It's a small shop with just their products and no other items - which is perfect. They have samples of just oil and oil combined with the different balsamic vinegars. Okay so... this place is now one of my favorite places to go in Temecula. It's right around the corner from our winery so we thought to stop in. It is what it says it is-award winning olive oil and balsamic vinegar! I stumbled upon this hidden gem and was very pleased. They had individual samples in mini cups for people to try. I purchased their original olive oil and their truffle balsamic vinegar. It was very nice to see the olive trees surrounding the shop which was beautifully decorated. I also really liked the cranberry balsamic vinegar but decided to purchase that the next time I go back to Temecula. I can't stress how much more delicious the freshly made olive oil and vinegar arecompared to those store-bought even from high end markets like Whole Foods and Bristol Farms, much like the wine in the region. Our stop at this lovely spot was spontaneous but definitely did not disappoint. We were accommodated as soon as we arrived and the owner was very lovely. She gave us a handful of samples to taste, mainly their olive oil which is milled on site, along with mixtures of various types of balsamic vinegar that they import from Italy. She taught us how to properly taste and judge the quality of olive oil and was very patient informative throughout the whole activity. Although we were not able to take a tour of the farm and facility, it was still a great experience in such a quaint and gorgeous location. read more

Went to their tasting in the wineries, not downtown. Loved the vibe of the buildings, but the tastings are outside under tent with small chairs. If it hot, oh no and no bathrooms. Then they take you into small store if you want to buy. A little underwhelming. Could be so much nicer. Not sure if they are building a tasting room. We had 3 cooking moms in the car who saw olive oil tasting between our wine tasting ventures, and ever so quickly did we identify the entrance!!! Super friendly, I saw their signs out on the main road and needed to pop in quickly to buy a gift for someone. I let them know I was in a hurry and was whisked into the tasting room where I took one sip of the truffle balsamic blended with a little of their standard olive oil and was instantly captivated. My favorite olive oil of all time. You are missing out on something special if you haven't visited!!

I started to purchase quality EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) last year after reading "Real food/fake food" by Olmsted. Since then I have purchased and tested olive oils from reputable companies such as Vom Fass, Oliviers & Co, from North California, and the other major Temecula olive oil seller. I was only in Temecula for the day (Sunday) so I called the olive plantation to ask if I can pick up a bottle and Lori got back to me and said she'll have one packed for me to pick up. I appreciated that they could accommodate my last minute request. Packaging: I love the look of the slim bottle and the vintage label. It's beautiful! I would like to suggest adding the harvest date to the best by date. Taste: Their oil is very fresh, with the signature bitter/peppery note of desirable olive oil. Theirs is slightly grassy, though my personality preference is for a stronger grassy profile. Good EVOO isn't cheap. The Olive plantation's olive oil is good and it's even better given the price point. It was $20 for 375 ml when I bought it. Lastly, and this is something I haven't seen others do, is that they have their olive oil analysis results on their website. For someone who does research, I love that bit of added information. If you're in the area, check them out! I would grab another bottle if I'm in Temecula again. read more

We found the oil plantation when driving by to a neighboring vineyard and decided to swing by when we had some free time. It was a rainy weekend so I was glad I called beforehand to check their availability on a Saturday when they said they were currently closed due to weather but if we were out of town (which we were) they they would be able to fit us in for a tasting within an hour which we agreed upon. We showed up a few minute shy of our agreed upon time however the property quickly buzzed us into the gate and had our tasting set up. The owner had 5-6 tastings set up for us ranging from their house blend olive oil to various balsamic blends with their house blends which they outsource. They have a premium olive oil that was sold out so we only got to try their house blend which was gorgeous. The other balsamics where so yummy as they had a 10 year blend, truffle, cranberry and peach white. We couldn't decide between anything so we ended up deciding on one of each balsamic and two olive oils. This place does not disappoint and the owner is so friendly and accommodating. Please give this place a shot as it is so delicious!! read more

Out for some wine today with friends and saw the olive oil sign from the road. Cute little tasting room, oils are in small plastic containers to sample (outside because of Covid restrictions) I bought both of the olive oils and all three of the vinegars. Stoped on our way home and grab a baguette, wow the oil was amazing. Tried the award winning olive oil and all three vinegars and loved everyone of them. I was visiting CA and my brother took us to Temecula and we went to the Olive Plantation, which were closed and opened a bit earlier so we could have a tasting of their fine products. I was first skeptical because it was an oil tasting, but little did I know how exciting and interesting all the variety of taste and I savior them all. The one I am hooked to is "Just dress it" I use it for everything and my brother has had to ship me a couple, because I cannot buy them online. Wow it gives food an upgrade to the taste. After this first trip, we went again three times before leaving CA. All their products are amazing, the truffle vinegar, the virgin olive oil, the olives with garlic, I mean all their products are excellent choice and sad that we do not have them closer.
