Small Poke Bowl (2 Scoops) with salmon and shrimp
    Daniele F.

My dinner tonight was delicious, flavorful, and just the right amount to be awesome. The girls behind the counter were so kind and got right to work on my order when I walked in. Thank you Poke for working hard, keeping a neat and clean restaurant, and sharing a smile.

This review is for the pricing, not for quality. The food was delicious, fresh and fabulous actually! We ordered via door dash and it may have been my fault that I didn't properly view the menu and sizing options. For 2 small bowls, 2 boba drinks, delivery and tipping 4 dollars, it came out to 66 dollars. Which actually isn't too bad, the only thing is, what we got was very tiny. Again, we ordered 2 small poke bowls with 2 scoops each. Had I known how small the bowl was, I would have driven there in person and seen the size options and gotten a medium. After looking at my receipt, 18.95 for a small was a bit excessive. Quality and freshness was great. What we got was 2 small poke bowls with shrimp and spicy tuna. Portions and size was small, almost kid size. I will stop by in person and maybe upgrade to medium bowl. Then maybe I will update my review. I don't know if pricing in person is different but I will see for myself soon. Again, food was good, sizing and portion was not.

A delicious pit stop for poke and friendly staff! I was already in the area and was trying to find what to eat for lunch. So I, of course, like many others would do, pulled out the good ol Yelp app and found this spot! I was greeted by friendly and respectful staff who kept a keen attention to detail, ensuring I was getting exactly what I wanted (even down to the portions) and even offering suggestions too. There are seats inside and it's not too loud or anything inside - you can easily have a meal here with another person (or a small group) and easily hear each other. Overall, good food and good service. Will gladly come back!

Good food. Good prices. Thank goodness for BOGO on poke bowls via ad on fb. With inflation, it's good to save a buck or two esp with their coupons. Yummy goodness with fish and tofu proteins and lots of veggies.

1/20/23 Poke Co. & Wings, South & Cerritos Plaza

1/20/23 Decidedly to finally try the poke & wings joint right behind Stirred. I've been meaning to try it for a while now. It seems like a hidden place in this huge Cerritos plaza, doesn't appear to catch much traffic. I read the reviews & many comments about the wings not being too popular, so a No on that front. The young staff behind the counter, Pauline, was very patient with me as I ordered, for what seemed like an eternity because of the many choices offered on the " build your own Poké bowl". I ordered a small bowl (2 proteins) & a medium (3 proteins) bowl for hubby. I don't even recall the choices I made, perhaps, spicy tuna, albacore & salmon. The choices for toppings were plentiful, too. In hindsight, I should not have added the avocado because it looked a bit browned. Chose spicy mayo & orangey garlic for sauces. Each bowl did look packed to the brim. It looks pretty lonely inside, only 1 customer dining in. I opted to order to go. Guess everybody is at Stirred cramming for midterms lol Let's get in the business! My poke bowl was super awesome & delicious! Took it home & had to put it in a much bigger bowl because i couldn't mix it w/o spilling-it was so packed with fresh goodness. The flavor is definitely fresh, spicy-ish, & savory--umami!!!! Mine was a small & it was a generous serving! I'm coming back! Highly recommend the poke bowls, come n get it!

Fresh quality, amazing prices, wide selection of toppings and did I mention they have all flavors of Hawaiian Sun to choose from?! This is definitely my post workout go to before I head back home. Always fresh, always perfect.

one my favorite places to get poke :p always fresh and packed to the brim of the bowl, definitely worth the $$. i love mixing the poke co & hawaiian island sauce on my bowls so fire with my salmon & spicy tuna hehe. the tables and the poke bar area is always clean. i never gotta question the quality of food they serve! i only get their poke but i wanna try out their wings soon. 10/10 my favorite local spot !!

Came here for the BOGO - portions were generous and fish tasted fresh. Nothing stood out too much but loved that they offered avocado for free! Most places usually charge, so it was nice that they enough gave a big portion of avocado. If not for the BOGO, not sure i would've ever stopped by. While their portions are quite large, their prices are much higher than other similar poke joints which definitely factors to my decision of which poke spot I'd want to eat at.

The batter on the chicken is perfectly crunchy and light without being too thick or greasy or overwhelming the chicken. I like the original chicken wings and the soy sauce wings, but they have a lot of other flavors I need to try. Served with the standard Korean cabbage salad and pickled radish (which is a must). Their radish is delicious. Service is attentive and friendly. Beer and soju also served here with a decent selection of beers on tap, and they have a bunch of TVs to watch sports games. How dost one mess up an order not once, but twice in a row?…read more Wing Ferno, we really wanted to love you. But it's clear some serious kitchen training -- and maybe a menu reevaluation -- is in order. Let's start with the spice levels. You used to offer a good range, with the infamous "Wing Ferno" heat reserved for those who truly wanted to test their limits. Somewhere along the way, though, you axed the regular spicy and a few other mid-range options, leaving only mild, medium, and Wing Ferno. No warning, no clarification. When we called to place an order, the staff casually said "spicy," which we assumed meant something tolerable -- not a fire-breathing, stomach-churning sandwich . And we can usually handle our spice -- we're Korean. But this? This had us both violently ill for days with stomach issues. (Sorry for the TMI, but that's the truth.) We chalked it up to a miscommunication and decided to give it another shot. This time, we explicitly asked for medium heat to avoid the inferno. And yet, one of our sandwiches showed up missing half a bun. How does that even happen? We really hoped to add Wing Ferno as one of our go-to spots, but after two back-to-back disappointing (and stomach-wrecking) experiences, we're going to have to take a long break -- if not call it quits altogether. Please do better, Wing Ferno. We want to love you!

It's a small gesture, but it immediately made us feel welcomed. We decided to go with one of the combo meals, which came with boneless crispy fried chicken, cheese tteokbokki, and fried potstickers. We also added an order of corn cheese because... how could we not? The chicken lived up to the hype. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sauce that had me licking my fingers without shame. The cheese tteokbokki was exactly what I was hoping for. Chewy rice cakes swimming in a rich, spicy, cheesy sauce that kept me coming back for another bite. The corn cheese deserves its own paragraph because wow... I understand why Korean restaurants serve this. Sweet corn covered in gooey melted cheese is one of those dishes that sounds simple but somehow disappears before you realize it. The fried potstickers rounded everything out nicely and added another crispy bite to the meal. And because apparently we hadn't eaten enough, we finished with Dippin' Dots for dessert. It was such a fun way to end the meal and brought back a little childhood nostalgia. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and the whole spread looked as good as it tasted. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever the Korean fried chicken craving hits.

I walked in and noticed they do have limited tables. I wouldn't say this is a big group kind of place. Luckily for us, we were a party of 4. I looked at the menu over and over and couldn't really decide what to order. I had the dilemma of trying to feed my kids. So of course something not spicy and some carbs. I ordered the fries and honestly they were a miss. I didn't like that dirty oil flavor on it. I also did the cheese balls expecting some cheese full, but that again was a little mochi like in texture with no cheese pulls and dusted with a sweet cheese powder. It's an acquired taste. Those are some of the ehhh dishes. However the star of the show were the boneless chicken. We did their ddeok bokki mala flavor. Dang, that thing hits! It's very spicy, but in a good strong salty and spicy flavoring. It's also not too runny like other ddeok bokki's I've had in the past. I was thoroughly surprised by that dish. Now back to the boneless chicken, just be extra careful on your first bite. It's oozing with juices and piping hot. I had to open a few ahead of time to peel the meat for my children. They loved it. Now, pro tip, I would order the original again and order a side of the flaming sauce. That was super sweet and spicy. The perfect compliment to the crunchy texture. I also ordered a side of the boned in wings and had the soy spicy flavor. That was really tasty. I would order beer next time bc these flavors were bold and needed a cold beer to cool down the heat. Now, the thing that impressed me the most were the crunch on every single piece of chicken. They are by far one of the most inquire flavors and texture combination I tried. One thing, that made me say, hey I'll come back here again, was their workers. My son accidentally dropped the fork and like a few parents, we would just pick it up and wipe it off and use it again. I know, not everyone will do that. If you have a toddler they can drop that fork like 4 times sometimes. Anyways, the waiter noticed that and quickly brought us a clean new fork. That's some fine dining detail that I have never experienced in a small restaurant before. Kudos for the wait staff on that. One item for improvement is to offer some carb options like rice or noodles. I know it's more bar or finger food, but can't really serve Asian food without rice.
