Best pizza. An overused phrase, one that belies the taste of the reviewer, but perhaps not yours. Thick crust, thin crust? Rolled edge, stuffed edge? Sauce on top or bottom? Red or white? Mushrooms? Sausage? Pineapple? Jalapeño? Everyone has their favorite. I've tasted pizza all over the world, and there isn't one that stands out as the gold standard. But I've enjoyed most of them. Rome? Napoli? Bari? New York? New Jersey? Yes. All good. What impresses me is fresh ingredients, handmade dough, and a hearty red sauce or a perfect blend of cheeses if I do a white pizza. To that end, I found a hidden gem. The Pizza Box uses ingredients from their farm in upstate NY and those of their neighbors. The menu adjusts according to the crop. I had a garlic scape, a white pizza featuring fresh garlic from their garden, amazing portobello mushrooms, scallion, sea salt, and I added sausage. They don't sell slices, and I feared I might not finish the whole pie. I was wrong. I probably could have eaten another, it was so good! The crust was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of char, the cheese blend was spot on, and the sausage really closed the deal. Mike and his wife take pride in their food, and one bite will convince you it's worth the trip. Specials are offered depending on the crop, so keep going back. You'll thank me later.

The Pizza Box is worth every penny with its inhalable 12 inch neopolitan pizzas made with 72 hour risen dough, fresh ingredients, and generous toppings! Order on their app, pick up in 15 minutes, and earn rewards point. Take it to go or enjoy in the back with their ample seating. Service is quick and friendly. Also, come round for their happy hour specials 5-7pm. On Tuesdays they have Trivia night. It's a really great addition to the neighborhood.

The best pizza and people! The crust is so delicious my friends and I love the classic margarita but also their fun seasonal white pies are so good. The service is great, ambience is fun, and they have great theme nights like trivia, love island watch parties etc.. pls give this place a visit it's amazing all around.

A classy personal pizza spot that Bleecker Street didn't know it needed. I know. I know. Did this street need ANOTHER pizza spot? Yes. This place serves elevated pizza. We ordered the fermented garlic, pepperoni and honey pizza. Honey on pizza is not new, but this one was beyond my expectations. It was so good I started questioning if the pepperoni cups were filled with butter. Nice selection of upstate NY IPAs and Italian sodas. Very cute decor and nice sized tables for groups. Service was 10/10. The owner and woman taking our order were kind, welcoming and attentive. I'll be back, as there are meatballs on the menu that I can't wait to try.

New place in WV that we definitely needed. Owner, Melanie made us feel so welcome. They bring everything from their farm upstate and use sourdough for the crust. They had amazing samples to get people in the door and they have an excellent space in the back for future hosting! Add this to your list!

What a fabulous place to celebrate with friends!! We had our team holiday event at the Pizza Box and they couldn't have been more delightful. BUT, don't let me forget to mention - THE PIZZA!!! So yummy and lots of different flavors and fun combinations. The whole Pizza Box crew from owner Melanie to Chef Michael and the whole team - their attention to detail and the care with which they prepare the amazing pizza, but also the decor and the atmosphere of the location were unparalleled. We would not hesitate to come back. They even put a welcome message on their screen for the whole group. We had just come from volunteering @ Gods Love We Deliver and it was a perfect way to celebrate the work we do. Make sure you check out The Pizza Box - you won't regret it!

The Pizza Box has managed to secure itself as my favorite pizza in NYC just after a few visits. We live in the area and stumbled upon this spot as we were walking around and they were giving out free samples. We have since been back 3 times, and we can't get enough! The food is truly so fresh, everything is farm to table, and they have a beautiful outdoor space. This spot is a family run business, and every time we have gone you can tell they truly are passionate about the product, and they want all of their customers to have a great experience. I cannot recommend this spot enough, it is an absolute must try!

I ordered a solo pepperoni pizza for my lunch. 6 slices and good for 1 person if you are really hungry and have not taken your breakfast.

If you want a slice of pizza and a slice of life or nature, go to the Pizza Box at Bleecker st. The place is really great with a relaxing backyard with towering trees. The pizzas taste good and the service is exceptional.

The platter comes with perfectly seasoned chicken over rice, along with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I got the famous white sauce and hot sauce on the side so I could add as much as I wanted, and both took the dish to the next level. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and paired perfectly with the rice. The portion was generous and incredibly filling, making it an excellent value. Everything tasted fresh, and I honestly enjoyed every bite. That said, it was so good I could probably eat two platters! The line was long, but don't let that discourage you it moved steadily and was absolutely worth the wait. Since this is a NYC staple and it's been so long, I knew I had to come again this trip. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap as well as a beef platter. I thought the wrap was very good. Very saucy, and tasty, however, I just found the platter to be a bit bland. It almost felt like it was missing something. Also I think the portion sizes definitely got smaller. Overall it was a solid meal. I don't think I'll be rushing to come back, but I'm glad I was able to experience it again.

Half the spots nearby had already shut down or had lines I wasn't about to stand in, and this truck was right there, lit up and moving fast. Got the two-meat combo over rice. The guys inside don't waste time. I had my plate in a few minutes even with a couple people ahead of me. Chicken and beef both came out hot, and the rice underneath was fresh and fluffy. Ask for the extra spicy red if you want to suffer a little. Portions are big for the price. I walked away full and happy. Fries are the one thing I'd skip (they go soft quick), but with the meat and sauces all over the plate I didn't care. If you're out late and everything else is closed, this is the move. They open at 7:30 and stay open well into the night, which is exactly when you want them. I'll be back the next time I'm wandering around starving after midnight.

The steak is done perfectly at medium rare that you don't need any sauce and the fries are a nice crispy and golden brown. One of my favorite parts about this food truck is that I believe it is run by 2 brothers and the front guy is so nice. You can tell they're great people. They're pretty busy around noon, but I'm always able to get my lunch within 15 minutes. They are cash only, but they do also take venmo or zelle. I stumbled upon it around lunchtime and saw a long line stretching down the block. Normally, that would be a deterrent -- but I quickly realized everyone was there for a reason. The line moves surprisingly fast (these guys have it down to a science), and it's absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the Steak Basil on Rice and the Kimchi Sesame Steak on Rice, and both dishes were mind-blowingly good. The steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the sauces had that perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and umami that makes you close your eyes after every bite. The rice was fluffy and soaked up every drop of flavor. You can tell Dorjee, the owner, takes real pride in what he serves. He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet -- greeting regulars by name, joking with the crowd, and hustling behind the grill like a pro. Pro tip: Get there early. They sell out by 2 PM every single day, and once the steak is gone, it's gone.

The difference in the doi is that it is topped with a yogurt to balance the spice for a creamier texture. I liked this a lot, especially with the tamarind sauce too (though this got a bit messy).
