This was my first time here and was unfortunately disappointed. Online pictures make it seem like the food is great and don't get me wrong the Service and Ambiance are fine but the food needs a lot of work. The portions were smaller than expected, the mac and cheese most importantly was very watery and flavorless. The chicken that came with it also had no flavor, you could tell it was just regular frozen chicken from someplace like walmart. The chicken sandwich and hamburgers were also flavorless.. the bread ontop of each you could tell it was just the cheapest store bought buns. This place has potential with the actual ambiance and staff /service. Food wise... needs lots of work. Maybe it's more just a place for some beer and nachos. read more

The Pour House is an easy place to grab a beer and some food with friends/coworkers. The servers are friendly, there seems to always be a spot by the bar or a table (outdoors too), the drink list is large, and the food is okay. I've had the fried pickles (very good) and the tuna tacos (pretty good). There is definitely something on the menu for everyone. I'll most likely be back but more for convenience and for social gatherings but not because I'm craving the food. read more

Have been a few times for drinks, and have always enjoyed it. Got to take my two faves, my GF and my daughter, to lunch on a late summer Thursday. The beer list was fabulous - lots of interesting and unique choices, with several selections from local breweries right around the corner that I had never seen or tasted (Troegs, Levante) as well as a deep bench from out of town (3 Floyds, Bruery). Well done! Service was great, and we wiped out the delicious Nashville Hot Nachos like it was our job. The kids menu was extensive and did the job, although my suspicion is they just microwaved my daughters mac and cheese instead of making it fresh. She wasn't complaining, though, and ate all of it. My lovely GF enjoyed her Southern Fried Chicken Tacos, and I took the recommendation of our server and had the Pickleback Burger - man am I glad I did! Perfectly cooked, delicious and flavorful fried pickles, whiskey onions, creamy horseradish and melted Vermont White Cheddar Cheese. Yum! I visited the Pour House with friends on Black Friday and there was a 15 minute wait but we ended up grabbing seats in the bar area even faster. Our waitress was attentive and efficient even though it was pretty busy! Our drinks and food came out very quickly - we were surprised since there was a crowd and of course pleased. I got the All American burger and it was great, not too giant but had a lot of flavor. A friend got their special fries which were likened to Chickies and Petes and they were delicious. Ate here yesterday for the first time. Went home and not even half an hour later, puking all night, severe stomach cramps, diarrhea. I am pregnant and now worried about my little one. Amazing beer options on the draft. Although the food menu doesn't change much they do have weekly specials. Definitely recommend this place.

We arrived just before 7pm on a Wednesday and seated within 10-12 minutes. Our waitress was super efficient. My order for fish and chips came with a very generous portion of fish, I substituted the butternut squash for the potatoe wedges. My granddaughter ordered the Apple and Gouda salad. While visiting PA me and my coworkers came out for a dinner here. It was pretty good and the service was excellent. Our waitress was super nice and incredibly patient with all 4 of us. I ordered the white peach margarita and it was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite but it was a good mix of sweet and sour and the peach purée gave it a bit of texture. I also got the short rib tacos which had juicy and tender rib meat. They definitely marinated it very well. The toppings were a great compliment too. The green chile salsa gave it a little kick that went well with the freshness of the pico de gallo. And you can never go wrong with queso on a taco. The flour tortilla were cooked just right as well, I loved how they were soft with just a little bit of crispness and crunch. Great place, great vibe, great staff. Love love love this place. The beer list is fantastic, and the food is delicious. On my last visit, I decided to try their pesto grilled cheese, and polished off one of my favorite beers from one of my favorite breweries: Belly Flop from the Manayunk Brewery up in Philly. The staff is also very friendly, and was accommodating to our party. We were there on the 4th of July, and wanted to watch the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. My fiancée and I stopped by The Pour House for the Eagles 2018 season opener after our TV suddenly stopped working. We figured this would be as good a place as any to watch the game, and we were proven right. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We ordered some wings and I got the Ahi Tuna Poke Salad. Both dishes were really delicious and well prepared, and the servings were very generous. My only complaint was that the booths were pretty uncomfortable. This may not be noticeable when staying for a quick bite, but when staying for a game, it got pretty uncomfortable. All in all, I'll definitely be coming back to The Pour House, whether to watch a game or just for food and drink. read more

Like a menu dominated by burgers & sandwiches, yet a seafood raw bar stand sits off to one side inviting an order of freshly shucked oysters (buck-a-shuck on Wed.). This eclectic mix makes it hard to get a handle on the essence of the place. I would guess it has a very different feel depending upon the day/time and crowd. Found myself looking for a place to eat with me and the family. Started from Norristown and ended up in Exton. Don't ask, it was one of those nights. Got to the Pour House and the wait was 20 minutes but the placed screamed give me a chance. The ladies up front were great. Buzzer went off and we got the booth I asked for to help corral my 5 year old. Crayons followed which were ditched wanting the tablet as the wife and I browsed the menu. Burgers were on the greasy/buttery side. Also, shoestring french fries have no place in a restaurant any longer. Burger was cooked as requested and the roll was fantastic. Just can't get over the butter though. I think they may have buttered the roll on the grill for a bit. Ordered the Pumpkin beer they had on tap which was served cold. Multiple bartenders but beers were on the slow side. Place was packed with drinkers though. Probably not a stop if your just interested in food. WiFi is on the slow side but available. Staff is great and very professional. This means when it is busy they don't fall apart or look like they just been through a 15 hour shift. Mainly a craft beer location. Frankly, I can't recall if they had domestic swill not that I drink that stuff anyway. Bathrooms are on the clean side. I travel to Exton maybe twice per year on business. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn on Pottstown Pike. Not more than 150 feet from my hotel is The Pourhouse. Whenever I give three stars it's usually a mysterious combination of things. This review is no different. Upon entering Pourhouse in Exton, I'm greeted by somebody with little to no personality. I don't know about you but personality goes a long way where I'm from. The menu, both for beer and food is phenomenal, which is why I'm able to give a three star rating. But why do we go out? To feel good and be treated right. My waitress, who shall remain nameless, was absolutely great. I realize that I was taking up a whole table by myself, which means less of a total bill. But I had a few beers and ordered food to go. I gave $60 for a $38 bill and told her to keep the rest, but not even an acknowledgement to my generosity. Just a half-hearted thank you. Not only was that disheartening but icing on the cake as far as poor service is concerned. I'm usually a very generous tipper, and I'm usually acknowledged for being that. Very rarely am I treated like Joe Schmoe for providing over 50% tip. Today I realized there is a World of Beer nearby. Think I'll bring my generous business elsewhere! read more

I just found it because I was in Exton after a doctor's appointment and needed a bite. It seemed like a good idea to come here. I didn't go special with the beer. I do enjoy the good beers, but this time a Yards Pale Ale worked well for me. But I did splurge on the Second Coming Burger which they tout so heavily. At $14.99, which is in the range of what places like Rouge charge for burgers (about $3 less currently), I expected something close to greatness. I got goodness at the very least. The burger is insanely juicy, which is a plus. I enjoyed the sauce on it, though I had expectations set for more tomatoes on it as they seem to bury that part of it. The fries that come along with it are nothing terribly special but good enough. I don't think it's worth the price they charge. But I'd eat it again if it were handed to me for sure. I do like the atmosphere and the classic rock motif they have going. I'd come back. read more

What's not to love about The Pour House? I appreciate a good pun, great beer selection, delicious food, and good looking servers. The Pour House has it all. The bar is huge, there are plenty of TVs, a raw oyster bar, and standing tables near the bar/TVs for larger groups that still want that rowdy bar atmosphere, but can't fit at the ever-so-popular bar. Rock and Roll flows from the speakers and its paraphernalia decorates the walls. It's definitely my kind of bar. They have buck-a-shuck ($1 oysters) Wednesdays and $4 beer specials everyday. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I recommend any of their burgers (try it on a soft pretzel bun) or fish tacos. read more

I rated this place 2 stars because of food. My boyfriend and I are big IPA fans. Pour house had Knee Deep Breaking Bud on tap one night and that got us going. It was really good. The place always gets good beers. We always check their taps when it comes to happy hour. We decided to try chili, three cheese crap dip, and pork nachos. Chili and crap dip were very good. However, pork nachos was disgusting. Don't you ever try. They mixed pork fat and skin in the dish. Chips were bad too, sticking together like big hunks. Awful. read more

Mediocre food, AWFUL service. All of the employees are college aged or younger and the waitress I had was as rude as can be her name was Julie. Rolled her eyes multiple times and was so slow.
