Awesome place to get a bit! They have something for everyone, and it is delicious. This is a small, local place. seating is limited. beer is cold. service is fast and friendly. pies are cheesy goodness.

We ordered the Chicago deep dish and bonesless chicken wings.Pizza was decent although expensive for what you get. The wings on the other hand should be relabeled freezer bag "chicken nuggets".

My friend group and I went in for dinner and the pizza hit the spot. We had the best time, we ordered a large pizza. Our server, Kiki said we requested the most toppings they had ever put on a single pizza. The service was great, they just took a bit of time to make our food but they were really kind about it, and gave us a discount for the long wait. We didn't mind, we spun the wheel and got $3 mixed drinks while we waited. Can't beat that ! Would definitely recommend!

It's a small place but our food and the service were great. Ceasar salad had really fresh greens and good dressing. The fried Mac n cheese bite were really tasty. And the pizza was delicious with really yummy sausage. And the ranch is homemade and tased great.

Vegan, regular and gluten free pizza menu! You can't beat that! The place doesn't look like much and you order at a counter and seat yourself, but man what great pizza! Vegan pizza can be hit or miss depending on the type of cheese they use. I decided to go for the Margherita pizza and it did not disappoint. The sauce, the crust and the (faux) cheese were incredible. They serve wine and beers and drinks in cans and containers (fun lol!). Lastly, do not leave without getting desert. They have a selection of vegan deserts as well! I got the Vegan What the Fudge and an Oreo Cookie Topped Rice Crispy Treat (I'm dead). Want great pizza that everyone can enjoy go to the PIzza Patio!

Food is so great 10/10. They always have great drink specials, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have a nice outdoor patio with a fire pit and cute little indoor seating.

I'm not sure what happened, but so many of the great things that I experienced when I visited before seem to have vanished. They do still have a vegan menu, which is nice, but it doesn't make up for all of the problems.. For starters, the atmosphere is a mess. We had an evening event, so we came very early, around 5:15, so there was no one else around. We sat on the patio outside, and they had the music turned up so loudly that the speakers were rattling and we could not hear one another without raising our voices. Their neighbors must despise them. There is absolutely NO reason to have the music THAT loud. It was so loud that you could not even make out some of the lyrics from the rattling speakers. And the service is a mess. I ordered a "Hawaiian hottie" vegan pizza, which is supposed to have cheese, coconut bacon, pineapple, garlic, and jalapenos. After waiting 40 minutes for an individual sized pizza in a restaurant that was literally EMPTY (I had to go check that they had not forgotten us because the woman in the kitchen was just wandering in a daze for a period), the pizza came out **wrong**. They completely forgot the coconut bacon. When I asked why they hadn't put it on, the guy taking orders wandered off without a word and talked to the woman who had been wandering aimlessly. The solution was to offer some of it in little plastic containers so I could add it cold and uncooked to my pizza. I was not offered a refund or anything other than a "oh, she forgot, here's some cold bacon" for any of it, like it was my problem the cook didn't know what she was doing. The appetizers also took 40 minutes to come out (even though the menu says they take 10-15 minutes), and while they were fine, they were just that. I can say with confidence there are better, more affordable buffalo cauli in the town. For what we paid for the food, none of it was worth the price tag. My pizza was especially a let down. And to make matters worse, it made me sick. I found myself dealing with stomach pains all through our evening, leading to us going home. They also didn't have the self serve beer, and I had to pay the price of a Pepsi to get club soda from the fountain. What? I really don't understand how a place can go from 5 stars to 1, but this did the trick.

This place is a vibe. Really fun atmosphere and cool people who work here. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs like myself. I did have major issues after eating here, most likely due to cross contamination. It was a risk I took because I was starving. The rest of the food here for non dietary folks is incredible. My husband and family LOVES the food. The service is great as well, they're very attentive with checking in on you. Even though I got I'll from celiac issues, the food tasted incredible. So I do recommend this place. Just not if you're celiac.

We…read morearrived about 10mins after they opened for lunch on a Tuesday and we were promptly seated and served. It was a good thing, as the place was packed 15min later! This is our 2nd time at Fat Olives. I love their wooden floors, wooden tables and chairs and the brick walls...simple yet stylish! We decided on two pizzas- the 12" Shrimp Fra Diavolo (pesto sauce, spicy shrimp, basil, and the wonderful Calabrian chiles and chili oil) and a 10" Pepperoni. The shrimp pizza was amazing and will have me stopping in here on future Flagstaff trips! The crust was perfectly cooked- a little char from the wood smoke oven and a little chewiness like a good crust should have. Despite the place getting crazy before we left, our waiter was very attentive and got us a box for our last 3 slices (all from the pep) and to-go drinks. Being hot and sunny, we placed the pizza box on our dash and had the last few slices hours later on the road. The only problem with Fat Olives is it being in Flagstaff and not in metro-Phoenix. Okay...2nd problem is I want to try every pizza they have. If the first problem gets fixed, the 2nd problem may go away! Final note- they do have several pizzas with nuts on them, so those with nut allergies should speak to their server to understand any risk.

The amount of was generous, it's spicy, but I think it's a little bit oily and too salty for me. The belgio dolce was sweet and salty, it's better than the shrimp one. Their fat olives salad was good, it was refreshing and I liked the chicken breast they grilled, very tender. The caprese was good too. Don't forget to order tiramisu as dessert, it's not too sweet. The Italian soda was definitely on the sweeter side, but interesting to drink. The vibe was also good, and the staff was friendly. Be sure to make a reservation so you don't wait too long.

**July 2026: Tuesday and Wednesday Morning**…read more I usually make it a point to try new places when I travel, so the fact that I ate at Forêt FLG twice in the same trip should say everything about how much I enjoyed it. I was initially drawn in after hearing that Chef Sam Greenhalgh was a semifinalist for the 2024 James Beard Award (Best Chef: Southwest), and I was curious to try his food for myself. On my first visit, my friend and I ordered the Canelés de Bordeaux, Pain au Chocolat, Soft Scrambled Egg Plate, and Breakfast Burrito. We came back again for breakfast and tried the scrambled eggs toast and a savory waffle. Everything we had was delicious, but the Soft Scrambled Egg Plate was truly something special. The eggs were unbelievably light and fluffy, paired with perfectly buttered, toasted bread that somehow felt magical in its simplicity. The heirloom tomatoes and creamy avocado added such a fresh, balanced touch. It's a simple dish, but the execution was exceptional--and honestly, that's what makes it so memorable. I know it sounds a little crazy to return twice for something so simple, but it was just that well done. The breakfast burrito was a strong second favorite. We took it to go as we continued our road trip toward the Four Corners Monument, and it held up really well. It was packed with flavor, and I especially loved that the tortilla had a nice crisp to it. The pastries were also excellent--flaky, buttery, and everything you'd hope for--but for me, that scrambled egg plate is the standout and something I would come back for again and again.

I wanted to try the cereal milk latte and that was ready 15 min after ordering. It was good. My husband and I both ordered the breakfast burrito which was delicious!!! I loved the potato chips inside the burrito, very unique and a large portion too (I took half home and ate the next day). I would definitely come back here, but maybe not during peak hours.

The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this spot if you're in Flagstaff!

I've spent years seeking out restaurants worth traveling for. I don't just eat to eat--I plan…read moreentire trips around food. Hospitality matters to me just as much as what's on the plate because great restaurants don't just serve meals; they create memories. Unfortunately, Shift became one I'll never forget for the wrong reasons. Our day couldn't have been further from what the staff assumed. We spent the morning hiking, went back to rest, explored a local bookstore, grabbed ice cream, and walked to our dinner reservation. Not one alcoholic drink had been consumed by anyone in our group the entire day. Not one. We also had a child with us. The only conversation we had with the host before being seated was asking whether it was okay that we had arrived about twenty minutes early for our reservation. We were polite, excited, and looking forward to dinner. Then my husband ordered a beer. The waitress immediately refused because she claimed the hostess believed my husbands speech and mannerisms meant he was intoxicated. Read that again. A guest who had consumed zero alcohol all day was judged to be intoxicated. I understand the responsibility restaurants have. If someone is genuinely impaired, absolutely don't serve them. Every responsible restaurant should protect its guests and its liquor license. But there is an equally important responsibility that seems to have been forgotten: making sure your judgment is actually right before labeling someone. There was no bar crawl. No cocktails beforehand. No wine tasting. No brewery stop. No hidden drinks. There wasn't even one drink. We left feeling embarrassed, confused, and honestly caught off guard. Not because a beer was refused, but because a person was reduced to an assumption based solely on how they naturally presented themselves. Here's what makes the experience even harder to understand. After leaving Shift, we walked to Atria, where we remained for approximately two hours. We talked, enjoyed ourselves, and spent the evening there without issue. If someone in our party had truly been intoxicated wouldn't that have been obvious there as well? It wasn't. Food can be good. Cocktails can be creative. Service can be polished. None of that matters if hospitality disappears the moment someone doesn't fit your expectation of what a guest "should" look or sound like. Maybe perhaps because we weren't locals we seemed off ? To anyone considering Shift, especially if you're traveling with someone whose speech, mannerisms, or disability could be misunderstood, know that this was our experience. I hope the restaurant reflects on what happened and asks itself a difficult question: How many guests have we mistaken for being intoxicated when, in reality, they simply communicated differently? Because that's not just a missed beer. That's a missed opportunity to treat someone with dignity. I came to Flagstaff excited to discover one of its most " creative" restaurants. Instead, I left wondering how quickly a restaurant built on hospitality could make a guest feel so unwelcome. Simply , because my husband is a restaurant manager in Las Vegas, who has managed restaurants like Yellowtail, Herbs&Rye, Gjelina, and Edo we left out of respect for the industry. However, we should have got our deposit automatically refunded. Next time, take the time. Take the time to care. If a staff member is under this assumption, management intervene not to just follow said assumption and repeat what she said, but to hold an actual conversation with your guest, to evaluate , to observe, to understand. I promise you, that would change so many things for you.

It is absolutely one of those nostalgic vegan cafes like I frequented in college I won't say how many years ago - whole foods from scratch cooking, a little under salted (they have salt on the table if you prefer restaurant level salting), great use of spices for flavor, nothing trendy just wholesome reliably good food. We had the tamales (both lunch and breakfast plates), classic French toast, fruit cup, sausages, steamed greens, cheesecake, peanut butter chip cookie, and brownie. Loved it all, the scrambled tofu was a surprise hit with the whole crew, pinto beans are cooked from dried with a great creamy consistency, the warm spice in the French toast made it appealing to the grown ups without being "too spicy" for the kids. Home fries were another surprise hit with crispy exterior and fluffy interior on each piece. Desserts were very good - the blueberry cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies were the favorites. The tamales were very good but on the smaller side, if you're here for the tamales definitely opt into the small upcharge for a second tamale.
