The new owner, Ryan Hammer, matched their price adding the value of rodents and other pests the same day I requested a quote. The cherry on top for the super quoting/account process was that Ryan met Me in person to go over details and answer my questions. Due to this and many other positive Vester related reasons I signed up in April This year. Ryan set me up with Peter for the actual inspection and he was great! The inspection was in fact complimentary and he took the time to answer questions and offer tips to minimize ways pests could invade my home (seriously those tips are ways we would pay them less). Ryan, the new owner of Vester, was the first to get back to me. I'll be very honest and tell you I was a little concerned based on their overall rating but after reading the reviews it became clear that they were extremely outdated and based on experiences that occurred under previous ownership. After some back and forth in the app, Ryan called me personally and worked quickly to have one of their team members stop by to do the inspection within a few hours of the initial message. He stayed in clear communication and followed through on my request of 5 mins notice so I could meet them on site. Israel did the actual inspection and he was amazing! The inspection itself was complimentary and I think that it's important to keep in mind that if everything goes the way we're hoping (no evidence of the pests), Vester isn't guaranteed anything from us. I was expecting a 20-30 minute max visit. Israel stayed for over an hour, meticulously inspecting every area, and patiently answering my questions/showing me where he'd looked and where to keep an eye on in the future. Because it involved a vacation rental and a guest concern, I asked if we could get a report indicating their findings (which were that they couldn't find any areas of concern, phew!) as quickly as possible (I've still not paid them anything and they've now spent at least 2 hours of time for us between calls, travel, inspection, and now a report) and they had it to be before the end of the day. I was extremely impressed with both Ryan and Israel. They were kind, communicative, knowledgeable, thorough, AND they both took the urgency I conveyed seriously and got me the resolution I needed quickly. The fact that the experience was this positive from start to finish, even after determining there were no issues and therefore no treatment was needed, tells me everything I need to know about how they do business. I live in National city and my original call to Agpest was for my flea problem. We don't have any…read morepets and no carpet. Just fleas left from previous owners that lived in the house I just moved to. A guy named Miguel came out and sprayed the yard and around the house. We were good for about a two weeks and I called about more fleas. Miguel wasn't available so another guy came out and sprayed and put bombs in the house. I was charged extra, but credited back for it. They assured me the flea cycle would break after a month and I wouldn't have anymore. During the 8 months of using them, he was late and no call no show on some appointments. When I called their dispatch, they said they'll reach out to the tech and would call me back. They never did, I had to make the call back and dispatch said the tech couldn't make it. I lost a whole day of running errands because of that. By the 8th month, I was still having flea issues and when the tech came to spray I asked if he's going to spray for fleas and the tech said no. I asked why not, I've been under the assumption that he's been spraying for fleas every month. He said its an additional cost service to spray for fleas. I said to the tech, okay that's why I'm paying you. He responded by saying I need to call and add that service for additional cost and also that's my fault because I don't have a secure yard to keep stray animals out from bring fleas. I canceled service after that.
