The bartenders are so so friendly, the musicians/DJs are talented, and the people who attend? Some of the kindest, most down to earth people you'll meet at a bar. You know there are immaculate vibes when multiple people leave their possessions on the bar top (cell phones, wallets) to shake their booties and you find em right where you left em. And truthfully, this bar is cleaner than mannny other dive bars around town. You know how I can tell? Their bathrooms are quite clean. Thank you Chicago Bar for bringing people together!

I stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon, after visiting the pizza place next door. I didn't realize that both businesses are owned by the same people until I had to use the restroom, which is on the Drinkery side, and saw the many options of beer. It's a spacious place but I will agree with others who say the chairs are not the most comfortable. What the drinkery needs is a combination of plush couches and coffee (beer?) tables. I ended up trying two very good beers: the #4 Mosaic American Wheat beer OMG (5% ABV) and the #2 Mosaic Apricot Sunset, a fruity blonde. Both had pleasant mouth feel. I should have had a flight of various more beers instead, as there were so many good choices. My bill for both beers was $13. That's a very reaonable price. The beer tender was friendly and helpful. I sat outside with my dog as the sun slowly descended in the west. I will be back to try other beers and combine them with the pizza next door.

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Wow! White sauce, bacon--yes bacon!--and peas. Yeah...peas. It actually worked quite well. The peas were a good complimentary flavor and texture. The whole thing was amazingly good. And the toast on ciabatta was perfect! Light toasty crunch on the outside with butter and garlic and nice fluffy bread on the inside. Youi can even order a side of this lovely bread. Since the jazz was outside, this is where I dined. It was chilly out but they had gas bonfires going that made it comfortable. I think the waitress was the only one working for both outside (where I dined and listened to the band) and inside, so I didn't get checked on as often as I would have liked. I had to get up and get my own drink refill from the bar, but I don't fault her. She was pleasant serving us. I recommend this restaurant and the Monday night jazz is a bonus. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. Be aware for travelers, according to Arizona state law, you cannot bring any outside purchased alcoholic beverage in the gazebo, patio, or in the pool area. The staff stated you cannot bring any beverage they sold you on this property into the pool area either, which conflicted with signage. Overall, I'd describe the few times I visited during my stay as, "so-so" or "fine, but would rather find somewhere else."

We went for midget wrestling for past few years and this was the first at encore for us. No lights were shined on the stage. Can't even see the stage if you are short (5"1'). It was a pretty bad performance of all the times we went and just very unorganized. Was supposed to start at 7 didn't until after 8. The bathrooms were very gross. It's cash only but there's only one ATM and no where on advertising says cash only. Because they did all ages. Very song was cut off at the best part and just some of the worst performances/ show put together. Plenty of parking and good staff was only highlight. We left during intermission it was that bad.
