Went there recently for the fried oysters. Now, I know a good fried oyster when I taste one and the oysters I got at The Palace were completely devoid of flavor. I tried adding salt, pepper, even cocktail sauce and it was still flavorless. Plus it didn't taste fresh. The green beans looked and tasted like they came from a can. The coleslaw was okay, but then again, how can you mess up coleslaw. The best thing about my meal was the crab soup, but the oysters should have been the star of the meal, not the soup. Our waitress, while friendly and personable, forgot to give my girlfriend and I napkins and silverware; we had to ask for them. The bread was delivered to our table after we finished our dinner. What? The food was not fresh or good and I felt like it was a complete waste of money. I'll be sure to never eat there again. There are much better places to eat fried oysters at. When called they said that is what the girl who took the order wrote down so that is what we got. No "come back and get the right order" ...nothing, they could care less. This place was a shame. Tasteless pizza, cheap frozen food. I asked simple questions and I asked for no onions on my pizza. After waiting 40 minutes for my food, on a slow evening, I decided to leave. The server considered that she was too smart to put the order on the paper and of course she came back with a wrong order. Also the place was mostly empty and they squeezed all the people on one section, which is stupid. Manager needs to be fired and they need a new team over there. On the way down to OCMD, my family and I decided to grab a bite here. We've passed it quite a few times but never made the trip in. The parking lot isn't big and it's easy to miss the entrance. The hostess quickly sat us and we waited about 3/4 minutes for our server to come over. She seemed quite busy so it was understandable. Our drinks came quickly. She was helpful in pointing out some favorites. The menu is a bit extensive so it was a little overwhelming. Food: the kids split spaghetti and a BIG meatball. My kids aren't the biggest eaters but it was a big portion perfect for them to split. My husband got a wrap, which was rather big. I just got a roast beef and cheese sandwich. It was piled high with meat and cheese. The bread was a bit on the dry side but still sufficed. Prices are hard to beat here. Super cheap and huge portions. Definitely worth stopping in. read more

If you're just passing through, don't pass up this place. I had the salmon oscar. It came stuffed with a delightful creamy sauce and well-cooked asparagus on top. I also had the crab soup. It was thick and delicious and the garlic bread was perfectly seasoned and ripe for dipping. While I was waiting for my to-go, I had a drink at their charming bar. It was made just right. Even the side of chunky applesauce was a treat for my pallet. The only think I didn't like was the spiced shrimp. They were missing something - butter and more spice. It's Milford, so maybe I shouldn't expect much. I feel like they don't use quality products. Pizza sauce was too sweet. Bread for fish sandwich was basic bread and the fries were cheap, soggy and had a barely cooked taste. Even the ketchup was generic. Ordered a Sprite (was probably a generic version too) it was sooo sweet. Gross. Our server was nice but she barely came around. Ambiance is nice, sadly this is probably fine dining in this area. We've been going to the Palace at least monthly for about a year now. Always order the same thing, (him salmon Oscar, me crab balls), both meals have been shrinking in portion size smaller and smaller every visit. Our last visit on Sunday, I went with the crab cake instead of the crab balls... Seemed to be slightly more filler than the balls, but definitely more bang for your buck! Wait staff always gives A+ service! I will say that they have a beautiful outside seating area, but it's never offered when requesting a table. Maybe next time I'll ask to be seated outside if it's nice out. read more

I've ordered from here a few times now and it's just disappointing. It's pretty much my only option for pizza delivery and their pizza is the equivalent of bowling alley/skate rink pizza. Changed from 3 stars to 4. We went again and my boyfriend had the chicken noodle soup and a burger. The soup was very good and homemade! The burger was delicious! Soft burger bun, and the meat was perfectly grilled and seasoned! Also, the prices are reasonable, especially the burger at $5.99 is totally worth it! Amazing food... This place never disappoints and the cost is really reasonable. The last time I was there I had A meatloaf dinner that was better than mom's. Honestly the service is excellent and they have a bar in addition to the restaurant itself. You can get nearly anything you want and the desserts are to die for! I just had some rice pudding here recently that was excellent! Wanted to say that these folks were very helpful recently when I forgot my receipt. Great food, HUGE menu to choose from everyone can find something that they like there! It's our go to Milford restaurant! The fried flounder is incredible I get it every time I go! The outdoor dining is great they have a beautiful patio out back! And a big plus is they're very accommodating to large parties which is very helpful. read more

They can never get my take out order right. There is always something wrong or missing. Today the dressing was missing but the sauce I specifically said I didn't want was included and the cannoli cake I ordered turned out to be chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I usually only order from there if I can pick it up myself to double check the order but my grandson went today and it was wrong. Has gone down hill! Stromboli & cheese pizza were burnt & they don't know how to make a white pizza! Won't be back!

1st and foremost it was dirty. After such a major renovation the front entrance shouldn't be dingy. There was a broken ashtray and the whole front needed to be hosed down and swept. Next-the inside was dirty. It looked like an overly wet mop was slung around the dining room and the water was left to dry, leaving puddle marks. The edges weren't clean. The table was tacky as were the salt, pepper and cheese. My sisters glass of coke had a lemon seed in the bottom, that she discovered when she sucked it up through her straw. She hadn't put lemon in her drink! YUK! I ordered the "ravioli with meatballs" special. I expected a plate of ravioli with a reasonable amount of sauce and 2 or 3 meatballs. The cold ravioli were stuck together in the bottom of the bowl, after they had sat for awhile, a way too sweet tomato sauce was ladled over them, topped with enough cheese to make a pizza, then finished off under the broiler. I didn't order a parmesan dish. It was really bad-greasy, overly sweet and rubbery. The single giant meatball, tasted like it was 100% Italian sausage. Not a fan of Italian sausage, not what I ordered. Both dinner salads had some wilted lettuce mixed through. Another member of the party ordered a slice of pizza. She was told they didn't make slices at that time but she could order an individual pizza. She did. It was a joke. She swears it was a thin crust frozen pie, except the sauce was too sweet, just like the ravioli, so it was probably freshly made. My sister will be writing her own review about her seafood platter. Lastly, the worst part is the ladies room. This is a pretty big restaurant. There are 2 stalls and 1 sink in the ladies room. The space is so small that you can barely move. It was also dirty. There wasn't any toilet paper. When told, the person at the front desk said there was a roll on the floor. She moved it to the back of the toilet and left. It was sopping wet from being on the floor! There's also a sewer smell in that area. The 1st time you think someone just caused the odor but it is always there. We loved this place, even had our brothers funeral luncheon there. The last 3-4 times have been really bad. I don't know what happened but we won't be back. It has become all you can eat buffet quality, except you can't ditch it and go try something else if it's not good. read more

Had a late lunch Saturday afternoon here. I've been to pizza palace locations in the past. This one was a lil different inside as well as having more detailed menus. Very nice inside and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a salad and I ordered the small size and it was huge...so good value for sure! The bf ordered soup and a sandwich. He ordered pea & dumpling soup and a grilled cheese. He enjoyed the meal but paid for it later. Overall visit was good. The entry way/foyer where the host/hostess greets you was blazing hot. Some sort of a/c issue. If they had been busy ... I'd have left. Way too hot out there! The food was good and priced accordingly. Seems like a place id have gone for dinner instead of lunch. Again expansive menu... Update 1/25/17 I've had at least 5 meals here since this original review. The service has been lackluster at best, the food disturbing. They are always out of menu items. And don't think you will get out quickly. They have you wait at the register for 10-15 to pay your check. You sent a priority there EVER. Not going back. Plus it's my understanding from a mutual friend that if you send food back the "do something" to it. Yikes! read more

The Milford Pizza Palace, November 15, 2018. We were a party of five. We all ordered from the Specials Menu. Two of us ordered the Ocean Trou (not my typo), two had Turkey and Dressing and one had Alfredo over Angel Hair. No one was impressed. The fish were fishy and full of bones. The side of cole slaw was inedibly sweet and the side of pickled beets was tasteless. I asked that my meal be replaced by the Shrimp and Chicken Stir Fry, which they did. I got four good sized shrimp and two pieces of chicken in a murky and salty sauce over gooey rice. The few vegetables that came with it were overcooked to the extent that the pea pods had separated from the peas. The turkey and dressing came as shredded turkey over gravied croutons - an unusual presentation. Although the portions were large, they were only mediocre. The service was fair but the cashier was, for some unknown reason, quite grouchy. There were a lot of people there, so the food seems to have appeal for some folks, but we were not among them.
