a plate of food including a hot dog, potato chips, and beets

The plating is careless, the food is underwhelming, overcooked, & a huge disappointment. With that being said the biggest disappointment was our waitress. The pricing of this establishment is disproportionate to the quality of food & I would never recommend eating here.

We are staying at a bed and breakfast across the way. We are personally only doing take out at this time. We placed our order over the phone and it was ready exactly at 5:30pm as promised. Service was great and the food was hot when we got back to our room to eat it. We decided to share the NY Strip steak with fries and asparagus. I know it is a meal intended for one person but the steak was at least 1/3 fat cap and literally 5 spears of asparagus and 12 fries. Again, I know for one person but potatoes are cheap they could spared a few more. The steak was nothing to write home about at $42. NYC prices in small town NJ are fine by me if the quality is there. The fries were the best part and I just wish there were more of them.

My son and his wife brought me here for an early Mother's Day dinner. The food was fantastic and we all passed around our plates with my pork chop being the winner!! Great food, great service, wonderful company!!

We had a great time here, eating oysters and drinking yummy cocktails. We sat outside under a tent and felt totally safe. Highly recommend.

The vibe…read morewas chill and welcoming as soon as I walked in, nothing too fancy but still really nice and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and checked in just enough without being annoying. The food was the best part for sure. Everything tasted fresh and actually well-seasoned, especially the seafood. You can tell it's not just thrown together--it had that real Mediterranean flavor. The portions were good too, I definitely left full. There's also a nice variety on the menu, so it's easy to find something you'll like. Overall, it's a really solid spot. If you're into seafood or just want something different with good flavor, I'd definitely recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.

We were seated in a back booth which was quite comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink order. She returned with those and brought a variety of warm bread and rolls. Very nice and tasty. We ordered entrees which all came with a salad and 2 sides. I selected the Broiled Twin Lobster Tails with a garden salad, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The salad was delicious and a nice size. The Lobster tails were excellent. Succulent and flavorful. Truly the best I've had in years! The sides were well prepared and very tasty. I will be back here soon and I highly recommend this local gem to all seafood lovers.

It feels so good to be back, everything is just as incredible as I remember. My friends and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops, fried calamari, and escargot and garlic butter. The scallops could have used a few more minutes in the oven, but overall, the appetizers were flavorful and skillfully prepared. For dinner, I ordered the fruits de mer, one of my favorite dishes, and Henry's absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dish features a generous mix of lobster, shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat, all served in a creamy garlic sauce over linguine. My friends had the broiled cold water lobster twin tails and chicken Alfredo. The lobster was sweet, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and served with brown butter. The Alfredo was rich and creamy, with juicy, well cooked chicken. Our server, Jaime, made the evening even better. She was attentive from start to finish.
