Went here last night for drinks and dinner after seeing a play in Bristol. We needed somewhere that would still be serving dinner after 10, and fortunately this place had an ad in the program talking about late night specials, so we took the short drive and gave it a try. Some of the best wings I have ever had! I also had a roast pork club sandwich that made for 2 incredibly satisfying meals. $10 pitchers. We were there on karaoke night and I have been to TONS of karaoke nights - this was one of the best. Good selection of songs and everyone in the place was into it. read more

Great, great food! Their soups are always amazing. I've also had and loved their burger, veggie grinder (my favorite), wings, French tip sandwich, buffalo chicken spring roll, cheese steak.....I've had a lot and it's all awesome! The bar has a nice neighborhood feel & the employees are all super nice. They don't have a kids menu but my kids are treated wonderfully & would order chicken fingers whether it came from a kids menu or not.(We're talking lunch and dinner of course. I wouldn't bring them to a bar in the evening) Why not 5 stars? I'm a beer snob & their rotating craft draft is a hit or miss for me. They usually have an OK bottle selection but nothing extensive. Today they had Nugget Nectar on tap which is a hit for me. I have a happy belly right now and I can't wait to go back! read more

Excellent food and Service. The place looks like a hole in a wall but I convinced my wife to try it. The French Onion soup was delicious. The Garlic Hot wings were not crazy hot but awesome tasting. The fish and chips were like I was in Disney in England. My wife had the meatloaf and she said it was scrumptious. We will defiantly be back as it was excellent. read more

Excellent food, great selection of beer and friendly staff. Don't go to The Pines if you're looking for "fast food." Everything is cooked fresh and made to order so be patient! It is always well worth the wait! We eat (at or from) here several times each week and are never disappointed. I have had almost everything on the menu, and love it all!! read more

Unsuspecting DELICIOUS VARIETY OF FOOD!!! This little corner tavern has some interesting menu selections. They also have a tiny stage for weekend entertainment. They can best Philly and New Hope when it comes to dinner. The drink selection isn't too bad either. The don't offer 100 taps, but what the do offer is a quaint range of beers. They also offer take out on 6's. Unlike a neighboring bar, the beer is never skunky or old. I love this little spot and cannot wait to see the pending expansion. Hoping that this does not change the quality or the patrons of this gem. The only downfall is, they are a tiny pub, and parking is limited. But hey, I walk there, so what do I know. read more

Excellent food really cozy. I've been here twice so far and will definitely be back. The sauce on the wings is really flavorful. The peanut tai chicken was on point. I was impressed with the sauce I ordered it because if you are going to put something like that on the menu in a small pub it has to be good and I was right. Recently stopped for lunch and to catch the Christmas parade. I ordered the gourmet wings expecting the same greatness I experienced last time only to be thoroughly disappointed. Way too hot, none of the savoriness of last time...they didn't remotely taste like the last ones I enjoyed. Mentioned it to the bar maid but alas she is not the cook. I have been here a few times and my experience has yet to be anything less than fabulous. First thing is first, the food is awesome. Our bartender/server, Rosemary, is so very accommodating and sweet. I would highly recommend the JD pork steak (it comes with their delicious smashers), as well as the ancho chipolte ribs, which were some of the best ribs I have ever had. Was in town for a seminar in Newtown. Went to Pines Tavern nearby my hotel for a beer and a bite. It is a cute, cozy, homey place. Great "Stop Short Rib" Sandwich. Good choice of beers. read more

Probably should be a 4.5. The food was amazing, pork roll fries are definitely a must, but you gotta try the meatballs as well! They were juicy and melted in your mouth and the crab cake sandwich was delicious as well. All in all good prices for what you get. A lot of places charge a lot more for smaller portions and lesser quality food. Service was a little on the slow side but it was packed on a Saturday night, so you have to take that into consideration. I just moved to the area so I'll be back many more times. read more

Me and my wife and our friends went to The Pines Tavern. The food is really good there. We were going to a show at BRT so we look up a bar in Bristol Pa. That how we found this place . It like a corner Bar it's small but nice. This was two weeks ago but I had put it up on Yelp because food was really good and I would go back again. My friend Pat had steak smash potatoes and vegetables said it was good. My wife had a burger and fries and I had shrimp with chicken with mixed vegetables and Francine had crab cakes. And we ordered on side chicken egg rolls the where really good too. read more

Definitely a little divey and could probably use a really good deep cleaning, but I liked the Pines Tavern. Our server was friendly and accommodating and there when we needed her. My Tavern burger special was tasty, but the burger itself was smaller than expected for $9. Overall, a good first experience. Will try again. read more

Pretty cool spot, a little tiny, the draft cider for $5 was mediocre, got barely lit after like 5 of them. Umm, their tip sandwich or whatever they call it was tasty, service was good. No vaping, hopefully they'll allow that, maybe when kids are not there after like 8pm? Otherwise, had a good time with someone special there. Haha, will return. read more

We were listening to the Egan Football game on WBCB and they advertised for the Pines. They read off the Pines sandwiches. My husband and i looked at each other and said we must go. We went there that day and loved the place. Food is just amazing from the soups to the sandwiches. They are very creative with the menu. This place is a hidden gem. read more

Went here last night and never EVER again. We ordered burgers and a pork sandwich and it took over 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours for sandwiches???...The waitress was very apologetic and couldn't be nicer about it but the cook didn't seem to care how long we sat there. People that came in after us sat at the bar and got their food before us. Seems they cater to the regulars and couldn't care less about new customers. Oh and we live in Bristol and if it went well we could have become regulars ourselves. It took so long we had to get everything to go. This place was awesome. I definitely learned to never judge a book by its cover. A girlfriend and I met here for dinner. We got the poutine fries to share, which were huge and delicious. We each got a salad for dinner, both of which were equally fresh and delicious. Service was great as well. Definitely would eat here again! read more

You know, I wasn't too impressed with the new boneless wings. The "chicken" reminded me more of McDonalds chicken nuggets than real meat (though much bigger). The spicy Thai peanut sauce was great... but the breading seemed saturated with it, not like crispy breading coated with sauce. Perhaps the sogginess was due to me ordering ahead of time... but if they're boxing my 7 o'clock pickup at quarter of, that's it's own issue. read more
