My friends and I came by around 7:30-8 pm and the place was empty. We were sat and our orders were taken promptly. Our group was a little large so we got the Family Meal they offered. Comes with 16 wings(2 choices of sauces), tteokbokki, cheese balls, chicken salad, and two fountain drinks. All the food was pretty good and the salad as a nice way to balance our meal. They have a variety of flavors including their popular Black Aglio and gimme basak flavor. I heard their cheese balls and corn is also good to pair with your wings. I went with one other person and we shared their original and new chili mayo flavor. The nice staff there gave us some black aglio sauce to try and it's sweet and savory. I enjoyed the chili mayo flavor which turned out to my favorite. It had a sweet mayo flavor and wasn't very spicy. I did come with some pickled jalapenos which was good. I came here with my dear college friend - the place had a nice and modern, white and sleek design, which I thought was cool. We were promptly seated and got our food fairly quickly after ordering. The servers were also very prompt in getting us more water (you'll need a lot eating here). We ordered the wings with black aglio and some tenders with the chili mayo - surprisingly, I really enjoyed the chili mayo despite the spiciness! The flavor was really rich and creamy and less sweet than expected. We also ordered some fries with the corn seasoning, which was a little too sweet to my liking. My friends and I ate at Puradak over the weekend and loved it. My only criticism is the staff isn't familiar with the menu. It was our first time in and they weren't able to explain anything to us. For example, they offer Cream Cheese Balls & Black Balls of which my friend asked the difference between them. They couldn't figure it out and went back to the kitchen for a few minutes to discuss. It was bizzare with three people working the register that no one knew the menu, but I guess that's the vibe here. That being said, the food was all very good. They have a bunch of seating inside so once you order with the staff or on the touchscreen by the door, you can grab a table to dine at. There are so many Korean fried chicken spots popping up but Puradak is a little interesting because they have a bunch of more unique flavors and styles. The chicken itself was very plump in the boneless wings, juicy insides, nice and crisp outsides as it should be. We tried the Chili Mayo which had a pretty good taste to it but the after spice killed my mouth a bit. I'm a weak white girl lol. I absolutely loved the perfect flavor in the Sweet & Spicy though, couldn't get enough of it. Absolutely loved the cream cheese balls and the Black Cheese Balls. The first 50 people can get S (4pcs) boneless for $1 (normally $9). At 5:30PM, there was maybe a handful of people and over half the seats were available. I ordered: - $9 S (4pcs) boneless with chili mayo sauce (+$1) and pickled radish 5/5 - $9 S (4pcs) boneless with mabulro sauce (+$1) and fries 3/5 - $1 S (4pcs) boneless as part of the promotion 2/5 For all chicken orders, you can choose a side: fries, coleslaw, rice, or pickled radish Pros: - Chili mayo chicken is as great as I remembered; saucy and tender dark meat; I would 100% recommend trying this !! - Three size options for boneless (4pcs, 8pcs, 16pcs) allow you to try multiple flavors easily - Lots of seating inside - Food came out super fast (~5 minutes) - Self-service utensils, napkins, to-go boxes, ketchup, water (no plates though) - Remember to return trays at the entrance :) Cons: - Mabulro sauce has changed from during the pop-up and doesn't have the same heat or dried pepper toppings. I love this K-mall! They have a great selection of new shops I've never heard of, which makes it worth the visit. This was my first time trying this chicken spot, and it was definitely worth the trip. It's now my new favorite place for wings! The sauces aren't heavy or overly salty--the seasoning was perfect. My grandson, wife and I went in for a late night dinner and the server completely dismissed for not being Korean. We were sat in tonight and 10-15 minutes later another group of patrons came who happened to be Korean just walked in, she walked by us and cleaned up their table. She then left and came back bringing them water then took off without acknowledging us. She came back to the other group speaking in Korean then back to the other table who came after us to take their order without saying anything us again. There were only 3 tables with diners outside so it was impossible to miss us and this was being done on purpose. I went back inside to see if I can speak to a manager but she came up to me to do damage control as she knew my family was upset. She admitted that she saw us and acknowledged that it was rude of her then disingenuously apologized.
