We got the mushroom ravioli and meat ravioli. Holy &$@/! This was excellent. Had both the next day and it was restaurant quality. Going back to the Ferry Bldg next Sat for Farmer's Mkt and to try some more flavors. Curious to try their sauces.

You'll find this artisan pasta vendor at the Ferry building's Saturday farmers market. http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/eRc0JVUAwfRkecLB7zfbtg/l It's the BEST fresh pasta I've tried so far. The first time I encountered this vendor long ago, the man was a little grouchy (busy doing something, I don't know) and it was difficult to get his attention to make a purchase. He didn't even give me a bag for my stack of pastas, luckily the people at Delica-rf1 gave me a tote bag for free. Subsequent visits have been better, the woman at the stand is much more friendlier and they now have paper bags available to carry your purchases. Prices are $5 for most pastas, and $10 for the raviolis. All packaged in clear plastic containers, one pound each. Expensive, but not too bad since each is enough for 3 or 4 people (okay, maybe 2 people if you're really hungry). http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/zVVOKPRZAPUoxJO1d54Eaw/l http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/wnaDpyRDMFbeKNaEiFvCYQ/l http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/94NyWqKyH2fhALDsyBbBag/l Also one day, I was surprised to find some pre-packaged food - a delicious tofu, really good. http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/6pQwIhKENVBvRiGkBMAuTw/l

My name is Mike and, yes, I am a pasta addict! Walking by during a recent Saturday market, I was drawn to their table and my eyes widened when I saw the Porcini & Truffle Ravioli in Egg Pasta ($11.00). The directions are very clear on the back panel, cooking them for 5 to 7 minutes. One package will feed two for dinner and it intrigued me that their serving suggestion was with sweet butter or olive oil. Not reading the packaging prior to cooking, I bought a small container of fresh meat sauce from Mollie Stone's in preparation for this meal. A few weeks later, the lady at the market recommended the Sweet Onion & Red Chard Ravioli in Sweet Red Pepper Pasta (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/QYTfPj7pLQiXseTIwpn4gA?select=wuCbiHEQmxlTU6iF3kxZIg) and the Roasted Red Pepper Sauce (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/QYTfPj7pLQiXseTIwpn4gA?select=l3Rf6GfoyXrkcj0E6DEowQ) . Make sure you follow their directions to avoid overcooking them. The pasta was on the cheesier side and the red pepper sauce was a bit tangy. Overall, the Porcini & Truffle is my favorite of the two.

(See pics) Review #1256. Decently priced for 6 dollars each box of fresh pasta at the Farmers Market outside the Ferry Building. I like fresh pasta and enjoy the delicate but firm texture. The taste was fresh and took a lot less time to prepare. When it comes to pasta, I don't make them at home as it's a lot of work and if I can get them fresh easily, it will save me time whenever I want to make a dish. Both pappardelle style and stuffed truffled ricotta with asiago were in well made and a great complement to the main dishes.

Sauce that was sold 1 day before use by date that Caused me DIARRHEA FOOD POISONING.

Bought 3/21 and ate on 3/24 with ravioli. Had massive running diarrhea right after ate for dinner. Spouse also had diarrhea. Checked date on pasta sauce and they sold me old sauce. It was food poisoning. Went to farmers mkt to return today. Informed him of aforementioned and he said nothing and just took the sauce and threw it under the table. I had to ask for replacement. He just grabbed another same sauce and handed to me. I didn't want same and asked for another. Meanwhile all during this he allowed a male pushy customer to stand a couple feet from me and was attentive to him by serving him instead of asking this pushy guy to wait 6 feet away in line until I was finished. I asked for the Marinara sauce, he grabbed it and just tossed it on the table on too of the sample pastas instead of bagging it as they usually d0. I had to ask him to bag it. I asked him to finish with me before the pushy guy but he ignored me and continued to serve the pushy guy. I told him he was rude and that after supporting them for years almost weekly, because of his disrespectful attitude, I will no longer buy from them and will be calling the company. Which I did and Sandy called. She made all kinds of excuses and wasn't all concerned that I had DIARRHEA FOOD POISONING. All she wanted was for me to continue shopping. She defended her staff saying he volunteered to work. So I said it was all in her because she probably wouldn't pay her staff if they took Shelter in Place. I too didn't want to go out but felt they had to know I had food poisoning. His rudeness, disrespect, biasness toward me (I wore N95 face mask and am asian) in favor to a white male is unconscionable! I support food industry during this pandemic but no one should be disrespectful of the safety and health precautions nor to long standing customers.

Tried the Goat Cheese, Spinach & Olive Ravioli in Lemon Pasta from Whole Foods last night for dinner. It cost $10.99 and I only ate about 1/3 of the content of the box. Loved it! Again I did not need any sauce to go with it as the fillings were seasoned perfectly (and strong too with the goat cheese). The pasta was so fresh too!

Service is a little unusual in where you order outside (it was freezing and cold and I felt pressured to make a decision quickly so I didn't lose out on my turn in line.) I hope they change it but I guess it helps them serve more people. I also didn't like that there were people in bar stools to the right of us and I realized they were all overlooking our table and that was just too close for comfort. Service was alright tbh. Not anything to really acknowledge. I did not like the garlic bread. I couldn't taste the garlic at all and it was heavy on the parm and the bread was way too hard and crispy for my liking. But the pasta was incredible and only reason I'd be back. Their selection of beer/wine was underwhelming. Overall, I'd only come back from the pasta and nothing else.

The shrimp were much smaller than I expected, and I may have misunderstood the menu because I thought it would be served with pasta. Instead, it came with bread mixed into the dish, which wasn't what I was expecting. However, it's hell of a tasty and delicious scampi shrimp The Veggie Lasagna looked delicious, and the atmosphere is always warm, cozy, and inviting. Overall, it's a lovely place with excellent service, and I'd be happy to come back to try other dishes.

The whole ambiance of the store is such a vibe - my husband and I love it. Even down to the music being played. It passes the vibe-check as the kids say. lol. I've been in for their soft serve & cannolis - both so yums! You can never go wrong with soft serve! You can choose from either a cone or cup & they have a bunch of toppings - even the olive oil & sea salt which I have heard AMAZING things about but I am a plain-girly so I opted for a plain soft serve on a cone. EDIT: GET THE OLIVE OIL & SEA SALT SOFT SERVE - ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG, it's LIFE CHANGING! I would never think the combo works but it freakin' works! lol. TRY IT, you won't regret it! If you go here & don't get a cannoli, did you actually go here? Just asking. Cannoli choices: Plain, Pistachio, Chocolate Chips & Rainbow Sprinkles. My go-to is Chocolate Chips, it never fails! A great thing about their cannolis is that they make 'em after you order! Fresh & hot off the presses! They also have coffee but I have never tried it BUT it gives me a reason to come back!

Went with the lunch special since I was planning on trying a pasta anyway and was eyeing the cookie and salads. So glad I did, the arugula salad was simple but delicious and fresh, helped break up the heavier sandwich and pasta, and the cookie was an excellent dessert! Calabrian fried chicken sandwich - excellent juicy and crispy chicken, with a little slaw and pepperoncini, and a great Rize Up sesame hoagie roll that really holds it together without getting soggy. Not at all spicy so don't be nervous. Agnolotti dal plin - maybe not my favorite pasta but beautifully made, very flavorful in a savory roast sauce. Glad we tried it. They have quite a beverage selection. This time we shared a tasty yuzu beer. Would probably explore their wines next time. Think bottles are half off before 3:30 which is pretty incredible.

It ended up taking us over two hours to get our pastries, and by the time we reached the front, some items had already sold out. This time, we decided to arrive right when the line opened at 7:45am on a Friday. Personally, I'd rather get there early, wait a little over an hour, and have the first pick of pastries than arrive later, wait even longer, and risk missing out on items. We were the third party in line and placed our order around 9:05am. By 9:15am, we had our pastries and drinks. After our first visit, I wasn't completely convinced the wait was worth it. The pastries were good, but the long line and wait time didn't feel justified. This visit, however, may have changed my mind. We ordered: * Madame Lorraine * Chorizo & Tot Croquiche * Morty P * Strawberry Vanilla Bean Bun * Pistachio Cardamom Sugar Croissant * Rocky Road Double Chocolate Cookie * Classic Croissant We also got two drinks: the S'mores Mocha and the Cherry Vanilla Almond Cappuccino. Don't skip their drinks, their specialty coffees are just as creative as their pastries. I really appreciate their rotating menu. Their pastries are always so creative, and I love that they experiment with unique flavor combinations that you don't typically see at a bakery. Some items are definitely more memorable than others, but I enjoy that there's always something new to try. Their pastries are well executed. The croissants are flaky and buttery. This visit, my personal favorite was the Chorizo & Tot Croquiche. Overall, this visit was a much better experience than my first. If you're willing to wait in line, I think it's worth checking out. Otherwise, you can always try your luck with their Hotplate presale.
