    Smoked Gouda burger
    Lindsay C.

Good burger! The Gouda cheese shone through and added a nice flavor to the well-cooked meat. Would've given it a higher rating except that there wasn't much bacon jam, which made the burger itself a bit dry, especially with so much bun. I wish that flavor had been more present. Added some ketchup and it made things better. Good serving of fries, too! I'd order it again and definitely try other things on the menu, as well.

The Neighborhood table is a solid spot. It's spacious inside and the neighborhood table side is nice enough to feel like you're at a nice dinner while the Bah side is lively enough for a night out for some beers. When we came in we were asked if we wanted to sit on the bar side with live music or the other side where it's a little quieter. Being the old souls we are, we chose the quiet side. It was nice to have the option! I ordered the pastrami sandwich and I have to admit, I enjoyed it. Best pastrami I ever had? Not exactly, but it was adequate, tasty, and the pastrami is made in house. The description did claim for the sandwich to come on a sourdough hardroll, can confidently say it's not sourdough and it was just a soft sub-roll. The pastrami was a tad on the dry side and it could have used some thousand island or some kind of sauce. The mustard just didn't quite cut it. But again, solid. I think this could be a good spot to come with some pals, it's not exactly the best food or best atmosphere in the world from my small sampling, but it's a solid B- spot. If you like the bar scene, it honestly might be a more top of mind option for you. I think a few beers by the bar and the Detroit pizza on their menu would make for a good time. I could see myself back here for a family meal for a change of pace. You'll get solid food, decent service and an easy going time.

Walking into The Neighborhood Table and The BAH feels like stepping into a neighborhood spot that can't quite decide if it's a cozy diner, sports bar, or art gallery with a peculiar fascination for ovine-inspired fine art. The result is charmingly schizophrenic - a warm, wood-dominant space where Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" has been replaced by "Sheep with a Pearl Earring" watching over your Detroit-style pizza or steak sandwich. The restaurant unfolds across several distinct areas: a main dining room bathed in natural light from rows of windows with nautical blue trim; a bar area (The BAH) with purple accent lighting and tall metal stools; and a middle section featuring dark wainscoting, wooden tables, and a lineup of TVs showing the games of the day. What ties these spaces together is the restaurant's unexpected gallery of sheep-headed classic art parodies. From "The Scream" to Van Eyck's "Arnolfini Portrait" to "American Gothic" to the "Mona Lisa," no masterpiece is safe from being "sheepified." The sheep theme cleverly plays on the restaurant's name - "The BAH" - a punny nod to sheep sounds and the stereotypical RI pronunciation of "bar." It's the kind of quirk that makes you appreciate the little touches that make you love the place. We arrived as the second stop on the second leg of Rhode Island's "Food Fights Sandwich Showdown." Our haul: a meatball sandwich, Mediterranean wrap, and a Detroit-style pepperoni pizza. The Detroit-style pizza was the standout. This rectangular, deeper-dish pizza arrives with a buttery, crisp crust that provides the foundation for a sauce-forward experience. Unlike many pizzerias where cheese and toppings take center stage, here the sauce is the prima donna - bright, rich, and commanding attention with every bite. The Wisconsin brick cheese, supposedly a hallmark of Detroit-style pizza, remained a silent partner in the arrangement, present but not particularly assertive. The pepperoni cups crisp at the edges, creating little pools of savory oil that meld with the sauce. It was very tasty. The Mediterranean wrap brought a refreshing contrast. House-made hummus with pronounced lemon acidity formed the base, complemented by feta that added briny punch. The mixed greens were fresh and plentiful, and the wrap itself was soft and pleasant to chew - exactly what you want when you're trying to contain a garden's worth of vegetables. There's something to be said for a kitchen that makes its own hummus rather than scooping it from a plastic tub. Unfortunately, the meatball sandwich didn't reach the same heights. The texture was oddly reminiscent of pâté - a smooth, uniform consistency that felt off for something as rustic as a meatball. Crispy onions tried valiantly to add textural interest but only emphasized the odd consistency. The sandwich suffered from dryness, crying out for more sauce to offset what was otherwise a parched eating experience. The sauce from the pizza would have put this over the top. The bread, however, was quite good - sturdy enough to contain its contents without disintegrating, yet giving in appropriately to every bite. The Neighborhood Table and The BAH occupies a very comfortable middle ground - not destination-worthy but would be a favorite for locals seeking a nice meal and a cold drink Inna fun, friendly atmosphere.

Standing tall on the side of Post Rd lies The Neighborhood Table and The BAH. We went into the BAH as the next stop of the Southern Leg of the RI Food Fights Sandwich Showdown. The woman who warmly greeted us at the hostess stand was also our server and she led us to our seat in the BAH area of the establishment When you walk into The BAH, you get the feeling you're walking into the neighborhood handout. If I still lived around the corner, I could see myself posted up at the bar relaxing after work. The bar is decorated with lamb plushies and polaroids of employees? Regulars? Winners of the weekly hunt for Sherlock, the lamp chop stuffie? No matter who are in the photo, the display tells you this is a community spot and they like to have fun. My kind of place. We ordered the meatball sandwich and the Mediterranean wrap, and added a pepperoni Detroit style pizza just for funsies as we are also big pizza fans. Since we came at a slower time, we didn't have to wait the usual 20 minutes for the pie. After not much time, we were ready to cut up the sandwiches and dig in. The Mediterranean wrap was delicious. The flour wrap was soft, almost as if they opened a new package and we got the first one. Filled with tender greens, feta, kalamata olives, a preserved lemon hummus and more, this wrap was a punch of freshness, acidity and briny that had my taste buds singing. Highly recommend this salad as a wrap as it was delicious. The meatball sandwich was... confusing. They add crispy onions to the sandwich. While I always welcome a crunchy element to a softer textured sandwich like a meatball, this addition changed the overall taste of it. The meatballs themselves were smooth ground meat and were quite soft. Combined with the crispy onions, the taste for me was reminiscent of stuffing. Like Thanksgiving stuffing. The sandwich itself wasn't bad, just not what I'm looking for in a meatball sandwich so unfortunately this was a miss for me. Finally, the pizza. On this pie, the star of the show is the sauce. Robust, tangy and with a depth of flavor none of us could quite place, every bite that had it was fantastic. Everything else was a background note. While I appreciate how quickly the pie came out, it could have used a few more minutes in the oven as the bottom was a bit pale. However the dough was cooked through and had some of that caramelized cheese crispyness that we all love about a Detroit. Overall it was decent. I would order it again (well done) but I wouldn't go out of my way to come by and get it. This place is definitely your neighborhood hangout and I love how community oriented this spot is. The food is overall good even with a few misses here and there. But no matter my taste, you can tell they put love and attention in everything they do.

Our third visit here and The Neighborhood table is consistently excellent! We discovered this restaurant through the RI Food Fights and were excited to see that they were part of this year's Best Burger Challenge. We started with the Nacho Tostadas which were loaded with toppings and described as "The perfect bite every time", which was accurate as every bite was a melding of savory goodness. We both ordered the Smoked Gouda Burger, which was cooked perfectly and was served on a substantial roll that was able to handle the juicy burger and all of the toppings without falling apart. We also ordered a house side salad, which was a great mix of greens and veggies - far nicer than the typical house salad. The dessert menu looked amazing as well, but I decided on liquid dessert and chose one of their many espresso martinis - this one with an almond biscotti rim. Such a sweet and prefect ending to our meal! We have always chosen to sit in the "Table" portion of the restaurant, which is spacious, nicely decorated, and great for conversation. Next time we visit (which I hope will be soon!) we are going to try sitting in the "Bah" where there are high top tables and also bar seating. Lastly, our server was Sarah, and she was knowledgable, attentive, happy, and fun. We also loved the music playlist as it included lots of our favorite 80's and 90' s tunes. Can't wait to go back and the Neighborhood Table has become our favorite spot in the North Kingstown area.

Smoke Gouda Burger, perfect med. rare

My husband and I gave The Neighborhood Table a try thanks to the RI Food Fights Sandwich Showdown event. This restaurant is easy to navigate to and has a huge parking lot. When you step inside, you're met with nicely kept surfaces and decor. It seemed clean and I liked the vibe; casual, but still nice. There was some live music going on at The BAH, but we sat on the quiet side. Our server was also very friendly and brought us menus and water in a timely manner. I ordered the Smoked Gouda Burger and, I must say, I was rather impressed. I thought the bacon onion jam was super tasty, and I liked the fresh element brought in by the arugula. The bun held up and the sandwich stayed together until the last bite. The downside for me was the burger meat itself. while it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, it was very greasy. You could tell it was a pre-formed patty and likely had a high fat content. If this burger was a leaner hand-made patty, it would have leveled up the dish. But, towards the end of the meal, it left me feeling like I just ate something really unhealthy. However, flavors were still very good, service was solid, and atmosphere is universally pleasing. I think this is a good spot and I would eat here again with friends or family!

Great bar all very friendly! Service was excellent and very attentive! Food was very good and interesting menu with some diversity.

    Murder burger

Tried this place and found the murder burger. This burger is amazing. Hamburger, pulled ribs, friend onions, bacon, smoked gouda. Can't say enough about this!!! Sat at the "Bah" and your typical bar. Service was pretty good, wish i was told the full beer offerings instead of going off the menu. Place is nice and clean. Would definitely go back and try more.

So the only indication that this was indeed a food truck was the Sign on one side that said the name, but there was no menu on the truck or anything and I took me a few minutes to find one online as they do not have an actual webpage but they do have instagram & Facebook and they linked their menu to their Facebook! According to their Facebook it said Guatemalan inspired cuisine, which made me slightly nervous as I have really only had Mexican, South American, & several Spanish variations of "tacos & burritos" and was not a fan of the South American cuisine & some of the Spanish ones, but nonetheless I decided to give the Guatemalan infused food truck a chance! I ordered 3 beef tacos with cheese lettuce and sour cream for my son and I got the chicken and cheese quesadilla. The tidal was $29 which was a bit more expensive then I had anticipated but that was fine. It smelled delicious but my 7 years old was not eating this until we returned home! The wait was brutal- but once we finally got home- we dug in and to our surprise it was absolutely Delicious!!!! When I tell you the presentation was on point for the tacos, but it was the taste and the crispy shell that made these tacos absolutely delicious. My 7 year old son said these were some of the best tacos he had ever had & I AGREE! We ended up splitting each other's meals so he had a few quesadillas and I had a few tacos. We both loved them- but I preferred the crispy taco's to the quesadillas! The service was great and those at the window were super friendly! They texted me when my order was ready. I ended up looking at their Facebook and they apparently park in front of Bravo Brewing in Pascoag quite frequently! So if you live in northern RI & are looking for something delicious- you HAVE to try the tacos! They are amazing!! I would definitely order the tacos at least once a week!

Our waitress brought over water and chips and salsa and gave us a few moments to review the menu. We ordered drinks, a steak quesadilla, and the rib eye tacos and fish tacos. Food came out quick and the staff were incredibly attentive. The steak quesadilla was yummy but I wish they had the sour cream and salsa or something on the side for it.
