I made an appointment online the night before, and while the website was a little confusing to navigate at first since I wasn't sure what information to include, the service was wonderful! Loan was incredibly sweet and did an amazing job on my natural nails. It had been a while since my last gel manicure, and she was very patient while I decided on a color, even testing a few different shades on my nails to help me choose. As a new client, I was a bit shy, but Loan made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I also noticed they offered a 10% discount on their website, which I was able to use at checkout. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again!

I've been meaning to write this for a while! I religiously get my nails done so when I moved to the Hayward/Union city area I was in search of a place I can call my nail home lol the customer service is always excellent and welcoming, the space is clean, and they pay attention to what you ask. I like all the promos or new pedicure scents they add. The video is from their matcha pedicure! They really try to have it be a spa like experience and I enjoy that they remember me. I've brought my mom and sister when they visit and they loved it as well. I get builder gel and their shaping is on point. Never too thick

This was a great find! It's really clean and cute. I went with my daughter and we had such a great time. The massage chair was so nice. Both our attendants were excellent! We got the royal pedicure. It was awesome. Our feet and legs feel great. The leg massage was amazing! They had hit wax that really hydrated my legs. The hot stones were great. Just a nice mother daughter experience. We are definitely coming back again!

It took me awhile to find a new salon after moving from the South Bay, but I've found it! After at least three other salon trial and errors, I'm now a regular at The Moon Nails. Tiffany is the best! I get hard gel and she's really efficient with cleaning and nail prep. While that's the boring stuff, it's so important to get right so that your nails look good and last. I'll usually bring some inspo pictures and Tiffany replicates it perfectly. I can easily get three, even four weeks out of my manicures. Can't wait for my next mani!

Both my Gel-X set and pedicure look exactly how I requested via my reference photo with designs and my nail retention has been good also between fills. Great customer service. Honest prices. Tiffany was awful. you can see in my nails that she slopped on 2 layers of polish. My 10 yr old could've done better job. They didn't even try to fix my ingrown toenails. Not sure if i'll go back.

This was my first time coming to this nail salon, everything about it was amazing. I had Sam as my tech, I expressed I had a concern and the whole time she was mindful and thoughtful. My nails came out beautiful! I was also offered Vietnamese birthday cake, and it was delicious. I highly recommend this shop.

First time here, and I will definitely be back! Got a gorgeous cat eye manicure with chrome details for only ~$65 before tip, including BIAB gel. This was a softer alternative to builder gel. Amazing price for the value. Helen and Tiffany were so sweet, patient, and accommodating as they worked on me. They offered me tea and kept checking in to make sure I was satisfied. They didn't mind when I asked for changes to the nail color. Often times, I've experienced nail techs who get frustrated when they are asked for modifications. This has put me off from nail salons in the past. So it was very comforting to see the opposite here. They genuinely want you to be happy with your nails. Also, Tiffany checked in about how I wanted the designs to look before she carefully drew the chrome nail art. I appreciated her eye for detail. I also got the royal massage for $49. Cant think of a more relaxing way to wrap up a manicure. Thanks ladies!

Went here on Wednesday for a pedicure, and Ivy was great. Came back a few days later for a mani and I'm still impressed! Helen did an amazing job -- she matched my inspo pic perfectly. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was relaxing from start to finish. My boyfriend also got a pedicure and loved it! We'll definitely be back. :)

used to love this place, everyone is so nice until the other day I got my toes done and due to the wax I got burnt. I called and left them a message if there was anything they can do and they didn't do anything. Now I have to deal with my foot in pain from being burnt. In response to the owner NO MY FEET ARE NOT SENSITIVE you can clearly see from the pic they are brunt you guys burnt me own up to your mistakes and not blame the customers! I have never in my life been "sensitive" while getting a pedicure !

They do the bare minimum here and talk about you in Vietnamese, but are we surprised? Every woman that came in seemed to fight over the best workers to do their nails -- as they should because the work done on my pedicure wasn't great. The massage that came with the pedicure was just a rub down and they don't exfoliate your feet. There's definitely better places to get your nails done but if you ABSOLUTELY need to get your nails done in a pinch and have nowhere else to go, by all means, go right ahead and good luck. read more

What a wonderful pedicure! I walked in for a Thursday and it was semi-busy. Since I didn't have an appointment, I waited about 10mins and it was actually 10minute wait. Immediately, I was welcomed with the drink menu. I got the tropical pedicure which was the moon pedicure plus a free drink, lol. My tech was Lydia and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. She even offered me two Madeline's because she needed to do a quick wax for another client. I didn't mind. For the service and the full service pedicure, the price was definitely worth it. I had such an amazing experience with Lynn and can't recommend her enough! She gave me the most stunning green cat eye gel manicure. It catches the light beautifully, and I've been getting compliments nonstop. Her attention to detail is incredible, and she really took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. On top of that, the pedicure was unbelievably relaxing. Lynn has such a calm, soothing demeanor that instantly puts you at ease. I truly appreciated how present and attentive she was throughout the entire appointment. It never felt rushed, and she made the whole experience feel special. I have been going here since it opened and this place is fully equipped with whatever you need! My coworkers have been clients of Tiffany's for a few years and always have the most fabulous nails. I tried them out for a fill after a few nails popped off from another place. Rosie did my fill and it was gorgeous. Came back a week later and got a pedi/eyebrow wax with Tara. Loved Tara's technique of waxing when the client is sitting up. Will definitely return for that. Finally, returned today to have my acrylics removed to convert to gel x with Tiffany. The care Tiffany gave when when removing the acrylic was so gentle. Can't rave enough about her care. This was my first time getting gel-x, ever. The Moon Nails was recommended to me by a coworker. I made an appointment for another nail tech, which the appointment was confirmed, but she wasn't there when I went. The salon itself looks clean, modern, and new. The woman that helped me to check-in was nice, & she assured me that I would be taken care of. Another nail tech, Ivy, was assigned to me. Ivy was so kind and patient, especially for a new customer like me who isn't used to these type of nails. I asked her for a short, "thin French" mani, and whichever shape she thought would suit me. I really wanted to get my nails done and wasn't sure where to go. I stumbled upon this place and noticed it had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, I was greeted right away. I had originally booked with someone else, but due to a double booking, another technician took over--and honestly, she did a great job on both my pedicure and Gel-X set! I got a regular pedicure, and let me just say--it was one of the best I've ever had. Super relaxing and exactly what I needed. As for my Gel-X, I didn't know what design I wanted, so I really appreciated the tech's patience while I figured it out. I am from San Diego and never ever had this kind of experience... love the ambiance, the music, the cleanliness... the staff are soo friendly and treats you like a princess... they give importance to every small detail. The best part-----in some salons the staff just keeps on talking in their own language and it becomes so noisy and we feel conscious.. I am new in town so I decided to take a chance and go to the nail place closest to me. Not only did they want to charge me extra to scrub my heels. They also grinded my nails down to where they are now as thin as a piece of paper. I had to go back within a week because my dip mani started to chip. She fixed it for free and I tipped the girl $20 on top of what I tipped and paid prior. The girl started as quick as possible, and rushed through the entire thing! My dip nails were not removed properly ! Two days later, the polish starts to chip again and my nail underneath is starting to tear at the corner because it's so thin and not protected. I am so beyond upset and fed up with people taking advantage. I feel helpless and I feel like I'm a nuisance because I already went back and the issue still remains. read more

I religiously get my nails done so when I moved to the Hayward/Union city area I was in search of a place I can call my nail home lol the customer service is always excellent and welcoming, the space is clean, and they pay attention to what you ask. Helen did my gel pedicure for me and did a beautiful job, I believe the girl who did my manicure gel set was named Tara or Tana and she did absolutely amazing as well.
