YUM!!! Oyster Bar is delicious and worth the hype (and line)! As someone from San Francisco, it's surprising to find that Las Vegas may have one of the best seafood restaurants. My friends and I came to the Durango location to avoid the longer lines at Palace Station but still had to wait a bit over an hour at 10 PM before we were seated. As the name implies, it's a bar so seating is minimal. I would avoid coming here with a large group because it's likely that you will be seated at very different times. We ordered: 1. House oysters (5/10) -- these were just ok and too large without much flavor 2. Shrimp scampi (7.5/10) -- delicious but nothing out of the ordinary 3. Alaskan clam chowder, dirty style (9.5/10) -- SO GOOD and full of seafood, maybe even my favorite clam chowder of all time? 4. Durango pan roast (8/10) -- this was the last item so maybe I would have rated it higher if it came first, but this was still delicious and full of seafood, chicken, and sausage Our server had forgotten to input our 3 pan roasts and we had waited so long that we digested and were full before we realized they had forgotten. We ended up reducing the order to only 1 pan roast for the 3 of us to share which was more than enough after all the other dishes. If you're in Vegas, I'd recommend making the trek out here (or to any other location).

The linguine with clams was so tasty and delicious! I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back just to have it. I just think they should add more linguine to the dish. Arrived before midnight and there was only two people in line luckily for us. Right afterwards a long line formed. There was a long wait to which was annoying but it was worth the wait.

I brought some pan roast back for my daughter when I came is September. She requested this as her first meal in Vegas when she turned 21. I've been a longtime fan of the Palace Station Oyster Bar. Durango has shorter lines, but I've seen them growing longer, now that more people are becoming more aware that there's a new location. Oysters are fresh. Pan Roast is a must. My favorite is the Durango Pan Roast- I usually go for spice level 5 or 6. The gumbo is pretty good too. Not overly salty. You can't go wrong with Clam chowder either. The last time I went Brian took care of us. You da man, Brian!

We lucked out because we only had to be in line for 20 mins. The servers are lovely the service was promt and the food was flavorful. It's a good alternative to the one at Palace station

Great date night spot! The oysters were fresh, the Alaskan clam chowder and cioppino were both delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. We waited about 30 minutes for a spot, but it was definitely worth it. Enjoyed a couple of beers, great seafood, and a wonderful evening. We'll be back!

We totally lucked out and arrived when there was no line, a rare occurrence for the Oyster Bar at Durango Casino & Resort. Everything we ordered hit the spot. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and comforting, the pan roast (spicy level 7) was packed with flavor, and the gumbo had just the right amount of spice and depth. Even the salad was fresh and well done. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered extra clam chowder and shrimp scampi to take back with us. Friendly service, excellent seafood, and absolutely worth stopping by if you can catch it without the long wait.

OK, I've heard about this place but was so excited to try the oyster bar at the Durango Hotel in Las Vegas. This might sound crazy, but this was a dining experience that I just didn't expect there are only 15 seats in the restaurant which looks more like a circle oyster bar. The line gets extensive, but it's so much worth the wait. I recommend checking out the menu so that by the time you are seated you know exactly what you want. We tried the raw oysters which were high quality and ordered the shrimp pan roast and also the gumbo. Both are accompanied with rice. We scooped out bowls into the rice so that any leftovers we could take and it would feel soupy Another reason why this place was so cool is that as you're watching the chefs make everybody's meals it almost becomes a dining show. Very interactive and friendly.

Located in the Durango casino off the strip towards the back with all the other restaurants. Great ambience to eat away from all the casino cigarette smoke. Wait was about 20 minutes, I think they have around 20 seats. The pan roast was awesome. I got the pan roast with chicken, andouille sausage, crab, and shrimp. Lots of tomato goodness kept me full. Also had bread service. For the amount you get the price was awesome. Definitely try this new location for pan roast!

We arrived on Saturday at 5:24pm, and we were seated at 5:48pm. There was about 8 people (4 groups of two) in front of us. We were pleasantly surprised that it was only a 24 minute wait on a Saturday. We immediately sat and were greeted with warm bread and butter. We ordered a Kirin bottle, and a Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat draft. Then I ordered some oysters, the Durango Pan Roast, and my partner got the bouillabaisse. There was a small mix up because I had originally ordered half a dozen oysters on the half shell and when I was ordering I quickly switched to a dozen, then inquired about the Chef's featured oysters and ultimately decided on the dozen of oysters on the half shell. When the food arrived, I received half a dozen and I asked "didn't I order a dozen?" The waitress said no I ordered the half, and then wanted the Chef's then I went back to the half. However, my partner also heard me order the full dozen. At the end of the day, our waitress asked if we wanted to switch to a full dozen and we said no it was okay. I personally just would have approached it differently and would have said "maybe I heard you wrong" rather than just accusing me of being wrong, but to each their own. Additionally, I did not find the oysters to be that tasty. Both my partner and I agreed that the oysters tasted like water (not buttery, salty, or really anything). We will skip on this next time. Another gripe I had, was the place probably seats about 15-20 people, so you're packed in there like sardines. I did see there was a 2 entree limit per person, and I'm guessing this is why. I felt pretty confined, but I think it's just part of the experience. However, the reason I'm still giving this place five stars, regardless of the above paragraphs is because the pan roast tasted like a warm hug. It was very comforting, and flavorful. I would go back just for the pan roast. I personally got a spice level of 2 and it was perfect. I also tried my partner's bouillabaisse and the seafood tasted fresh, and the broth was extremely light. This meal would have been fantastic in the winter on a cold night. Overall - the wait time, paired with the quality of food, and the friendliness of all the staff members was an extremely positive experience, and I know I will be dreaming about that pan roast for years to come.

I've visited this oyster bar a few times now but hadn't gotten around to writing a review until now. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and surprisingly, the line wasn't long at all. My friends and I only waited about 15-20 minutes before being seated. Once we sat down, our server, Grace, helped us right away and was attentive throughout the entire meal. The complimentary bread wasn't our favorite--it was a bit too hard for our taste--but everything else made up for it. We started with half a dozen of the chef's featured oysters, which were fresh and delicious. For our main entrée, we ordered the combo with shrimp, lobster, and crab, and added sausage. I chose a spice level of 6/10, and it was absolutely perfect. This place easily has the best pan roast in town packed with flavor and served in a generous portion. I always request Chef Bobby when I visit. He has exceptional customer service, is always smiling, and cooks everything quickly and perfectly. Chef Vee is also fantastic they both create a fun, engaging atmosphere and really connect with customers. That level of interaction truly sets this place apart from other oyster bars in Vegas. Grace, our server, was amazing as well she consistently checked in on us and made sure we were taken care of. It's honestly impressive how well they operate with such a small team. There's almost always a line whenever you walk by, which says a lot. I would definitely recommend the oyster bar at Durango!

Finally got to try this place after years of attempting to go but the line ending up to be too long. And it did not disappoint!!! The oysters were so fresh and juicy, the pan roast was EXTREMELY flavorful and the gumbo was nice and beefy. Both the pan roast and gumbo were packed with proteins. We ended up sharing the pan roast and taking the entire bowl of gumbo home. Our server Grace and chef Bobby were amazing and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. Pro tip: order the lava sauce to add to your food for a more garlicky and spicy kick.

The CLASSIC Linguine with Clams in Red Sauce! So incredibly good!
    Christian A.

I've returned as a regular customer and will be back again today. The amazing Linguine with Clams and Red Sauce has been restored, and the original version is back! I couldn't be happier. A big sign of professionalism in business is establishing a legendary product or service... which is what the Oyster bar has done with this particular dish. Yes, innovation and trying new things are part of the process... but when that doesn't work out, admitting when something doesn't resonate as hoped, and reversing the misstep is how you keep customers smiling. I should mention that a HUGE reason this restaurant is so successful is that the staff is AWESOME. The wait staff, hostesses, and chefs are all customer-oriented and are 50 percent of the pleasure of coming here. Thanks so much!

Craving a pan roast, so we had to check out the Oyster Bar at Durango Casino & Resort. If you know Vegas, you know the Stations casinos each have their own version of the iconic Oyster Bar and this one definitely holds its own. When we walked in, the bar looked pretty full at first, but I immediately spotted four empty seats tucked away in the corner (Vegas luck was on our side ). The customer service was friendly from the start, and shout out to Bobby for making our experience fantastic. Behind the counter, Bobby was doing his thing straight up making magic. We ordered the pan roast loaded with sausage, crab, shrimp, and lobster. Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned. The kind of dish that pulls you in from the first bite and doesn't let go. It's hearty, indulgent, and absolutely worth every spoonful. It's honestly hard to describe unless you've had one before. But if you haven't? Do yourself a favor and head down to Durango Casino Resort and get that pan roast. You'll get it after the first bite.

We came in on a Sunday with a party of six and were seated without any issues. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming--nothing too loud or chaotic, just a chill vibe that made it easy to enjoy our meal and conversation. I personally ordered the Personal Combo, which was a great deal for the price. It came with 1/2 lb of shelled, head-on shrimp, 1/2 lb of crawfish, 1/2 lb of mussels, plus one corn and one potato. You get to choose one sauce and one spice level, and the total was under $30, which is very reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality of the seafood. Everything was cooked well and seasoned nicely. The sauce was a bit thicker than what I've had at other seafood boil places, but honestly, I didn't mind it at all--it coated the seafood perfectly and had great flavor. The rest of our group ordered a variety of items, including fries, chicken wings, calamari, and pounds of shrimp, clams, and crab legs. Everyone was happy with their food, and there were no leftovers by the end of the meal, which says a lot. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was another highlight of our visit. Huge shout-out to our servers, Shainna and Ivonne, who were attentive, friendly, and made sure our table was taken care of the entire time. They checked in on us often, answered questions, and kept everything running smoothly, especially with a larger group. Overall, this spot checks all the boxes--great food, fair prices, chill atmosphere, and excellent service. The comedy lineup was amazing and honestly made the whole experience so fun and memorable. Even though they forgot one of our food orders and no water was served to our table or follow-up was made to check if we needed anything afterwards, we still had a really good time because the atmosphere and performances were enjoyable. The reason I removed one star was not because of the comedians or the show itself, but due to an uncomfortable interaction regarding one of the tickets. Another group of BTS fans had an extra ticket they couldn't use, so they kindly gave it to my cousin rather than letting it go to waste. While I completely understand if the policy did not allow the extra ticket to be honored, the situation could have been handled more respectfully. Unfortunately, the Filipino lady working there (possibly a server or owner, though I'm not entirely sure) made us feel as though we were not being truthful about where the ticket came from, even after we explained that it had been given to us by another group who could not use it. A little more understanding and professionalism in that interaction would have made the experience much better overall. Before the show: Love the whole atmosphere and the food options , not to mention they did a remix of food choices so nothing can go wrong. Service was quick in the beginning and they were able to accommodate our group so quickly. I'll update more because we are about to watch the show that came with our bts ticket . Walked in to a Bob Marley "Waiting in Vain" cover and already knew the atmosphere was gonna be solid. Didn't even realize they had Filipino dishes on the menu so we had to try the pork sisig. As a Filipino, I'd say it was good, just a little sweeter and heavier on the mayo than what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. We got Combo 1 with 1lb shrimp and 1/2lb crab legs in the signature Cajun medium sauce plus a side of the Cajun coconut sauce. The Cajun coconut was easily the winner for me, actually so good. Shrimp was a little overcooked and harder to peel, but overall still hit the spot. Added one of each add-on too. For starters, the chili BBQ seasoned fries instantly reminded me of Potato Corner, so now I know where to fix that craving late night. The ceviche was also surprisingly one of the better ones I've had, super flavorful and a solid portion for 2 people. Drinks were the lychee margarita and passion fruit margarita, both really good. Only downside was the drinks took a while and we had to remind our waitress since our food came out before they did. Overall though, the atmosphere, music, food variety, and late night vibe definitely made this place worth it. Would come back again!

Our expectations usually is by price, we're not elevated foodie type for fancier dining experiences unless it's for the entertainment of it, etc. We like city versions of hole in the wall, ghetto fab, semi-purist, daily casual and sometimes clearner types of food. So this place fits the daily casual place to eat at. If you're looking for more perfection in dishes, there's tons of other places to line up and pay higher prices for in Vegas. For those coastal city ppl even coming from NY NY, where the norm for casual/mid tier least westernized sushi places costing easily $100ish per person (less than $100 per person), this place could be an alternative for you. Ppl coming from big city super suburbs, towns/no where towns (local vegas is more of a town, not city) then of course this place will be awesome no matter what due to lack of resources and exposure in one's area. Shoutout to the team who makes it worth it to constantly visit, make us feel at ease and special with take outs to welcoming tourist friends/family...Noelle, Dillon, Natalia, Sophia!! Thank you!!

We ordered spider roll, it was a little disappointing, the sushi roll kept falling apart, the taste was good and the cream was crunchy. The tofu was ok. And the tempura bowl was ok. We have an attentive staff in spite of a busy night. Plenty of parking but it can get harder especially when the restaurant is full. Ambiance was casual and noise level was a little on the louder side.

Other Mama definitely qualifies as a hidden gem! A group of four of us visited during Restaurant…read moreWeek. Don't let the location or exterior fool you, it's actually a very nice restaurant with a lovely interior once you go in. The cocktail selection is great and pretty reasonable for Vegas. All of us were quite happy with our selections. I opted for the restaurant week menu, while my friends ordered off the regular menu. The restaurant week menu had 4 courses for $60, so it was a great value, but prices are very reasonable regardless. My favorite dishes were the Korean fried chicken and the wagyu skewers (my friend ordered this). They have a robust sushi selection as well, and everything tasted fresh and was prepared with care. Service was excellent as well! This is a restaurant where you could come back again and again to sample everything on the menu.

Visited several times the past few years and they never disappoint each time. Allen is a sake…read moresommelier and knows his stuff. Ask him to make u a drink and you will love it. The food is top tier and he explains every dish being served. They have the freshest seafood and check out their specials which change from time to time. They have fresh wasabi which is rare in Vegas. Their housemade soy sauce goes with everything even ice cream! We had the lamb which is not gamey, part of their specials. The skewers are a must! Chef SJ recently joined the team and we also tried his food before, really good. My fave is the ocean trout crudo which they top with hot oil, not to be missed. I'm not a fan of oysters but theirs made me love it. Check it out of you haven't
