    Pull Apart Pretzel

Unique Spot with Incredible Food and Vibes The Porter really impressed me this place has a unique feel that stands out right away. The atmosphere is seriously cool. Bar up front, dining area in the back, and it gives off a true beer cellar vibe. Service was great. Our server was friendly, attentive, and checked in just the right amount without overdoing it. Food-wise, I was very impressed. We started with the pretzel appetizer with a white cheese dip, and it was excellent. Not your typical starter definitely feels like a staple item here. I also tried a Georgia cider, which was smooth, slightly sweet, and really easy to drink. The smash burger was a standout. Cooked perfectly, held together well, and the sauce was incredible. I easily could've eaten two. The fries had a Parmesan garlic-style seasoning, and I finished every last one. Overall, everything here was great. There's a lot more on the menu I want to try, and I'll definitely be back. Ratings: Atmosphere: 5/5 Food Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Vibe: 5/5 Overall: Easy 5/5, no notes, just show up hungry.

Amazing joint in an amazing neighborhood. Lovely outside dining area to enjoy an evening with friends or make new ones. The pretzel bun was sooooo goood. But the star for me was the shrimp toast. I would kill for that exact recipe. I live in Northern Illinois ans will probably never make it back but that sauce is burned in my mind.

Started with the pulled pretzel with the cheese dip. Realllly good and hit the spot. Had the Fish and Chips as a main. The fish was massive light and tasty, tartar sauce was great. The fries tho were a bit over seasoned. Way too salty for me. I would dial that back but overall really good. I would come back. Staff was nice and attentive. The decor and layout I dug as well.

This place is on my Atlanta favorites. Amazing beer list here and it consistently rotates-- I highly recommend just for that alone. They also have a rare aged beer list as well. I've tried the fries hen of the woods mushrooms and their French onion soup, and they were both tasty. I usually come by early (before 6:30) because the dinner rush can get a little crazy.

I stopped here for some small plates with friends. I had never visited before the closure, but the place looks great now. Alcohol selection is huge. I'm really just writing this to talk about the fried hen of the woods mushrooms. Oh. My. God. I thought about these for weeks afterward. The batter was so crunchy and well-seasoned. Despite being quite large mushrooms, the interior was cooked perfectly. Cut them open and get a smear of the French onion dip they're served on... just wow.

Sweet spot for drinks and bites in Little Five Points. Great selection of beers and spirits. Friendly staff too!

Left work early on a Friday and was headed to one of my favorite places The Vortex. Decided I didn't need another burger. I used to go to the Porter years ago and had been anticipating the reopening. Wow was it delicious. I used to love the fish and chips. Man have they elevated that to a whole other level. FANTASTIC. I tried the hefeweizen beer. So darn good. I will definitely be back. Heck probably need to leave work early again.

The food here was really good and such a cool spot. The service was a little confusing as we had three different servers throughout our dinner. I had the smash burger, the pretzel and I had to try the salt and vinegar popcorn. The pretzel was amazing. The popcorn was also very interesting, I still don't know how I feel about it. They also had a large drink menu.

This rating is purely on my experience getting some drinks and no food. I was scoping out locations near my work conference for some unique beers. This place popped up as having a huge tap list and some hard to find beers. It's located near a funky intersection that had my Uber driver guessing where it was. It has a unique, funky vibe, in a good way. They have a huge, long bar and then I believe seating in the rear, as well as our front. The bartender was very nice and helpful. They indeed had some beers that I would never find back home and ones that I have wanted to try. Their beer list is immense, both draft and bottles. Their bartender worked hard finding a patron near me to find something that would fit her palate and apparently did a good job. The pricing was okay, not great considering the serving size, but what I ordered was also not readily available things. If we didn't have dinner plans perhaps I would have sampled some food, the menu looked decent.

Fish & grits -- the OUTKAST tribute. Fried haddock, shrimp gravy, grits, bacon bits.

I came here because they advertised that they had 60 beers on tap. The selection was really good and I enjoyed the beers there. But what really caught my attention was the fish and grits meal that they had for the brunch menu. The fish was fried perfectly and the grits with gravy was so delicious. It had shrimp and bacon bits in it. The bartender checked on us once while we were there but the food came out really quickly. Overall the vibe was really chill when I went there on a Saturday afternoon and I would definitely love to come back again.

Newly reopened spot in five points. They have a good food menu and a huge drink menu. If you like beer, this is a great spot. We got the goat cheese fritters and the smash burger. The fritters were so good! It came with 5 so plenty to split. The smash burger was pretty good. It came with a lot of fries!

As for the food, I've really only ever tried their smokehouse burger, Asian-style loaded fries, and chocolate chip cookie skillet. The burger is super juicy and perfectly cooked, while the sauces and crispy bacon married it together. I've tried the Asian-style loaded fries (pictured below) twice now, and I honestly don't recommend it unless you like your char siu pork to be drenched in salt. It was nearly inedible both times. So I hit the x on the screen to close out of the other customers transaction, and the bartender rushed over and started berating me with "what are you doing you don't touch that" and even had the audacity to ask "you didn't put anything in did you?!??" At which point we explained and placed our order with drinks took the flag with the table number to go sit down After which, the bartender came to our table and was somehow even more of an asshole, and told us that "you're supposed to wait for these diet cokes I can't bring them to you" We were both quite angry. This person is awful. I don't know why anyone would behave this way with customers. It's not acceptable and reflects quite poorly on the establishment that this person works there. We wish everyone the best but will not be returning in the future. I don't recommend anyone eat here.

The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.
