    Crack fries and wings

I highly recommend this place! Everything we tried was delicious, and they have a great variety of both wet and dry wings. The Heat Check wings were excellent but definitely fire , and the Dynamite wings are a great dry option--like Garlic Parmesan with a twist. The service was also top-notch. Service was excellent. The only thing is that they advertised $0.50 wings on Instagram, but they don't tell you that you have to buy a side in order to get 6 wings at that price. The sides are between $10 and $15, so we ended up paying $40-something dollars for 12 wings and 2 sides. I didn't mind paying because the quality of the food was so good, but I think they should specify that rule on the advertisement.

Came here late in the AM. I was eyeing the BLUE DREAM, and coming from CALI I had to get this (Was a popular choice too). The buffalo sauce on this is blazin! Probably the best buffalo hot sauce chicken I've had. That all AMERICAN hot sauce. I gotta get used to how sour it is! The fried portion was on point. Good crunch, with good sauce = HITTER! Spice level was HOT like Texas heat. No sweat though. The chicken sizes were BIG, but I don't expect nothin small out here. Also the young man was really nice to give food to homeless! God bless.

Potluck wings are now our absolute go to when craving wings in Austin! Hands down the best you will find in Austin. You may think they are a bit pricey, but we compared the prices to a chain like Pluckers and it's the same. Our 1st time there we were given a few samples. All were great. I say try all the flavors at least once and keep track of which ones you like LOL they are all packed with flavor and huge wing size. The fries...ehh I'll pass, buuuut the wings soooo good! Fav flavors so far are the Loose Cannon and Crack. Check them out!

The chicken wings are crispy and flavorful. I received a free sample wing to try while I waited for my food. It was hot and fresh. The dry rub was tangy and spicy, a great combination! I got my food to go. The fries were hot, crispy, and seemed to have a similar seasoning on top. They are crinkle-cut fries and were so good. The presentation was good and the portion size is great. The service was amazing. The women that helped me was super friendly and the free sample wing was a nice touch! The restaurant decor is fun and spacious. I can't wait to return and try other wings!

We have been thinking about swinging by the Potluck for some time and we found them on "Too good to go" so we figure today was the day to try them. The staff were super friendly and welcoming when I walked in. The wings were huge and we really enjoyed the flavors. The fry's were great and well seasoned too. We will definitely be back to try all the different flavors they offer.

We tried the truck potluck, and it was so amazing that we had to go to the actual restaurant!!! Annabell was nothing but amazing!!! we noticed their menu is a little bit different than the truck, but nevertheless it was still amazing!! from service to how clean the places it was awesome all around!!

Crack. A little bit of everything with zest & lemon. Flavor explosion!

Wow the wings here are next level. Like made in a genius mad scientist's lab of flavors. All the flavors just explode in your mouth!!

2-Star Review -- TikTok Set Me Up. I found this place on TikTok and was excited to try it... but honestly, they lied. I drove 30 minutes to pick up the Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, and three wing flavors -- Hot Girl Stardust, Loose Cannon, and Crack. As soon as we got home and started eating, everything was insanely salty. Me and my husband both felt our blood pressure go up immediately. Not only that, but every single wing looked identical and tasted identical. You couldn't tell one flavor from another because it felt like they just dumped random seasoning all over everything. Customer service was just as disappointing. When we walked in, a girl came from behind a black door looking surprised that someone was even there. I asked her for recommendations and got nothing useful -- and communication was honestly difficult. The restaurant itself wasn't welcoming at all -- no customers, sticky tables, and flies inside. Fast service, sure... but fast doesn't equal good. Only good thing? The chicken underneath all that seasoning was cooked well. But overall, this was a complete waste of gas, money, and time. TikTok had me fooled -- won't be back.

Everything we tried here was really good. We got the bonnie and clyde wings (buffalo and lemon pepper). Customer service was amazing and they even let us try a few different flavors. Wings were crispy and big. TV's to watch a show while eating was a plus. Restroom is also clean. Price is pretty steep tbh. Almost $50 without tip with just ordering 10 wings, 1 order of fries, 2 sodas and ranch.

    Wings

The Pot Luck did not disappoint! The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can tell they really know how to do wings right. On top of the great food, Shar provided 10 out of 10 service--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to for wings done right.

Toogood2go order picked up. 7.99 and the portion was pretty good. Soft breadcrumb fry on the wings.
    Paul R.

Good enough for a 3 but not a 3.5. Toogood2go not the best here, need my wings crispy.

Spicy Boys has four locations in the Austin area, with probably their most popular at Zilker Brewing. They are a spicy chicken establishment and their spicy chicken comes in different shapes and sizes from bone-in fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, and nuggets. I have only ever ordered their fried chicken sandwich and every time, I have been a fan. I always get their middle option in heat, the Hot Gai, which is sandwiched between the OG and the Tingly Gai. It hits every time. The mayonnaise, the pickles, the perfectly crisp chicken: you can't miss it. As a side, I ALWAYS without fail get their Tater Tots. They are consistently crispy while remaining soft on the inside. Sometimes I will get it seasoned with their Tingly Sichuan, but the heat is sometimes too much. I cannot recommend the tots enough. Spicy Boys is one of those places that is always there for you. They are consistently open and the people making the orders are putting a ton of dedication into making them smack every time. The sandwich alone comes at $9.50 with the tots at $3.50, which seems on par or slightly lower than a typical food truck if my memory serves me right. I recommend giving them a shot whether you are at Spokesman in Pflugerville, St. Elmo Brewing, or Zilker off 6th Street. It's in the upper echelon of food trucks. RIYL: peak chicken sammys

The sound and TVs were all pretty great for watching the game, and they had a ton of space. It was nice having the fake grass and picnic tables in the outdoor areas because it really added to the vibe while still being well shaded throughout. The food was good. During the game we shared the Fried Pickles, which were crispy and well breaded with good pickle chips, as well as their Green Chili Queso, which was also excellent. The chips had good seasoning and the queso was thick. For a main entrée, I ordered the patty melt. It was melty with good flavor, but I would have preferred chopped onions over sliced onions. The Sriracha mayo was great and added a kick I was not expecting. The drinks were decently priced for East 6th all things considered. I was not drinking that night and ordered a mocktail variation of their Lavender Haze using zero proof Empress gin instead of the regular Empress gin. They still charged the same price, which felt a little unfair, but it is what it is. Overall, it was a great experience and a solid bar for games. I could see myself coming back for another event since they handled a large crowd well. Aesthetically, the spot is really nice too, which adds to the positives. Not bad for a last minute decision. It looked like the front parking lot had been freshly painted because every parking space was blocked off with cones. Everything appeared dry, so I wasn't sure why the cones were still there. That forced everyone to park in the back, which was already super congested. I mentioned it to the staff, but they didn't seem too concerned.
