When it comes to car related things I want them to be fast, not stressful, and as inexpensive as possible (I have wine to buy). When it comes to oil changes speed is pretty much my number one concern. I am willing to wait 20 minutes, maybe...anything past that and I feel like I could watch a Youtube video and do it at home in less time (probably not true, but I'd like to think so). Normally I go to another instant oil change, or drop my car off at the place that's in the plaza with my gym while I'm there, but this particular day neither of those locations would be particularly convenient for my route, so I looked on Yelp and found the Oil Connection is pretty close to my house with great reviews, and the main thing that stood out was how many people mentioned how quick and efficient they are here. I arrived after work a little after 4pm. I wasn't quite sure how things would work here so I pulled up to park and go into the office, but they waved me around to pull right into the garage. Just like Valvoline I didn't even have to get out of my car. The guys were super friendly, asked what I wanted, and didn't try to up-sell me to synthetic oil (I know it has benefits, I'm just not really interested). Within five minutes my oil was changed, my fluids were topped off, and my tires had air...it was amazing. The pricing here is pretty reasonable too at $35 (and I didn't have to track down a coupon online like the chain places to get the price.) When I went to drive off the guys noticed my tire pressure light was still on and said that the sensors was broken (which I knew). They mentioned that they fix this there for $25 to diagnose the sensor then ~$125 to replace. I really could care less about that stupid little light, especially since my car is nearly ten years old, but it was nice to know the price, and I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me, just letting me know...no pressure. Given the proximity to my house, the speed, and how friendly the guys who work here are I think I've found my new favorite oil change spot. read more

We just moved to Florida so I bought my husband's car for a synthetic oil change. Charge was about $78.00 (close to what we paid for in CT). The tech was pleasant. I had to drive the car into the service bay (normally in CT., they drive it in for you). Being the klutz that I am, I was terrified that I would steer the wheel accidentally into the open bay, but I managed it. What bothered me is when the tech asked when I wanted the reminder check put on the windshield (i.e. how many miles before it says I need another oil change). He said 4,000 is a good guide. I then called our previous service station in CT., who stated a 100% synthetic oil change is usually good for 7,000 miles. Update: I took the car at the Lexus dealership to deal with a small recall a few days later. While there, the Asst. Service Manager at Lexus called me to let me know that the oil plug was not tightened properly and the car was leaking oil. He said it could have been catastrophic (especially if driving on the highway), but they caught it in time. They went ahead and tightened the oil plug. I have to say I'm pretty upset with Oil Connection. Had the oil leak not been caught by Lexus, it could have caused a huge accident or been a major repair bill for us. From now on, I'm sticking with the dealership for oil changes. read more

I have been here twice now and both times have been greeted kindly and serviced well but both times I have ended up extremely annoyed because they have not vacuumed my car both times. The first time it was my daughters car and I did not notice till I got home and it was too late to go back so I let it go. Today the same thing happened. I noticed after I left and since I was on my lunch break I did not have the time to return. The funny thing is that on both receipts it says the work was completed. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. I have been to other Jiffy Lubes and never had any issues at all. read more

While it's fast and convenient and yes friendly staff, I think they piled a fast one on me. I pulled in told them I was there for oil change and while I was asking some questions about a light and asking if they check other fluids blah blah blah they went ahead and did the oil change with out asking me what kind of oil or giving me an choice. So they charged $52.00. Pretty steep. Over my budget. I'm going in when I get back into town to see if they will give me a coupon for next visit or something but I feel swindled. read more

I have had my cars serviced at other companies, mainly as an urgency before an unexpected trip and what a disappointment! Here the staff is excellent, through and efficient. I just came here for an oil change, I brought my own oil and filter and they accepted it (not like others...) and came out with a great first impression from these guys. The service was fast, the owner was a great guy even gave me some great car advice (after the work was done of course). The rest of the employees are just as friendly. The price, wao, well since I brought my oil and filter it was cheaper than normal but if you use their oil it will not break your bank. Definitely recommend this place and will come back for my next oil change. read more

I will never go any place else, the staff is awesome and I couldn't ask for better service... all these other rude reviews sound like a whole bunch of people who have never been satisfied before... so they wouldn't understand satisfactory or quality service if it slapped them in the face! I love Oil connection my whole family has been coming here for over ten years.... they talk to you, fill your windshield wiper fluid, check and or fill your tires with air, vacuum your car, clean your windshield, and best of all even when they are slammed with customers they still have that one on one time with each individual customer.... if they charged me $100 for an oil change I would still continue coming because the service is perfection! Overpriced to begin with then on top of that they do not accept American Express credit cards, why? Because AMEX charges a few pennies more than Visa or Mastercard. The owners of this business are obviously penny wise and pound foolish since everyone knows people who pay with the AMEX card tend to spend more on goods and services. I can buy a cup of coffee and pay with my AMEX card but if i want to drop a hundred dollars on vehicle maintenance at this business they can't afford to accept my credit card. You have to ask yourself, if they can't accept the AMEX card, where else are they cutting corners? I wont go back! read more

Would have gotten 5 stars except for the fact that employee walked up to my car with a cigarette in his mouth to greet me and the smoke came into my car. Really? Ever hear of common courtesy? I just left Oil Connection with Matt and Mike , and they were awesome like always. They were honest and didn't try to push me into any extras like all the other companies I have been to. They explained what needed to be done, and asked what I would like. I left with a smile and a feeling like I got a job done by a competent group of guys who knew their business. Overpriced and horrible customer service. Went here because my friend got a great deal on a tire change. I was quoted one price and then charged $200 more at the end. This is after they lost my truck key and I had to leave my truck there over night and all day the next day. At first they tried to make me pay out of pocket to replace my $400 key fob. However, they ended up towing my truck to the dealership and having them make a new key fob. I understand accidents happen, but after the major inconvenience to my family and I, they offered no discount or remorse. My overall experience was stressful. Needless to say I do not recommend this business to anyone due to the carelessness and poor customer service. read more
