New to this part of town , was going to the bar next door and saw this place. Walked In to see how it was a this lady looked at me weird because I picked up the menu to see what they had. She asked me what I wanted and I told her that I was just browsing. She rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I left afterwards. Came back only because the bar was closed and I was still hungry. Walked in again and the same lady again asked me what I wanted without even looking at the menu. I again told her I needed to see the menu and got mad at me again and rolled her eyes. I'm Peruvian and I take great pride in trying out new places where I can get homemade food. We do not treat people like that. They don't even smile here like they don't want to be here. Anyways I ordered My Favorite place - " Papa a la Huancaina " it was good but definitely would not come back due to the lack of empathy and service. People need to be welcoming and smile. Make them feel at home. P. S did not the added gratuity! Unnecessary in my opinion! And then the extra tip portion was not necessary either.

Food was great and so was the service. The food was great environment was warm and friendly and service was fast. Place is famous for their peruvian rotisserie chicken made on their original peruvian charcoal grill which gives the Peruvian rotisserie chicken it's unique flavor, the quality of the food was excellent!!! Very Friendly Staff! Will Be Back!

We where seated really quick, Diego was very attentive, knew his stuff and made you feel welcome. The food has large portions to come in with a BIG appetite, this is a good thing Food was a 7-8 out of 10. Great music, if I'm in the area I'll come back again.

Good "leche de Tigre" but that's about it. Service is ok but they can't tell starters from main dish... : (

The service is incredible, the chef and other staff were quick and very attentive, making sure each dish is crafted to perfection. It's a very casual spot but the presentation of the food is up to par with some of the Michelin star restaurants you can find in the city. I do want to note that each group is served one at a time. We unfortunately showed up right after a group of 6 with another party of 2 already at the counter. The chef takes the order of the party that comes in first. The group of two ordered almost everything on the menu and the group of six put in multiple things meaning we were not able to put in an order until 6:30. Though this does make sense since there were only 3 people preparing the food, it was unfortunate since we were hungry and waited an hour to put in our first order. That being said, the food was incredible. We got the fish ceviche, spicy. tuna causa, and the cilantro lime rice. If you like spicy, get the ceviche spicy! It was one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The causa was very well balanced and the cilantro rice had a good amount of seafood in it. Everything was so beautifully prepared we almost didn't want to eat it! Overall, the food and service is amazing and I think the food is fairly priced for the amount of time and attention is put into each dish. But do be warned about the waiting time.

She broke down the concept of how things are ordered directly with Chef Anthony and from there, the rest is history. They warned their Michelin Gourmand bib last night and it was well deserved. First dish was the fish ceviche with medium spice (you can choose your level of spice). It was by far one of my favorite dishes. Following that, I had scallops that were like butter in my mouth with an orange zest as a finish. Following that was a tuna and avocado hamachi with a little crunch. This one is savory with a hint of sweet and it was a unique dish because of the ginger but it was good. Next up, the crispy rice with two tuna and two salmon and that was also part of my favorite bites. I ended the evening with tuna belly nigiri. It did not disappoint. 10/10 for all of the above. Definitely a cute spot surrounded by great company. Cute ambiance but you will also miss it because there is no sign outside so when Siri says you've arrived, she's not lying. Check them out and enjoy!

I made lunch reservations at El Embarcadero for a going-away lunch for a good friend after hearing…read moreso many wonderful things about it, and I'm really glad we went. We started by sharing the scallops as an appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious--one of my favorite parts of the meal. They were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I wasn't really hungry, so I ordered the leche de tigre and it was incredibly satisfying--fresh, juicy, bright, lemony, and full of citrus flavor. I especially loved that fresh lime taste; it made the dish feel so vibrant. My friends ordered a few different entrées, and I got to try a little bit of everything. Everything looked amazing, but I especially loved the shrimp risotto. For dessert, the maracuyá cheesecake was completely out of this world--so divine. It paired perfectly with an Americano coffee and was the perfect way to end the meal. The one disappointment for me was the sangria. We all shared some, and unfortunately it tasted watered down, more like diluted wine than a true house-made sangria. I was really hoping for something fresher and more flavorful. Overall, I had a lovely experience. The food and dessert were definitely the highlights, and I would absolutely come back. Next time I'd love to try one of their cocktails and order a full entrée of my own.
