My husband and I just moved to Englewood from NYC last summer, and I'd have never imagined that a part of my regular lifestyle in the 'burbs would include 1x or 2x/weekly visits to Pickle Licious for quarts of New Pickles! My husband and I have tried every brand available in every market in the area,as well as farmed fresh and locally brines varieties for the last 2.5 years, and Pickle Licious leads at #1, hands down. Pickle Licious is a dream come true to my pickle loving family!!! They have the most amazing pickles approved by my 4 year old and 10 year old girls. Baby Ali cant get enough of the kosher dill!!! She started at a the very young age of 6 month:) You can come in and right away fell in love with the smell of pickles from the store. The best part about Pickle Licious is that they have samples of all their products for their customers to try before they purchase their items. I'm a Pickle LOVER !!! I'm 70 and thats been the case since I was a kid! I recently went to a diner and they had 1/2 sour that were homemade and great.....so then I said to myself, maybe Turco's ( by me in Yorktown Hts,) has something? What a find in Teaneck, NJ!!!! Lower East Side Pickles and more ( Just Like Gus used to make). Never knew there were so many types of pickles and olives all so delicious and fresh. Freshly prepared Olive Spreads, Chumus ( I salivate just thinking about it). I have been a long time customer of Pickle Licious and I must say the pickles are the best on the planet! I can't ever eat another store bought or even locally farmed pickle ever again because they just don't compare! And as good as the pickles are, the customer service is even better! They aren't like any other employees you have met at any other company. They are your friends and want the best for! By far the best customer service I have ever received even when mistakes were made! Mistakes will happen as we all make them but I have been more than compensated when a once in a blue moon comes around and there actually was a mistake! I know this may sound weird but I have never eaten anything at pickle licious but I am writing a review for them and giving them 5 stars. I don't eat pickles because of the vinegar and will never get anything from pickle licious. However, besides the food that they serve i like everything about the place. When I pass by their stand at the farmers market the people behind the stand are very friendly and offer samples. To me that says a lot about a place. I know several people who have had a pickle from there and loved it.. I just wished I like pickles so I could go to this place! read more

Truly incredible. Big, classic kosher pIckles straight from the barrel, ranging form new pickles (why would you bother?) to full sours (oh yeah!) to spicy (OMG!). Mouth-puckering pickled vegetables (gardiniera salad), marinated mushrooms redolent of oregano, every kind of olive you could want. Love walking into this store, which smells like pickles and sells all kinds of delightful snacks and gifts in addition to pickles. You really cannot get a better pickle than this. I sometimes stop in for a pickle on a stick (a pickle popsicle! they even give them out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween!) when I'm walking by. The store is such a warm and inviting atmosphere, with very helpful staff and an incredible selection of olives, pickles, salts, penny candies, and all kinds of delicious spreads that I have served at holiday time and throughout the year. Oh my GOODNESS! The sweet pickle chips are THE best. My (now deceased) mother loved sweet pickele, but all she ever had were schlock mass-producedickles. If she could only have tasted these, she would have loved them! I eat them in her honor. They were available at our green market all spring and summer - now that it's closed for the winter, I'll soon be ordering. read more

I bought some of their pitted kalamata olives at the farmer's market in Ridgewood and they tasted like pickles, not olives. I even rinsed them to clean the brine but it didn't help much. read more
