We have been going on a weekly basis-usually great. On Sunday-not so good. I made reservations and requested my usual table-nope they gave it away and were completely oblivious to my reservations-ruining the ambience. Secondly, out of my beer. I was compt a different choice (knowing I was not happy about the failure to keep my reservations and now out of my favorite beer). Then, the waitress did not get our order correct-even after returning to ask our choices for a second time. Lastly, my chicken (sammich) and our potatoes were burnt. The Ambiance of this place is AMAZING! My friend and I loved the decor, especially the stickers on the piano stand. We ordered chips and salsa and the BamBam shrimp! It was absolutely delicious! I love this place but the service is consistently bad. We were sat and then ignored for about 10-15 min, no drink orders taken. Multiple people walking by us and no one seemed to know who our server was. Bartender was talking to others and our drinks took another 10ish min to come. I was hoping the next wing was cooked through but after finishing them, they all weren't cooked all the way. I very rarely post negative reviews, but dang, my food was terrible today. We've been here a handful of times, food is good, not great. It's Flagstaff, we look forward to new restaurants and this one has been a disappointment. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and our mozzarella sticks were luke warm. Bummer. Then they brought out my Chicken Tender dinner $20 and I'm not even exaggerating, I got three tiny chicken tenders, I wish I would've taken a picture, a kid's meal would've been better, I pointed out that I literally got three tiny pieces of chicken and they were dumbfounded that it was plated and sent out that way. They brought out a few more pieces that were actually hot. My husband's smashed burger was more bun than burger. The GM was there the whole time, you'd think quality control would be number one. Been to the Flagstaff Porch many times. The staff are always on point: friendly, know their way around the food and bar, and will happily chat you up about whatever, I love that the menu have options beyond standard bar chow. My go to items are the bowls, the pork stew and the egg rolls. And of course the smash burgers. read more

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which had little to no chicken -- you honestly get more at Chili's for half the price. My husband had a basic hamburger, nothing fancy, and we had a small dessert. The prices were high, and it took an hour and a half to receive our food dinner it came with the salad next to the sandwich. It was not served before the meal. You have to ask for that if you want a soup or salad before your meal comes. We won't be coming back, even though we live very close to this place. Ok - as an update, I was midpoint when we went during their soft opening, today was our 4th visit - this is an organization that has/is listening to feedback. Lunch was great - Hubs had the Bam Bam Shrimp that he said was great. I had the Chicken Tenders that I bashed on my first review - and today they stood up to their name on the menu! Service at the bar was spot on! The space is inviting, including family friendly. I will go all in that this is a great addition to the Flag restaurant space! This place is fairly new, so everything inside feels new and clean. They've got a pretty big bar, seems like it would be a fun place to come watch a game. The food was great, we had the lanai burger, Nashville hot chicken Sammy, and the pretzel.
