmesan fries around! The Parmesan is the more neutral type that doesn't smell like the cheesy bacteria that brews under your toenails. The fries also use an enormous amount of delicious chopped fresh raw garlic -- you'll be tasting this the next morning even after using mouthwash! The interior is bright, inviting, and clean. There are lot of picture-worthy signs and artwork on the walls. What a great addition to the increasingly vibrant and lively downtown Sunnyvale! read more

Came here on Community Day! Opening day is June 6th. Everyone was really nice and sweet -- training the employees currently so gratitude are a must! We got the lemonade which tasted crisp and refreshing and the iced tea which was strong and unsweetened. For our order, we got the melt burger, Swiss and shroom. Amazing burgers at a reasonable price. I especially liked how juicy the patty was, the softness of the bun, and the creamy buffalo sauce. There was also a lot of cheese, which I'm a big fan of. The fries aren't too bad either. I appreciated the clean interior and bathrooms, as well as the simple and modern interior design. My order was originally missing avocado, but the workers were friendly and very apologetic - they made it up by giving me a double serving on the side! This is a new location in downtown Sunnyvale, just a few doors from Tipsy Putt. The food was absolutely delicious! My favorite sweet potato fries is freshly made and crispy; I normally don't like burgers but my kid's size burger tasted so good! I normally don't eat pickles, but I ate one and it was surprisingly good with the burger as it wasn't too sour, just the right taste. The Cesar salad was fresh, with unique cheese filled bread cubes. Vanilla milk shake was creamy and yummy that gave a thorough American fast food vibe, but without the typical over sweetness. (Did they start taxing on sugar? :) ) Loved everything we ordered.
