We loved being able to get in line on Yelp app without being at the restaurant. That saved our wait time! Remember to check in at the host stand once you arrive. These are the greatest pancakes on earth. I also loved the skillet and felt like it was a ton of food. Service was good and it's a nice restaurant with good service.

Staple American breakfast items! Simple and perfectly executed. Thick cut crispy/chewy bacon, over easy eggs, hash browns, scrambled eggs, pancakes. The **Banana Foster French Toast** was the standout! 12/10. Subtly sweet with a delicious banana sauce. Do not be adventurous and get the Greek Omelette. There is a quarter pound of feta cheese in there and it is so overwhelming lol. The omelette is super fluffy, which was not actually a good thing, it had a weird cake texture with crisp edges which I did not enjoy. Made fun of my sister for ordering that omelette during our entire breakfast haha. Our server was casual and sweet and gave us a coffee refill togo! I also loved that she asked if I wanted hot sauce because I definitely did and almost forgot. Very nice location, spacious and well decorated. Very clean.

The Original Pancake House is an extremely popular place. If you're visiting on a weekend, plan on waiting quite a while. Their omelette tastes really good and is a really big portion size. I thought their pancakes were OK. The syrup has a maple syrup taste which I'm not a fan of. There is a yelp waitlist. Their menu is fairly large with quite a few gluten-free options.

Always a good time at the pancake house. I wish they had more large/mixture plates, but still love the pancakes. My daughter loved her chocolate chip smiley face pancakes. I got scrambled eggs, sausage links and pancakes. My husband got the largest plate they offer. Our waiter was nice even though we stayed until they closed.

We happened to be in Sandy this morning and discovered this restaurant in Sandy. We had been to the location in Lehi many times, and enjoyed it immensely, so we assumed that the Sandy restaurant would be equivalent to Lehi's. I really want to give the restaurant a good review but I just can't today. Don't get me wrong, the food was fantastic as usual, but the service, not even passable for poor. We waited an inordinate amount of time for the meals to begin with. Then as the meals were delivered, my wife requested ketchup. The waitress told us she would be right back with it. I am sorry to say that the food was cold by the time the ketchup arrived. The soda nor the water were refilled at all. The cups that were used are small to begin with. We didn't see our server after the ketchup delivery until we flagged her down for our check. The ambiance was great, as expected. I hate to leave a bad review because we love the food. I will never go to the Sandy location again.

I understood their locations only exist closer to the east half of the country, and was quite sad to know it'll likely be a very long time before I'll ever get the experience. Well that *was* until my good friend recommended the local diner Belgian Waffle & Omelet Inn which actually achieves everything I could ever want from a Waffle House! The food is actually amazing, and clearly made with love! I got their garlic burger which was just incredible, served with a generous portion of delicious fries! and my friend got huge stack of pancakes topped with ice cream and fresh fruit that I tried a little of and also adored! We also both had their raspberry lemonade, and I got an extra side of sausages. It was all so amazing. and even tho I saw the pricing on the menu, I was honestly expecting to spend about double what I actually paid (I seem to have generous rounded up too much in my head). I was frankly shocked the final bill was only $26! I felt like I was robbing them! I made sure to leave a large tip. The place was very clean and has a nice cozy atmosphere, and the staff were all so kind! I even received a compliment from one of the staff who's a Studio Ghibli fan and loved my soot sprite pin. I could go on and on about how this is easily one of my new favorite restaurants I'll be going to any time I get the munchies and want some comfort food, or whenever I'm really hungover and just need a quiet, gentle atmosphere where I can feel like a character in Twin Peaks. (My enthusiasm for this place is on par with Agent Dale Cooper.) I seriously can't recommend all of this enough. I'm shocked it exists, and frankly feel a sense of guile in knowing it's too good for Salt Lake City. I'm not religious, but I've now found heaven.

Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. So I think in talking to most of my friends I got a good view on the food, and presentation. I had a starter of Totchos, and the Beef Dipper for my entrée. Both were excellent, I shared my Totchos. These are tater tot nachos, they were excellent, normally I don't like cheese sauce on Nachos, but given the consistency and flavor of this sauce (house made, I'm guessing. Not canned) They were excellent. The Beef Dipper and Au Jus, also top notch! Generally in a French dip, there is a lot of fatty pieces, this was not that. Also at my table was the Chile Verde bowl, this one has a kick... but my friend having it really enjoyed it. The fish and chips was great, smelled fresh. Lets talk about the sides. Choice of Fries (appeared to be battered fries, always a favorite of mine.) Tots, or house made potato chips. I had the Potato Chips with mine, these were excellent, crisp and tender on the inside. The Athena (Lamb Burger) got rave reviews from one at the table The Service: Because we were in a large group they advised us they were going to be taking our orders as we came in so not to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Excellent communication throughout service given that we were a large group. I talked to one of the Owners, Laurie, I could tell she had a huge sense of pride in the place. Very friendly! The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.
