Do Not eat here. The food is not what it was years ago. I got extremely ill from eating a salad here. It tasted like it fell in cleaning fluid. I vomited in their restaurant for almost an hour with people all around. The bathroom was filthy and one stall wasn't even in use due to being clogged and disgusting. It took me so long to get over being poisoned from here. Still not 100%, I contacted The Patio within a week to let them know how ill I had gotten and they didn't even respond. The bbq is fine. Fries and onion rings good. Service terrible. Came here with my family for a quick birthday dinner. There was a beautiful picture of a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich so figured would give it a shot. The server dropped it when bringing us our food then ran away saying she needed a new brisket. My dad had to chase her down to say it was the buffalo chicken. Then after a long period they brought out this grilled "buffalo chicken" I wouldn't even eat this if it was what I ordered. We asked them to just flat out replace what I wanted and they wouldn't. The server came back 10 min later to say she could put my name on a list for a future credit. Flat out told her it was my birthday and they couldn't even bother to bring out a dessert to try and diffuse this mess. Was visibly unhappy. Just terrible interactions and will not be going back. Surprised by all the bad reviews. Stopped on a Sat nite about 6 pm. Not date night time yet for people but was busy enough. Our party of 6 was rung up quickly with smiles. A couple of young guys came by to let us know our order was coming shortly. Our order then arrived less than 5 min later. We were missing a few items. They did forget the sweet potato fries , which our young waiter whom I did not catch his name , ran off to get and returned with two orders and an apology. We did not get charged for the other order. Of our group, 2 had buffalo chicken sandwiches, 1 had the bbq pretzel burger, 1 had brisket, 1 had sriracha burger, and I had the chicken kabobs ( which were very moist with some onions and peppers , lightly grilled and rice pilaf which was perfectly done) everyone was very happy with the food and service. Great place for lunch in the area. On a recommendation for my first time here I ordered the Chicken Kabobs which was great and reasonably priced. The fries reminded me of the kind that I loved as a little kid at a Big Boys restaurant. Sadly I think they are closed now. Plenty of seating and a pretty expansive menu. You probably want to come here between 1130 and 12 to beat the lunch rush. You place your order at the counter and find a table or booth to catch up on some ESPN. This looks like a great place for drinks on the Patio after work. I'll definitely be back here to try the patty melt, Cobb salad and barbecue sandwich. A huge lot for parking and great service. I think the patio well that traditional style barbecue has very good ribs. The chicken is also really good as well. They also have really good coleslaw and cream soups. I haven't had much else on the menu but everyone else that's eating with me has raved about the food as well. They have a really diverse menu which most people should be able to find something that I like. Give Patti a try I highly recommend it. read more

We arrived for a noon lunch, our party of four, put in our orders, filled our drinks and then went out on the patio. We had to go back in, grab some napkins to clean our table off and grab bbq off of a vacant table. This was annoying only because there were four employees standing in front of the pass b-s'ing with each other. Back on the patio, I enjoyed my (pricey) Blue Moon and everyone drink up their pops. After 30 minutes of no food, I went in for a second beer while my party filled their drinks again. Half of our group's order was very obviously sitting on the pass. Back outside, we received our food five minutes later. Some was piping hot, other dishes were lukewarm. The coleslaw for the bbq chicken was room temp (good flavor but not really tasty at that point) and the garlic mash was strait up already hardening. The brisket was okay, a smidge dry but totally fixed with the delicious bbq. My medium rare burger was cooked well, but not hot... the taste good though. The other person in my party had ribs- they were hot and juicy and delicious. The taste and flavor is there... but obviously some plates sat much longer than other plates. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE if you have a coupon and check your order before leaving. When ordering online it provides a place for a coupon code but The Patio does not put coupon codes on their printed coupons sent via mail. They also will not make an adjustment when you bring the coupon to the restaurant after ordering. I was told by the manager, orders with coupons need to be called in or made in person. Also, I have been shorted fries on 2 prior visits and coleslaw and buffalo sauce on this visit. I really enjoyed this place. It was a very pleasant surprise. We had just finished a round of mini-golf with the kids and our friends and we were trying to figure out a close place to eat quick before the kids went nutty. A call to Red Robin provided an expected response, a 30 minute wait. Yeah, not gonna happen. Looking on yelp, I found the Patio. I've seen advertisements for the place close to home, which I found odd, as it's not that close. I gave them a call and asked if they were a restaurant with wait service or was it more of a fast food type place. The ass't manager said it was a sit down place with options for drive-thru. I asked how long was the wait for a party of 10 and he said no problem, we'll get you a table. SOLD! We get there and it's not a sit down restaurant really. Someone in our party said it reminded him of a classier college cafeteria. It was a more modern facility with flat screen tvs with the sox game on, there was a wine and beer setup too. We got to the line and it was very efficient. They had people walking up the line taking our orders and then we would hand them over to the cashier. Then we would be given our number placard and off to our table we went to wait for our food. And there was a large table reserved for our large party. How nice!! It was inexpensive, a ton of options, and perfect for large parties. We were able to linger around for a while, while the adults enjoyed their beers. OK, I don't beat around and got the full slab. It was good, but not great. Maybe I'm so accustomed to having BBQ with a smokey flavor to the point that meat which isn't smoked seems a bit lacking for me. The ribs were not heavily sauced but did have a slight tang. The sauces weren't nearly plentiful as other BBQ places that have a variety of different sauces varying in kick and hotness. The ribs are still good. I've just had ribs that were a lot better. You've got to get it out of your head that this is some fast food bbq joint. Yes, they do bbq food quickly (which is an oxymoron), but they have a lot of other good food, too. First the BBQ. They do ribs, bbq chicken, turkey, etc in a variety of dishes. Maybe it's not "traditional" bbq, but it's pretty good and fast too. They even have some secondary bbq dishes like pulled pork tacos or nachos. I love the ribs. They might not be smoked for hours and don't have a secret recipe, but who cares? If it's good, then it's good. Everything else is pretty good. I compare it often to Portillo's. That is fast food done by people who actually care as opposed to some of the other restaurants that have drive thrus. There is a nice mix of food here. Good sandwiches, whether it be beef, chicken, or hamburgers. Good salads, good mix of appetizers, and just the right amount of some other random stuff to really bring out the menu, like spaghetti and meat sauce, or a tuna melt. Don't forget to call ahead so that you can pick up your order through the drive-thru. The online service said they wouldnt have time to make my order, so I called and was able to order by phone. I ordered 3 Santa Fe salads- NO CHICKEN. 3 orders of fried zuchini & 2 orders of fish tacos. I got home to 3 Santa Fe CHICKEN SALADS. I DON'T EAT CHICKEN. Restaurants cheat the vegetarian community every time you dont listen & serve what you eat. You CHEATED me out of my money as I paid extra for something I don't even eat. Please LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!! I love their Ranch dressing. I have gone here just because I was craving the ranch. I usually get chick3n shishka bobs, buffalo chicken sandwich, Chicken Oreganato, or I order a bunch of side dishes for a meal. I used to never desire to go to payio, though every experience has been positive. I dont think their BBQ is anything special, however they have a big menu with plenty of healthy options. Both meals were lukewarm, the chicken and baked potato, so need improvement. Next, the dinners that you serve are difficult to eat because of the cheap plastic utensils that are provided. Beautifully done lemon pepper salmon and rice! The Salmon was amazing but I can't stop thinking about the rice.

This was my first time here and I'm impressed! The restaurant was clean, well appointed, the service was good and the food delicious! I had pulled pork tacos and they were really yummy. Also had a bite of the chicken and it was so tender and juicy with good flavor. The bbq sauce is on point. In addition to the spacious "eat in" area, they have a drive thru and wine bar.
