Pretty average poké experience, but not sure if I'll be back. I ordered through postmates for pickup so my order was premade. Even though I got ponzu sauce and sesame oil, I could barely taste the sauce. I didn't receive soy sauce with my order, but that might have been on me as I should've specified in my online order. Everything tasted pretty fresh, so the food itself was pretty good. Staff were also friendly. The main factor why I probably won't be a returning customer is the price. It's $18.95 for a small bowl (2 scoops), but that doesn't even include the extra charges if you get avocado, Masago, and salmon. I get charging extra for avocado but charging extra for masago and salmon??? I decided to get salmon which made a single bowl $21. The only thing that made my order worth it was the Postmates coupon. Maybe it's more worth it to get a bigger bowl for a single order? I like the food here, but it was just the little things that added up that pushed my experience into average. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I'm all about supporting small businesses and sticking it to the giant corporations... but my taste buds filed an HR complaint halfway through this meal. Tried the lemon pepper bone-in wings and the mango habanero boneless wings (which came free with a poke bowl -- and now I understand why they were free). The poke? Pretty solid. I'd come back for that. But the wings? Let's just say I've had more convincing chicken experiences from a Costco freezer bag at 2 a.m. The boneless wings didn't really taste like chicken -- more like "mystery meat trying its best." The mango habanero tasted like sweet chili sauce from a bottle used for asian egg rolls layered in with a few dashes of habanero hot sauce. The bone-in wings were buried under so much breading I wasn't sure if I was eating poultry or a crunchy outer-space artifact dusted in lemon pepper. Love the effort. Love the small-business hustle. But the wings? Hard pass. Poke bowl? We're still seeing each other casually. Prices are average as well and the place is clean so a star for each of those. read more

This little strip mall place looked interesting so we stopped in for lunch. When you first get in line, you can choose your poke bowl ingredients. Further down the line you can order wings and loaded fries. They also have beef sukiyaki and chicken teriyaki bowls. I have to say that the staff here was friendly and helpful, giving suggestionsb and recommendations. I ordered a poke bowl with double spicy tuna and crab. Hubby ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. My husband did not like the teriyaki bowl at all. He described it as the weirdest tasting teriyaki he had ever tasted. My poke bowl was okay. I've definitely had much better. I can't see us returning. That said, it could just be us, because several people came in after us to order and they seemed to be regulars. To each his own, right? read more

This review is for the pricing, not for quality. The food was delicious, fresh and fabulous actually! We ordered via door dash and it may have been my fault that I didn't properly view the menu and sizing options. For 2 small bowls, 2 boba drinks, delivery and tipping 4 dollars, it came out to 66 dollars. Which actually isn't too bad, the only thing is, what we got was very tiny. Again, we ordered 2 small poke bowls with 2 scoops each. Had I known how small the bowl was, I would have driven there in person and seen the size options and gotten a medium. After looking at my receipt, 18.95 for a small was a bit excessive. Quality and freshness was great. What we got was 2 small poke bowls with shrimp and spicy tuna. Portions and size was small, almost kid size. I will stop by in person and maybe upgrade to medium bowl. Then maybe I will update my review. So I, of course, like many others would do, pulled out the good ol Yelp app and found this spot! This has become my go-to Poke spot lately since it's so close by! I usually go with the large poke bowl, which comes with 4 scoops of protein. I normally opt for 2 scoops of tuna & 2 salmon, but I also enjoy their spicy tuna from time to time. The fish is always fresh, and they mix just the right amount of sauce in without overpowering the fish. I go for the original, ponzu, and spicy mayo, and ask for the sauce to be drizzled on the base for extra flavor as well. I will say sometimes the rice can be a little on the hard side, and sometimes there are some tough greens in the salad mix. You also get a good helping of imitation crab & avocado, and a good selection of other toppings as well for a really nice balanced bowl. The quality of the fish and flavor of the sauce is what keeps me coming back, and the service is always quick, so this is a nice last minute option if you're on the go! read more

1/20/23 Decidedly to finally try the poke & wings joint right behind Stirred. I've been meaning to try it for a while now. It seems like a hidden place in this huge Cerritos plaza, doesn't appear to catch much traffic. I read the reviews & many comments about the wings not being too popular, so a No on that front. The young staff behind the counter, Pauline, was very patient with me as I ordered, for what seemed like an eternity because of the many choices offered on the " build your own Poké bowl". I ordered a small bowl (2 proteins) & a medium (3 proteins) bowl for hubby. I don't even recall the choices I made, perhaps, spicy tuna, albacore & salmon. The choices for toppings were plentiful, too. In hindsight, I should not have added the avocado because it looked a bit browned. Chose spicy mayo & orangey garlic for sauces. Each bowl did look packed to the brim. It looks pretty lonely inside, only 1 customer dining in. I opted to order to go. Guess everybody is at Stirred cramming for midterms lol Let's get in the business! My poke bowl was super awesome & delicious! Took it home & had to put it in a much bigger bowl because i couldn't mix it w/o spilling-it was so packed with fresh goodness. The flavor is definitely fresh, spicy-ish, & savory--umami!!!! While I am not a fan of poke, I am a fan of wings. I was scrolling through FB and I came across their deals. Looking through their menu I saw that they also carried chicken teriyaki bowls. This location is in a very big plaza so there will always be parking available. I went in around 3pm and it was not that busy inside to plenty of places to sit. Using my coupon was pretty easy and straight forward so I just placed my order and waited. Food came and the flavors I got for wings was mango habanero and lemon pepper. The bone in wings were cooked perfectly and the flavor of the mango was delicious. That is now my favorite flavor here. Naww this just wasn't it T.T Rice was undercooked. Portions were fairly generous, but for the containers they came in I don't think it was very intuitive the way they planned it out because it was kinda impossible to eat properly without spilling because all the food was just piled on into a shallow bowl. I've always been suspicious about this place because they supposedly sell poke AND wings. Two things that don't have anything to do with eachother really or are in the same realm of the way they are prepared. And after my visit I feel validated in my belief that you can't do both without sacrificing quality for one or the other... or both. I have passed this place so many times and I'm so happy I finally tried it out. The poke is a 5/5. The fish quality is great, and the toppings and sauces are excellent. What really blew my mind was the amount of food that you receive. They do not skimp! I also appreciate how the fish was thoroughly mixed into the sauce. The only improvement that they could make was the rice; it was slightly undercooked. But overall with everything else considered, the poke was bomb and I'm happy to have a local go-to spot. MY ORDER: I ordered their large bowl through Uber Eats which comes with 4 scoops of protein which was $20.95. I selected salmon for all but they have other choices. You can fully customize how you want your bowl, like Chipotle certain additions does not cost extra. Depending on what you select it would tell you what was extra for instance extra protein is always extra moolah. There was also a deal with the bowl which was for 5 extra dollars I would get some boneless wings and I ordered the flavor garlic parmesan, they have a pretty good selection when it came to flavor. I couldn't resist! WINGS: When it arrived the wings were still hot and they were delicious! I will say it tasted more like big chicken nuggets then boneless wings, but I like chicken nuggets more anyways! It didn't have the stringy texture tenders had but more of the mushy inside like a McDonald's nugget. If that makes sense lol. POKE BOWL: The bowl itself was filled to the brim! It was loaded... with everything except the salmon :(. I've been to lots of poke places and I must say their portions for the protein here are quite on the... very low side. However I look past it as it looked so beautiful. Like most poke places you're able to customize the sauces that go onto your protein. I picked 4 and while taste is subjective, I didn't taste any of the sauce on the salmon, like none-none. They didn't forget as there was some sauce coating it but it was tasteless. I consider myself a regular here I'll either dine in or purchase togo 1-3 times a week. There has been a drastic decline in consistency in the past few months. I imagine the turnover rate of employees must be pretty high because I've rarely had the same person create my bowl the past 10 or so visits. My last dozen visits have been lackluster, the quality of the bowls has been reduced dramatically, I've been leaving with the same thought "this isn't worth $40". This time was no exception, I will most likely no longer be visiting this poke place, it's not worth driving 20-30 minutes to receive bowls not even full go the container height. This time in particular it seemed the employee just didn't want to be there and had someone over their shoulder seeing how much salmon they scooped up, when it came time for garnishes he even REMOVED ginger that had already touched everything else on my bowl. Prior visits have been much of the same, or too much sauce literally drowning my rice making it inedible, I would love to see this place recover its consistency but it seems management is more interested in diversifying their menu rather than investing in training their employees read more

I've been to other poke places where they give heaping of toppings that the lid would barely close. I understand for the business to want to be cost effective, but all that leftover fish can't keep for days, so throwing it away is also not cost effective. On the bright side, the food tasted good with nice fresh fish. The one thing I liked is their large bowl came with 5 scoops of proteins. The chicken wings weren't bad. Little shop that has smoothies, poke and wings. They give a very large portion for poke which I appreciate. And the salmon I had tasted very fresh. I would not mind coming back for poke here despite having my usual go-to poke spots. The slushie was also pretty good with unique flavor combos. I will say wings are disappointing. Tastes like the frozen kinds you find at grocery stores and just smother in sauce. Had interesting wing flavors but fell short on quality there. This review is solely for the poke bowls. We tried the chicken tenders and fries and they were not the best, but it is, after all, a poke joint. Everything in my bowl was fresh and the portion was generous. I like that they had fresh beets as an option. I loaded my spicy tuna and shrimp with seaweed salad, rice, spring mix, beets, avocado, masago, edamame, and sauce. It was really good. My mom liked it as well. It's not a traditional poke bowl like in Hawaii. It's more of a combo of a poke bowl and Korean bibimbap. I think that's why my mom liked it. We will definitely be coming back. Have been here multiple times to try both the Poke and the Wings in order to get a complete picture before leaving a rating. Every time the environment was clean and the staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. First lets start with the star of the show, the poke bowls. The fish (the most important part of the dish) was very fresh and did not have any hint of a fishy taste or smell like other poke places I have been. On top of that, the variety of ingredients that could be added to your bowl was amazing. As you can see by the pictures, I really loaded up on everything that was available and the staff was not stingy with the portions! I got over 2lbs of food for just over $20! I cannot tell you how many times I've been to a poke place where they've given me the most pathetic portions and attempted to nickel and dime me every step of the way. Everything was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Between the fish quality, the variety, and the quantity I received this is easily a 5 star poke bowl. Not only one of the best poke bowls I've had in recent memory, but one of the best deals I've gotten on a poke bowl ever! I do need to mention that the rice was undercooked for some reason. If the rice had been cooked for a couple more minutes it would have been flawless in my eyes. But I'm not about to tank the rating I'm giving just because of some undercooked rice when the food and the deal are superb otherwise. Now for the wings, I got 10 bone in wings for around $17.50 and got the BBQ and lemon pepper. The wings were very solid, but nothing particularly special.
