Came here for lunch with family while visiting Nashville, and absolutely fell in love with this place. Lively vibe, fast service and great food. This British pub gives you a nice break from the traditional Nashville chicken that permeates most of the menus in the city. Our larger party was seated in a private room, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We started with the Belhaven Beer Cheese and Fried Pickles. Being from Wisconsin, I'm used to beer cheese dip being served in the middle of a giant salted pretzel. Here, there were soft pretzel pieces and fresh veggies. Amazing. Healthy and indulgent! The pickles were hot and crunchy on the outside, and perfectly tender on the inside. The creamy dill sauce was the perfect accompaniment, and a nice change from the usual ranch. As a main meal, my husband had the Sausage Roll and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders (my first hot chicken experience in Nashville). The Sausage Roll was a nice take on the classic roll (which we've had in the UK), made of ground sausage instead of a full sausage link. It also came with two dipping sauces, since that's a classic American thing. The sliders were perfectly sized, and I liked that the honey was served on the side, so I could decide how much I wanted on each bite. What a great and quirky and fun Pub in Nashville! It's right across the street from one of the hotels I usually stay in, so I've had a chance to pop in for a treat while waiting for my room. My hubby and friends have come to have a quick drink and bite and it's just always good vibes. Sometimes it's INSANE and LOUD and BUMPIN because of a game or match, and other times it's more chill and you can watch whatever is on the screen/tv and just chill. Either way, it's a lot of fun. The food is solid pub food -- we've enjoyed everything we've tried here and really don't have any complaints. I don't find a Scotch Egg many places, so I usually order when I see on the menu. Love it. Service is good, but also really depends on what is going on -- we haven't had to wait long nor have we had any issues with putting in orders or refills, but just manage expectations depending on why and when you are here. read more

When you walk into the Pub you immediately notice the immersive and beautiful decor, it's a very nice and big space! Our server was really wonderful, she was personable and helpful even when we had a bunch of questions and dietary restrictions. It's not reflected on the menu so I think it's worth noting they have a black bean burger on the menu for vegetarians- I think they should definitely put it on the menu since there aren't really other veggie friendly entrees. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience with our food. The chicken spring rolls were the biggest hit, the sausage rolls were good but strangely sweet and maple flavored which wasn't in the description. The chicken gouda pasta was a real miss for me, there was no bacon on it which was in the description, and it was flavorless and mushy. I actually sent it back which I never do. I asked to replace it with the Pub Poutine, which they kindly did, but unfortunately it was extremely salty and difficult to eat as well. The Pub has the coolest pub environment ever. They are cool chairs and tables, booths, and tall tops, but the bar is amazing! They have an extensive bar menu and can pretty much come up with anything you want to drink. Our server was super nice and provided me with samples of a couple different brews before I settle on the traditional ale from a local brewery. Hubby got a Guinness, my daughter opted for a $5 green tea shot. The artichoke dip w/naan bread was awesome. The Reuben spring rolls w/ corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss and fried in an egg roll wrap are quite yummy. The sausage roll was ok, not one of our faves. Hubby had the fish and chips. The fish was light and crispy. The chips were ok, but could've been crispy. I had the Mahi Mahi sliders. It was supposed to be a pineapple chutney but honestly it was just a slice of canned pineapple, so it was disappointing. I think it was the last evening of it being on the specials menu and they took shortcuts. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken curry soup. It smelled and tasted delicious. The bean burger was an ok option for our vegetarian friend but they could have a few more vegetarian options. My daughter ordered the chicken Gouda pasta but didn't like it. She thought the pasta was overcooked, didn't have enough bacon or seasoning. They were super nice and offered her a different meal. Instead she got the pub poutine and found the sauce delightful. Stopped in for a quick bite. I had the Caesar and it was really good. The croutons were house made and forkable which I love. Excellent flavor to the dressing and the greens were fresh. The side of English chips was delicious!! Super fluffy inside and fried crisp on the outside. The lavender cocktail was perfect on a spring day. The curry was really good and full of flavor. We sat outside and the patio was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the music was so loud it was a little hard to hear and we were seated right next to one another. Feeling British? This is the place to be. I like British pub food so we decided to check out The Pub. The whiskey flights were very well priced. We got 2 so we could try a variety. Excellent choices. For food, we both got fish. I got fish and chips while he got a fish sandwich. The fish and chips comes in 3 sizes. I got the medium but the fish was humongous so I should have gotten the mini. Last night we went to The Pub Nashville, as I always want to visit when in town. Our server, Audrey, was pleasant and even gave us a shot for FORGETTING OUR ORDER COMPLETELY. Absolutely lame, I was hungry and left without food. How do you take an order, when your painfully slow, and never extend it to the kitchen. I'm not going back, not ever... Service: The service is fairly quick, although this pub can start filling up at noon. The waitress was extremely helpful in suggesting the kind of beer to possibly opt for. Bites: They offer a lot of classic British food from Sheppard's pie, Scottish eggs to off course my favorite Fish & Chips. The fish & chips were excellent, with the beer-battered haddock tasting delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips are thick rather than very crispy, but they pair well with the fish and are served with coleslaw and tartare sauce. Although a British pub, their portion is generous as American. Suggestion: Since the pub is located close to popular tourist spots, it can be challenging to find a table on a weekend afternoon. We came to The Pub Nashville to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and had such a great time! The bar has a cool, eclectic Irish-English pub vibe that sets the perfect atmosphere. The food was amazing -- the fish and chips were perfectly crispy, the fried dill pickles were a hit, and the pub burgers were fabulous! We had a group of 14, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us in an almost semi-private area, which made it even more special. Our server was outstanding -- friendly, attentive, and so patient with our big group. They even helped us celebrate with Jell-O shots for the birthday girls, which made the day extra fun! As someone who grew up Chinese and understands that yelling is the 6th love language, it means a lot to me. I was recommended to go here from a friend and it did not disappoint. The decor is fun and a little funky with a playful British theme. Our husbands both had the Bloody Mary's and said they were fantastic. I had an espresso martini and it was also super good. We all loved our meals but my favorite were the biscuits. They were the best I've had in decades, perfectly flaky and doughy all at the same time, YUM! A whole bunch of meh and was honestly concerned for safety on the outdoor patio. Seated under an active man-lift operation. The whole outdoor patio was technically under the lift. A big no-no plus the constant starting of the engine was maddening. No problem, asked to move inside and they were very accommodating. Mentioned the safety aspect to the host and he was non-plussed. Food was standard pub fare that was less than average and plain. My salad was wilted badly and the sandwich meat was way overcooked and dry. Server was very pleasant. So why the two stars? The cleanliness was not good. Ceiling vents had what appeared to be mold. Trash on the floor, dirty dishes stacked up and the bathrooms were very dirty. We were here for a conference and we had went to 3 different brunch places all with waits over 1hr. We l dr and ended up by The Pub and saw they had brunch so we decided to eat here. I'm so glad we did. The service was excellent. We are outside and we had a wonderful waitress. The food was excellent. I had the American breakfast and my fiancée had the Brit breakfast. The potatoes on the American breakfast were amazing, cooked well and great flavor. They have fresh baked biscuits with this very delightful tasting orange marmalade jam. The bacon was cooked to perfection with a little crisp. The fruit cup was refreshing. My fiancée loved the Brit breakfast and was especially taken back with the Brit ham/bacon was the best tasting breakfast meat he's ever had. The ambiance is fun. You get a free postcard with your picture commemorating your visit here, which I thought was a nice touch especially since we were visiting here from CO. You can purchase additional pictures. We ordered the Belhaven beer cheese with pretzels and veggies (yes, it's as creamy and craveable as it sounds), followed by the fish and chips with beer-battered haddock. I've been wanting to visit this place for years after always driving past it in the Gulch. We sat at the bar and the place was pretty empty since it was a weeknight. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very nice. The bar is full service you can order food. They have all kinds of English and Scottish ales to choose from. It seems like this is a great place to watch sports. The fish and chips were pretty good, I ordered the "wee" size and it was still plenty of food. This was a neat little place! They sat 9 of us in less than 15 minutes (everywhere else in the area was a 1.5-2 hour wait) and we got a big table with some royal chairs in a fun, kitschy, "old England" style. The service was pretty fast even though it was fairly busy with lots of people there to watch a soccer game. As for the food, it was pretty solid. The Goat Cheese Dip was good- not something I have had before- and the Scotch Egg was also good and not overly breaded. The Gouda Mac was a little bland but the gouda taste was there. They also serve the Gin and Tonic in the "authentic" British style of a glass of gin where you add your own tonic. It's not as trendy as a lot of the restaurants in the area, but it's a good option if you don't want to wait a long time to be seated! read more
