Great bite! Saturday brunch is busy. We were attended to fast, and regularly asked if we were good. The staff were friendly and patient given the rush. I left happy full and refreshed. The vibe was busy this time but over all very cute, and relaxing. Great colors really using the light to make the tiny space feel welcoming and open.

Fresh, intentionally prepared food, fancy lattes that are ready to drink. So good for a nice patio experience.

Great spot with great options . Menu has lots of breakfast items and lunch items. Coffee here is also great . This spot has outdoor and indoor seating and does get packed .

Came by for lunch with friends. the staff was helpful in putting together a table for us all outside, it was so nice that day but it ended up being too much of a hassle b/c some of us would've been out in the sun even w/the umbrellas so we were able to snag the large table in the back, inside. I enjoyed my sandwich, the food is delicious. It's a nice casual spot, you go up and order at the counter, then they bring your food to you.

So on our way to SF this weekend we stopped in Livermore for a quick bite. We found this place, nice ambience downtown, and had easy parking close. For brunch my wife had the avocado toast, she absolutely loved it. I had the ham cheese and pickles...Now, if you love pickles, like I do...this is for you. If not, do not get. But for me, I loved my sandwich and loved the pickles. For drinks we got some lemonades, mine regular, my wife lavender. So refreshing...we want to come back to try the other items, since we pass through ever so often we will try. Def recommend.

We came here for brunch post yoga. While the line seems long, it moves pretty fast so don't be alarmed! We were worried about seating, but people are pretty respectful and leave when they're done eating. I appreciated the little fly fan deterrents that were placed on the tables. Overall, the food is good and aesthetic. Can't wait to come back!

The Press is a cute little artisan cafe in downtown Livermore. I ordered a cold brew with a splash of almond milk + the turkey pesto panini. The cold brew was great! The turkey pesto panini was good, but was more on the lighter side in terms of overall taste. I think it would have been better if paired with a side of tomato soup to dip it in. I came on a weekday so there was easy street parking and no wait, but by the time I left there was a line out the door. They do bring your order to your chosen table and also clear it afterwards.

It was my first time trying The Press and it was so good! The staff were so nice and welcoming. They have so many good options of brunch and breakfast! Everything I tried was so good. Definitely can't wait to come back already. The inside was super cute, little flower decor and felt cozy.

Solid 4! I definitely like this location better than Pleasanton. Less crowded and just as delicious! Still, very lively - so many people were there. Great place to meet friends for brunch. Their weekend brunch menu was a nice surprise - ordered the monte cristo and I swear I inhaled my food. Hard to find parking but worth it when you do. A nice staple in Livermore

High quality ingredient array of drinks and everything is just so fresh. Breakfast tacos, yogurt bowl, and the turkey Reuben are my favorites. The ambiance is also nice. Friendly staff.

Stopped by after a hike in the area around 1 PM, and I was definitely hungry for lunch! This place is a popular spot, but luckily we were able to get a table right away. The ordering system is casual--you place your order at the counter, and then they bring your food to your table. They had some weekend and seasonal specials, which was a nice touch, and the café has both indoor and outdoor seating. I loved that they even had blankets available outside for anyone wanting to stay a little warmer. By the afternoon, there weren't many pastries left, so unfortunately I didn't get to try any of their gluten-free options. What I ordered: a lavender lemonade and their Lizzy's Grits special. My friends got the chia pudding with a side of bacon and a latte, and a turkey panini with a side salad. Our food came out in about 15 minutes, and everything looked fresh and delicious. I ate every bite of my grits special--it was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I also tried their hot sauce, but it was more vinegar-forward than I like, so I'm glad I didn't put it all over my meal. This is definitely a cute spot in downtown Livermore. Parking can be tricky, so I'd recommend using a nearby garage (it's free). I'll definitely be bookmarking this café and would love to try other menu items or visit their other locations when I'm in the area.

On our drive to San Francisco we stopped by Livermore to have lunch. I found The Press on Yelp, it had some good reviews. The coffee was delicious so was the gluten free donut but the sandwiches we ordered we weren't too thrilled about them. I got a breakfast Sammy with sausage but the sausage tasted weird and I didn't like the tomato jam on it. I should have said to not use it. My husband got a ham and cheese grilled sandwich and said it was ok. Not great but not bad either. Location is good, ambiance is good and customer service is good. Friendly and attentive staff. Overall an ok love to eat when in the area.

Cute Spot with Great Drinks and Friendly Service We stopped by The Press and enjoyed the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. There's seating both inside and outside -- we chose to sit outdoors, which was really cute and relaxing. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. I had the avocado + egg, which was fresh but would've been better with a poached egg instead of hard boiled, and a little more citrus for balance. The caramel latte was delicious -- probably my favorite part! The affogato was also tasty, but the ice cream-to-coffee ratio felt off -- there was so much ice cream I had to eat some just to pour the coffee in. My husband had the peach summer melt panini and loved the flavors, but it was a bit bread-heavy, with two slices in the middle that didn't have any filling between them. Overall, it's a charming spot with creative options, delicious drinks, and a staff that really makes you feel welcome. Just a few tweaks and it would be an easy go-to!

Ambiance was off. Didn't feel very inclusive. People didn't seem genuine and my husband and I didn't feel very welcome.

Food choices are very nice. Quinoa salad was very good as well as the coffee drinks. Wish there were more desserts.

It was grilled shrimp in a yummy buttery, garlic, Cajun flavored sauce. The lasagna was good. I like it with more red sauce but that's my preference. It's small so not a lot of seating but super cute. They had a World Cup game on which was pretty cool too!

A Decent Downtown Spot with Great Salmon but Slow Service…read more We came to Maple Street Eatery, located at the end of the street in charming downtown Livermore, for lunch around 12:30 on a Saturday. It was very busy, and we had to wait approximately 20 minutes to get a table. Once seated, it took our server another 10 minutes just to come over and take our order. They were clearly low on staff, but to their credit, the staff members were definitely friendly despite the rush. The food quality varied quite a bit across our table: The highlight of the meal was the Blackened Atlantic Wild Salmon, which my wife ordered. It was served over Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and roasted seasonal organic vegetables, all topped with a lemon, butter, caper, and white wine sauce. This dish was an absolute 5/5--perfectly executed. I ordered the 14 oz New York Steak with scalloped potatoes and charred organic seasonal vegetables, topped with cowboy butter. I asked for it medium-well and really enjoyed the steak, giving it a solid 4/5. My friend ordered Mama's Crispy Tacos (two chicken and one potato), which came with cotija, lettuce, avocado, crema, and pico de gallo, served alongside a spicy green salsa and pinto bean smash. They rated this a good 4/5. On the flip side, my friend also tried the Grilled Baja Prawn Tacos. Served on flour tortillas over a bed of mixed greens with pineapple salsa and chipotle sauce, this dish really lacked flavor and was a disappointing 2/5. We also started with the Seasonal Mixed Greens salad, which came with green apple slices, candied pecans, seasonal berries, and a white balsamic vinaigrette on the side. This was just okay, landing at a 3/5. Overall, Maple Street Eatery is a decent place for brunch or lunch. If the service becomes more efficient and a few of the food items are improved to match the quality of the salmon and steak, we would definitely make this a regular spot to visit.
