Our waitress at the bar seating was great, and very attentive. The vibe of the restaurant was very cozy and vintage! Definitely a cute place for the aesthetic. The food on the other hand was ok. My fiancé was very happy with his burrito, he claimed it was seasoned to perfection! My egg whites lacked any real flavor, the grits tasted like instant grits and were also not seasoned at all. And the we were so excited about the biscuits and gravy BUT ONCE AGAIN they didn't have any flavor and had a very gloopy texture. It was kind of a let down, but maybe I'll try something different or lunch. I just feel like there's better breakfast options out there.

Our waitress, Angie, was wonderful! From the moment we arrived she treated us like family (in a good way, y'all!). My husband had the fried fish and I had the St. Paddy's special, corned beef and cabbage. My husband enjoyed the fried fish. There was so much corned beef & cabbage that I couldn't finish but half of it. The restaurant is an old time diner straight out of the past. It's beautiful. We also had the carrot cake and key lime pie...both yummy. This place is a must in Georgetown, Texas. Y'all come!

I can't believe I hadn't reviewed this place, so let's fix that. My wife and I have visited a number of times over the last couple of years, so we're fans who will continue to return. The interior has almost a diner type feel to it, but it's also modern and spacious. The staff are very helpful and the service is in the "Southern charm" realm. A selection of desserts is available for takeout in a refrigerated case at the checkin area, and while on that topic: as others have mentioned, this is a "get on the waitlist when you get here" kind of place, but trust me, it's worth it. First order of business for me is always coffee, and their cuppa is a good, straightforward, comfort food pour, tasting great no matter how you take it. Of course, you can get adult beverages as well, and the bloody Marys in particular are a treat. Moving on to food, I've tried a number of things here: Chicken and grits - Featuring chicken tenders in a nice, thick bowl of yummy yellow grits, adorned with egg and bacon, it's a flavor party in your mouth. I added some Valentina sauce for spice and it really satisfied. Biscuits and gravy - Tender, flaky biscuits smothered in warm white cream gravy with chunks of sausage and coarse ground black pepper, these gems can indeed be a meal by themselves. Ask me how I know. :) Carrot cake - Tried this on our most recent visit, and wow. It's a three layered affair with dense cream cheese frosting, and the cake was super fresh and moist. Big walnut chunks were visible throughout, and it was just a knockout, through and through. Finally, one other thing completely unrelated to food: The restrooms are the awesome unisex "row of single seater rooms" that just remove any weirdness or "more girls than guys" issues. They're super clean as well, and you know, we all gotta go, and these are probably second only to Buc-ee's in terms of greatness. Kudos to the designers and the staff that keep them in top shape.

We had a late breakfast at the Monument Cafe for the first time to celebrate getting our license to commit marriage. So we decided to take a trip back in time to a 50s-style diner. Monument pulled off chic Happy Days kitsch with aplomb and an upscale touch. Despite wanting a slice of pie very desperately, I settled for the daily special of Pecan Pie French Toast. My lady went with the far more traditional and beloved hamburger and onion rings plate. Because nothing says breakfast like crispy cow and root vegetables. Rachel, our waitress was prompt, and attentive. Unfortunately, she had to be the bearer of bad tidings. They had just served the last order of Pecan Pie French Toast. I'll bet they had more Pecan Pie. They just weren't going to waste it on my French toast. So we ordered a flight of margaritas while I pondered the menu. My near-wifey and me--not the waitress and me. And ate our free biscuits. As we were told, biscuits are Monument's answer to tortilla chips. They just don't crunch the same and they don't come in a basket and there are only two of them. Otherwise, identical. While we were waiting, Rachel came up with a substitute breakfast of the day: Gingerbread French Toast. I really wanted just a pancake, but French Toast was calling my name, so I changed my mind. And then my order. In that order. The margaritas were "interesting". The flavors confounded each other. We agreed there were two we liked best and two we liked least. So we drank those first. We saved the best. It was really hard getting out with the margarita glasses in our pockets without spilling, but we did it. My wifey's burger was great. She even let me taste an onion ring. I got more than a free lick. I got a whole ring. Which she will get in a few weeks. My French Toast was piled high with whipped cream and sprinkled with a crumbed gingerbread cookie and powdered sugar. I missed not having syrup. Wifey said it was offered, I was just starstruck by the whipped cream on the French toast. Unfortunately, the gingerbread cookie just left me longing for the pie I lost. That's how the cookie crumbles. Now how do you get 5 stars out of this experience, you ask? Because of the pie I didn't eat. My wifey forbid it. So I saved calories. All joking aside we had an absolutely delightful experience here and would come back in a heartbeat. Rachel was fantastic and made up for the menu omissions. I'll manage to sneak back by sometime on my own for that pie.

This restaurant is always top-notch. From the service to the food, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the tastiness, the affordability!!! They have fresh pies for sale, along with coffees and teas and more. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is my favorite place to go to lunch and breakfast.

This is a well run operation. Think small town diner that has standardized and made more efficient the process of delivering a delicious meal to your table. The kitchen prep, the cooking griddle, the prep counter, and the customer counter stretch from one end to the restaurant to the other. Food comes out hot and well presented. We came here two days in a row and even brought family with us the second day. The first time here, my hubby and I both got Eggs Benedict. He went for the classic with ham. I opted for the Florentine, and they were kind enough to add tomato to my Benedict. The second time I went for the seasonal French toast with peaches and cream. It was filling and scrumptious. To avoid the hour wait for a table, we sat at the counter the first time. We were able to get a seat immediately because we arrived well before the church crowd on a Sunday. On the Monday morning when we came, my hubby went a half hour early to put our names in the list. By the time the rest of our party showed up, our table was ready. There is down time here since there is a large retirement community here. The place is always busy, but they are consistently good at providing a delicious hot meal.

Considering we have been to Georgetown many times, we had never eaten here.. until we did!! Wow, wow, wow! From the wait to the service to the food.. it did not disappoint. Sure, we went an hour before closing, but the place was still somewhat packed and people were still being seated. The menu offers a wide variety of food, which is good since I am a vegetarian. The staff was friendly and were very patient in some requests (I had asked if the broccoli cheddar soup had any type of meaty broth, she went back to check and told me it was vegetarian friendly). I ordered the grilled 4 cheese sandwich which came with a cup of soup, plus a side (I got French fries). He ordered biscuits and gravy ( said they "are the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had outside of MO), chicken sandwich, and onion rings (not pictured). Will we ever go back again? You bet we will.

Pancake! Not sure if it was worth the cost of one pancake. The syrup was amazing, the pancake was good.

Service was amazing! About a 30-35 minute wait on a Sunday, but it felt like the time went by since we checked out the super cute local bookstore around the corner and the antique store across the street. We got the eggs Benedict, our waitress recommended a side of spinach instead of potatoes and it was great! Especially because they already give complimentary biscuits for each person at the table. The biscuits were warm, salty, and paired great with what I believe was some homemade jellies. My husband got the chicken and biscuits with gravy. He got extra gravy for 50¢ and loved it. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're driving through like we were.

Heard a lot about this place....and it lives up to the hype. My wife had a pancake; very good. I had the corned beef has w/ over-easy eggs, plus a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. They make the corned beef in house; the biscuits are exceptional. You must give this place a try!!

Second visit here, I've only tried the breakfast sandwhich & biscuits. The grits were flavorless and they added entirely too much cheese . Not impressed with those however the sandwhich is great and so are the biscuits . The jams offered with the biscuits are well rounded, I enjoyed the blaackberry the most. We brought some family in they had a salad and a Turkey sandwhich - they enjoyed them both. The Wait for a table can get long depending on the day and time you go. Our waitresses name was heather and she was awesome! Very upbeat , kind, and knowledgeable! She paid attention to detail and ensured we had everything we needed through out our visit!

Food: I ordered Eggs Benedict Florentine, and it came with a side of grits. The eggs and spinach, and it was delish. I only had a little of the grits because I was already full after finishing the eggs. The server brought biscuits and jams, and they were delish. Service: Our server was super nice. Ambiance: I liked the decor and this place was hopping when we got there. It has a family-friendly vibes. Parking: They have their own parking lot. Street parking is also available.

Fun diner in North Austin. We went on a Saturday morning and it was busy- but we only experience a 15 minute wait. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty.

I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! Whether you stop in for a quick coffee or find a gift for someone special, or let's be honest, even for yourself (#selfcare) , this is the place to spend your $! Every penny goes back into the special needs crew and their vocational training and the services provided to the community. Oops! I should have lead with that! It's a non-profit! Helping adults with special needs share their super powers with the world! So you're getting pampered, filling your belly, AND scoring treasures for loved ones while giving back to a great cause. What are you waiting for? Go.

Iced cookie butter latte!!!…read more Perfect!!! Not too strong .. perfect balance of flavors .. not overly sweet which is how many shops prepare and it just drowns the flavor of the espresso .. anyway I ordered the large and it comes with 3 espresso shots - Since I don't love super strong coffee I requested the 3rd on the side but ended up using it anyway as it was perfect with all 3! The espresso was not bitter and had a wonderful flavor .. and smelled divine .. there were several other offerings that I'm eager to try later.. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.. the Service was fantastic Avery was super sweet and helpful .. anxious to visit again!

I got a toffee ice latte drink; the toffee was a bit overpowering for my taste, but overall not too bad. Looking around while I waited for my drink, I noticed a few people were there to study or were on their laptops. Hopefully, I will get to try their food one day. The inside is decently sized. A few tables are spread out so you aren't too close to someone, which is always great. It has a bright atmosphere to the place. The shop/restaurant also sells merch like shirts and coffee beans as well.

When I'm down and out, I head over to the bar side of Wildfire. This time, there was a different…read morewaitress/bartender. She was GREAT! She was very attentive and kind! Thank you! Usually, I get the chicken and dumplings. I was celebrating getting a new job so, I got the ribeye. I ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, the cut wasn't good. It was thin and had thick gristle, throughout. I assumed that I would need salt. I asked for flakey salt. The sweet waitress/bartender, brought me kosher salt in a nice container. The salt helped! However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain! I'm sure that if I would have, they would have done anything to correct it!) The positives? The green beans were AMAZING! Still a bit crispy and tasted great! The mashed potato's were good. I ordered an Old Fashioned. It was wonderful! The service couldn't have been better! I love the bar side of Wildfire! The seating can be private or meant for people watching. It's very comfortable! All in all, this is the place to go! The service is always amazing! I didn't enjoy the ribeye but, I'm a steak snob. Wildfire will always be my "go to" spot! Sit in the bar area and you will get the best service! Edit to say that the regular bartender is fantastic! He always has been!

Monday is 10 oz prime rib. It's always tender and delicious! I do wish I could get a bigger slice because it's that good! Wife and daughter had the green beans as a side. Wife just loves them. I had the collard greens for a change. They were good. I'm no greens expert and have only had them about 5 times. Being Irish, cabbage was our go to. Collard greens were never served in our house. Service was excellent, but that's the norm here. I didn't even take pictures because I am so use to everything being perfect here. Our family's go to for a celebration meal. You will never go wrong choosing Wildfire!
