I thought that the service was fantastic. The waiters were really nice. The food I thought was also really thought out. To start, there was bread that was given out to the table. Next was the appetizers which I really enjoyed. It was lamb chops which personally was my favorite and calamari which also tasted excellent. For my entree I had a dish that I can not remember the name of but had muscles, clams, fish, shrimp and rice. Stopped to have dinner after visiting Longwood Gardens. I had the Greek Pizza and my husband had the Greek salad with Salmon. Overall it was good but I only gave it 3 stars because mine was very salty tasting. I like salt, but this was too much for me. I only ate 2 slices and brought the rest home. (My daughter took the rest for lunch the next day). My husband said the Greek salad/salmon was good but was surprised that there was no lettuce in the salad. If you like tomatoes you will love this, lots and lots of tomatoes! Our waitress was great though! read more

I held my bridal shower at the Naked Olive in their beautiful back room. Not only was the atmosphere stunning, but the staff were so attentive and made my shower run so smoothly! Love this place people who work there couldn't be nicer and food couldn't be healthier and more delicious. Being a pet lover I was ecstatic to have our Australian Labradoddle named Dolly welcomed there. They have a beautiful heated outdoor area with tall heat lamps and our server Alex suggested Dolly try Chef Angel's special lunch for pups. What a hit that was! And it was quite a large portion of shredded chicken, frozen peas and blanched carrot strips. A great time was had by all! We've been there twice now and the only negative thing we have to say is that the pasta was over cooked and mushy. My husband is Italian and very picky about his pasta. It must be al dente! He even asked the waitress to pass his request along to the kitchen. Food flavors and the other dishes we got (Brussels sprouts!) were great, service was great, love the atmosphere and the fact that there is parking! Not only is the food AMAZING, but the service and ownership is incredible! I have been here multiple times and each time I have been overly impressed by this establishment. We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this new addition to the options in Kennett. First and foremost the food was fantastic! I'm looking forward to going back. Based on the level of activity a lot of people agree. We got there relatively early on a Friday and were seated quickly. The dining room filled soon after and from where we sat we could see a a steady stream of take out business as well. Having a decent sized parking lot makes it more accessible than Kennett's street parking. We had a chance to speak with a few of the owners briefly as they hustled around the restaurant ensuring everything was as perfect as they could make it. We especially enjoyed meeting Elias, a charming older gentleman and father of the owners. It was clear that they put their heart and soul into this business. Their influence is reflected in the attentiveness of the staff. We go out quite a bit and our experience here stands out. In summary the food, service and environment are all top notch. I really want to give the Naked Olive five stars, but...The vibe, decor and service were top notch. Our server was awesome and provided a memorable experience. The food was good but not great. Our mezza platter app was so-so in presentation, quality and quantity. I had the red snapper special which was tasty but the fish was overcooked. My husband's short ribs were very good but he said his mashed potatoes were disappointing. My friend ordered Steak Frites and said her steak was rubbery. I'd definitely go back but might order from the middle of the menu and see if the food experience is better. read more

A great small restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming , the staff is well trained and friendly and the owner was watchful and interesting. What a great restaurant! Wonderful food with a very creative menu. I grew up in an Armenian family and enjoyed many of the same foods. The Naked Olive is really so much better than what I grew up eating (I can only say that as my aunties have all passed!) We have been several times for celebrations and for no special reason other than wanting a really good meal. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The waitstaff is attentive and personable. We had an excellent dinner - visiting Longwood gardens for the day and this was a convenient spot for dinner. First impressions were really good- the interior decor was excellent. We were seated in the back room which was just great. The food, service, ambiance was all top notch. The flatbreads were very good, lamb chops a bit heavy on the salt but overall good, octopus slightly over cooked but still enjoyable. The mains were all hits- the Branzino was top notch , cooked perfectly and we really liked the wild rice it came with. The Castilla burger was excellent- medium rare really was just that. Desserts were great too. Overall, the ambiance of the place and our extremely attentive and efficient server made for a perfect meal. We wanted to share entrees and each of them was plated separately, something few restaurants do nowadays. The owner came over to say hello- we were surprised they have been open only a month.
