The Pub has the coolest pub environment ever. They are cool chairs and tables, booths, and tall tops, but the bar is amazing! They have an extensive bar menu and can pretty much come up with anything you want to drink. Our server was super nice and provided me with samples of a couple different brews before I settle on the traditional ale from a local brewery. Hubby got a Guinness, my daughter opted for a $5 green tea shot. The artichoke dip w/naan bread was awesome. The Reuben spring rolls w/ corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss and fried in an egg roll wrap are quite yummy. The sausage roll was ok, not one of our faves. Hubby had the fish and chips. The fish was light and crispy. The chips were ok, but could've been crispy. I had the Mahi Mahi sliders. It was supposed to be a pineapple chutney but honestly it was just a slice of canned pineapple, so it was disappointing. I think it was the last evening of it being on the specials menu and they took shortcuts. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken curry soup. It smelled and tasted delicious. The bean burger was an ok option for our vegetarian friend but they could have a few more vegetarian options. My daughter ordered the chicken Gouda pasta but didn't like it. She thought the pasta was overcooked, didn't have enough bacon or seasoning. They were super nice and offered her a different meal. Instead she got the pub poutine and found the sauce delightful. The chips absorbed the bordelaise sauce perfectly with the mushrooms, onions and cheese.

Medium size fish and chips!

Friendly, fun.., great service. Ambiance spot on. My recommendation is that you order a large and SPLIT IT! The medium too! Huge lovely pieces if fish GENEROUS GENEROUS PORTIONS! Or get WEE ONES !!

Caesar salad and Lavender cocktail.

Stopped in for a quick bite. I had the Caesar and it was really good. The croutons were house made and forkable which I love. Excellent flavor to the dressing and the greens were fresh. The side of English chips was delicious!! Super fluffy inside and fried crisp on the outside. The lavender cocktail was perfect on a spring day. The curry was really good and full of flavor. We sat outside and the patio was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the music was so loud it was a little hard to hear and we were seated right next to one another. Other than that we enjoyed it, and the atmosphere and decor inside are really awesome. Our server was super friendly and made great recommendations. We will definitely be back for dinner.

Very British!

Feeling British? This is the place to be. I like British pub food so we decided to check out The Pub. The whiskey flights were very well priced. We got 2 so we could try a variety. Excellent choices. For food, we both got fish. I got fish and chips while he got a fish sandwich. The fish and chips comes in 3 sizes. I got the medium but the fish was humongous so I should have gotten the mini. The chips were great! Big pieces of potato cooked perfectly. Ambiance was fun and I appreciated that they had some barstools for short people like me! Will definitely go back. I want to try so many things!

Scotch eggs

Yum!!! We came here for appetizers but their menu was amazing. One person in our group ordered the fish and chips and said it was really good. I wanted the scotch eggs and they didn't disappoint! They also had curry sauce for their wings and it was so good! All the standard British fare done well! Service was great as well. Super casual pub atmosphere. It was great!

They were busy and service was a bit slow, but this is my favorite bar in the gulch. They have a huge selection of drinks and beer that I don't find anywhere else (like milk stouts!). I also ate here and had the shepard's pie, which was super warm and filling - perfect for the cold night. The food came out quickly. They had multiple hot sauce options to satisfy my need for spice! I would've liked to try the fish and chips, but it's fried in a shared fryer with shrimp and I have a shellfish allergy.

The Pub is one of the fun sports bars in the neighborhood. Vibes: The Pub exudes a distinctly British atmosphere with its decor, furniture, and accessories, and its exteriors are modeled after classic London corners. While great music plays inside, a "Pour your own beer" Wall stands out as a modern feature you wouldn't find at one of those classic British pubs. Service: The service is fairly quick, although this pub can start filling up at noon. The waitress was extremely helpful in suggesting the kind of beer to possibly opt for. Bites: They offer a lot of classic British food from Sheppard's pie, Scottish eggs to off course my favorite Fish & Chips. The fish & chips were excellent, with the beer-battered haddock tasting delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips are thick rather than very crispy, but they pair well with the fish and are served with coleslaw and tartare sauce. Although a British pub, their portion is generous as American. Suggestion: Since the pub is located close to popular tourist spots, it can be challenging to find a table on a weekend afternoon. It may be best to arrive before 11:30 AM or visit on a weekday.

We came to The Pub Nashville to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and had such a great time! The bar has a cool, eclectic Irish-English pub vibe that sets the perfect atmosphere. The food was amazing -- the fish and chips were perfectly crispy, the fried dill pickles were a hit, and the pub burgers were fabulous! We had a group of 14, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us in an almost semi-private area, which made it even more special. Our server was outstanding -- friendly, attentive, and so patient with our big group. They even helped us celebrate with Jell-O shots for the birthday girls, which made the day extra fun! Highly recommend The Pub for great food, great drinks, and a great time in Nashville!

Extra extra extra crispy fries. Mommy likey.

This place is so fun! I do trivia here on Mondays- wu is the absolute best. He yells at you, but in a fun way. If he yells at you he means he likes you. As someone who grew up Chinese and understands that yelling is the 6th love language, it means a lot to me. I cannot remember her name but the server who recognized me from trivia took my request for "extra extra extra crispy fries. Just burn them." To heart and gave me the most perfectly fried fries. I couldn't have done them better if I tried. Beth- please know who I'm talking about and ensure she gets a raise. She deserves it. I'm literally writing this review because of her. Okay love yall see you Monday

I was recommended to go here from a friend and it did not disappoint. The decor is fun and a little funky with a playful British theme. Our husbands both had the Bloody Mary's and said they were fantastic. I had an espresso martini and it was also super good. We all loved our meals but my favorite were the biscuits. They were the best I've had in decades, perfectly flaky and doughy all at the same time, YUM! I definitely recommend hitting this place up instead of standing in the line across the street for Biscuit Love that went on and on the entire time we were enjoying our cocktails and food.

Fun, vibrant, local scene. Food is amazing. Great atmosphere! Bar service is fantastic. If in Nashville this is a great place to visit!

One can never go wrong with the Pub in the gulch. The food is always fresh and the service is great. Oh, and by the way, their patio is a great place to people watch, as well as make new friends.

The food was great, tasted amazing waffles a tiny bit dry/crunchy, but the whipped cream made up for it. Staff was super kind and helpful. Inside it was super beautiful with all different kinds of decorations including a very interesting telephone booth that had yeti cups inside of it. Overall 9.4/10 experience there would come back. My husband said it was just ok, so he ordered an old fashioned as well and he loved it. The drinks are nice and strong and tasty. We didn't get an appetizer because i wanted to have dessert instead, so for our entrees we got the fish and chips with regular steak fries, and the classic Reuben with sweet potato fries. We split both and they were both delicious! We really enjoyed our food. For dessert we got the Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake and that was incredibly tasty. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday, so there was no band playing Irish music but it really had a nice Irish ambiance in the restaurant. We will definitely be back to try more items.

The music brought energy and a great atmosphere, but was never too loud. We ordered the Scotch Eggs (a must!), fish & chips, bangers & mash, and Bailey's cheesecake. How do you search for:…read more A funky good time where I can listen to Jazz, drink a few libations and have a good steak? Skull's Rainbow Room checks all the boxes. Nashville is a music town, throw a rock and you'll find a great spot at a bar playing music. Some of the bars have a stage where bands are jammin'! I'm looking for something different, something more contemporary, live jazz and a speakeasy feel. Skull's Rainbow Room delivered. Walking up to Printer's Alley, it's already giving off speakeasy vibes. I did my classic move, Get to the restaurant early and tell the waitress I'm so hungry and promise I won't be here all night. Man... I was set up with a great table and was told I have less than two hours. (I mean, I am Bill S from New York, I can be quite persuasive) My waiter comes over, we start talking about the east coast, how he misses New Jersey but loves his new home in Nashville. I order a martini and thick Prime Rib cut along with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. My drink comes out quickly and now I am in the jazz zone. These guys rocked it! Great music along with strong cocktails, I laugh and say to myself: I'm getting paid to be here! My steak comes to the table very quickly. Man this steak cut is a thing of beauty. The au jus with a bite of the truffle mashed potato, heaven. Now the piano player start playing The Love Theme from The Godfather?? Am I in heaven or.. are they trying to seduce me to the other side as I order another cocktail? Just a fantastic night, from the music to the food and libations at Skull's Rainbow Room. My waiter says, it's been two hours, would you like your drink brought to the bar? I declined as I paid my check. Skull's Rainbow Room is a must stop when in Nashville. You can check out any time you want.. but you can never leave!
