We got a deep dish pizza (1/2 Pan Deluxe + 1/2 Chicken Alfredo). I am so annoyed with this place! This is the 2nd time I ordered take out and because my food was cold last time I picked up, I arrived 20 minutes BEFORE my pickup time to hopefully avoid this and my food was still COLD!! They had it waiting there without notifying that it was ready for who knows how long. How do you heat up eggs without overcooking them?? You can't! There are 2 locations for The Pan, but the Gardena one seems to have less of a wait. This location also takes online and phone reservations too unlike the Redondo Beach location, which is why my boyfriend and I come here like every month for carb-loading. :D But don't get me wrong, I've been to the Redondo Beach location too and it's a different vibe but still great as well. Their brunch food is heaven. Pancakes, hashbrown, fried chicken and waffles. Everything you eat here will make you feel like you're in heaven. Not to mention, the service here is A+. When it comes to breakfast places that are unfamiliar from home away from home, I am always asking my cousins their go-to spots & they took me to the location on Western Ave. I thought to myself, if there's a long wait & they're willing to wait for more than 30 minutes for breakfast, it must be good. I did not know The Pan has more than 2 locations, luckily my friend wanted breakfast before going to the StubHub Center & this location was less than 10 minutes away. I was trying to figure out a back up in case this place had a wait. There was NO wait for a Saturday morning & we were seated right away. Ordered the loaded hash browns & it was exactly how I remembered it. The waitress asked if I was okay with the aioli sauce on it & I said, of course! That's the best part! Idk why others would exclude it, but there is a reason why it is "loaded." Hash browns under all the eggs, sausage, bacon, & cheese & then some. Not your ordinary hash browns smothered with aioli. I've tried the Cinnamon roll pancakes & this time around I went for "the best ever" banana pancakes. The one thing I should've asked was to put the butter on the side cause they dabbed a lot on it. Other than that, sweet, fluffy pancakes were good with the fresh bananas & walnuts. I do not usually like walnuts. Service: Our waitress was super sweet! Our food was served in a short amount of time & we were out of there within an hour or so. Fast paced, great food, & good service. I love how the owners of the Pan expanded and opened up a Pick up/ Delivery spot just for their pizza. Super convenient for everyone else since the Pan on Western is always busy :) Hands down the best pizza shop in Gardena! Very impressed with the quality and the service for being a To Go spot. The crust was light yet crispy on the outside. The sauce was really flavorful-- it was probably the highlight of the pizza. Customer service was unsatisfactory. I asked if they could change my house potatoes to fresh fruit and they wanted to charge me additional because they had brought the house potatoes with the meal. I had not ate any of them at all and their was an option between choosing the potatoes or fruit. If this is how you treat your customers I will definitely not be coming back. As time flew by the restaurant improved a whole lot! From my first experience of this newer location it didn't seem like they were doing too well but as expected, they got better with time! I actually prefer to come to this location over the one on western because it is more spacious and usually less busy than the other location. The food at the Pan on Western is great, so we tried the new location on Artesia. The food was great but the service was horrible. When we got there, it was not crowded at all. Only 2 other tables were occupied. The staff couldn't care less about the customers. I had to get up from our table 3 times to find someone to take our order, bring our check and get a leftovers box. 2 servers and a guy at the register. All pretty unaware of their jobs and couldn't care less about customer service. When we left, I told the guy at the register our service was absolutely horrible. He didn't even make eye contact with me. I will advise friends to avoid this place until changes are made. Send in a secret shopper in and you'll see what I mean! read more

I only traveled to this location because the wait was ridiculously long for breakfast on Friday, May 15th. When arriving to this location, there was no one to greet customers. I had to walk over to the register to ask to be seated. It took another 15 minutes before someone came over and seated us. Add to that another 30 minutes before a waiter came by to take our order. The lukewarm, bland food finally arrived 30 minutes later. I ordered The Pan's Skillet scramble - the eggs were completely overcooked. OVERCOOKED EGGS! WHY? It looked like someone cooked my eggs on the side of the hot Vegas road. Disgusting. My friend ordered the Loaded Hashbrowns. They were soggy as hell. I have only two complaints about this place. 1. Really long wait for a group of six (30 minutes) 2. Way too many choices. You either have to make a tough decision or you overindulge. Me personally, I chose to overindulge. I got the pastrami and egg sandwich and the banana pancakes. The pastrami and egg sandwich was amazing. Stacked pastrami on rye bread with a slice of Swiss cheese and an over medium egg. Absolutely delicious, messy, and worth it. The banana pancakes were good, less of a banana flavor and more of a cinnamon roll flavor but still very flavorful and tasty even without any syrup on them. My wife had the meat lovers omelet. She said it was delicious, the only complaint she had is that it had at time an overpowering taste of garlic. Food was on point as usual. Wish I could've sat down, but do to Covid-19 I understand. Ordering was quick and easy(I ordered when I got there). Staff was very pleasant and patient with indecision of what to order as I was trying to order something different than my usual lumberjack breakfast. I decided on the breakfast burrito so that I could knock it out while driving. It was a "hitter", I'll def order this again. The thing had everything but the kitchen sink in it!!..Also bought a do it yourself pizza. I had them put all my favorites on half and the other half double pepperoni. Jenny, with red hair also known as the Host, was quite rude, not accommodating and had such an attitude. Look out for her, she has a neck tattoo. The Pan no matter which location is definitely the place to go for delicious food. There are so many options that the only downside is making a decision. The Guava cream pancakes is to DIE for!! I swear one day I will try other flavors but for now I'm absolutely hooked on Guava. The serving size is definitely enough for two ppl to share. Finally got to try this place after my boyfriend kept recommending this place to me, and I'm so glad I did. Came here around afternoon time and it was only around a 15 minute wait. You can also check in to waitlist via yelp and just give your name at the door. I got the meat lovers omelette which came with potatoes and a side of toast, but you can upgrade to waffle, french toast, or specialty pancakes for additional charge. I upgraded to the banana pancakes and it was definitely worth it. My boyfriend got the loaded hashbrowns and it is exactly what the name tells you: it is loaded. Very delicious in the beginning, the sauce is amazing, but after a while it did get kind of heavy. If you're into heavy foods, I recommend this. It was delicious but it was too much for my boyfriend and I at some point. Also try the coffees here. They are rich, yet not too bitter and not too sweet (although if you have sweet taste buds I recommend the iced caramel latte or macchiato). They also come in cute cups as well! read more

So I've been eating at the pan for last several years and the food , service, atmosphere has been phenomenal. Today I went to their new location on Gardena Boulevard and was disappointed. It's a small restaurant with 3 tables for dining in so I imagine they chose this location mainly for to-go orders but when I first sat down the server informed me that they did not have a restroom (or sink) for me to wash my hands. Luckily, I had a supply of wipes. After my food arrived, I' asked the server for a glass of water and was told that they did have water at "this" location. They did however have a $4 bottle of water for purchase. I can truly understand that if this restaurant was to be carry out only then the lack of a restroom and water might be expected, but if you are going to serve people inside there are certain requirements that must be met. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1 was that damn food...good! read more
