I actually celebrated my birthday here last year and this place is always a hit, never a miss! We started with the cucumber and tomato salad and the country bread, and what a delicious combination! We also ordered a side of olive oil, and they seriously have some of the best olive oil I've had in a while. I definitely recommend getting some on the side to dip your country bread in. Trust me! We paired everything with a pitcher of sangria, which gives you about four drinks and was much more economical than ordering individual cocktails. I finally tried the chicken Parmesan, and boy, am I kicking myself for not trying it sooner! The chicken breast was thick, juicy, moist, and perfectly crunchy. Some places make their chicken Parm so thin that it barely feels like you're eating chicken, but this was an actual substantial piece of chicken with the perfect bite. Our waitress told me I could swap out the pasta and sauce that normally come with the chicken Parmesan, so of course I did! I got the rigatoni with vodka sauce, and it was DELIGHTFUL. The portion was massive, so I took leftovers home and yes, I absolutely ate them the very next day! My fiancé got the branzino and wanted something lighter so he could help me with the rigatoni. His plate was beautifully presented, the fish tasted incredibly fresh, and it was exactly what he wanted. Overall, we had another wonderful experience. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back! A special shoutout to our waitress, who was absolutely delightful and told me I could change the pasta and sauce with my chicken Parmesan. You changed my life! You have no idea how happy you made me. I've never seen it like this before and it was extremely tasty. Very tender I would certainly get that dish again. And since I am not a pasta eater, I ordered a side vegetable of broccoli Rob. And we ordered a bottle of the Italian Montepuliciano wine, what was the perfect compliment to our dinner? And this was my birthday. My wife was surprising me she had already pre-ordered their homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers, which would wind up taking with us cause we were kind of full and had later that night at one of our favorite coffee houses in Philly and boy that dessert was perfect and I'm glad we waited. Everyone was crammed into the space and we were smushed into the corner. We were able to easily ignore the discomfort once we saw there was roasted garlic in olive oil on the table with fresh bread. I was so excited to try the sweet potato gnocchi that I had seen on socials, but it was no where to be found on the menu. When our server came to tell us the specials, she announced the sweet potato gnocchi and I was sold. We decided to start with the burrata, which paired well with the roasted garlic and bread. My sweet potato gnocchi was served in a decadent cream sauce. The gnocchi itself was very dense, almost a harder consistency. My sister in law got the regular ricotta gnocchi and it was pillowy and light, a completely different texture than mine. I still enjoyed mine, I just wish it could have been a little softer. We shared the cheesecake for dessert, and it was fine. Not memorable, but good. My sister in law got the creme brûlée and THAT was good. I regretted not getting that instead. Another person we were dining with got the pork chop and it was phenomenal. I wished I had gotten it, it was THAT good. For this experience, the ambience, location, and everything else considered I'd give it 3.5 stars.

And don't sleep on the focaccia and olive oil either. Simple, but so good. We definitely weren't letting that go to waste. Drinks were great too. They have some interesting cocktails instead of just the same stuff you see everywhere, which I appreciated. The staff also deserves a shoutout. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but they gave us space to enjoy ourselves. That's a big thing for me. When you're having dinner with friends, you don't want to feel like you're being pushed through the meal so they can flip the table. By the end of the night, it wasn't even just about the food anymore. The drink wasn't bad at all, but I was just looking for that burnt taste. I also had a $18 Dirty Pasta Water Martini, basically a dirty martini. It was fine, but it came in a micro grass which was kind of weird. Clearly this isn't a place you come for cocktails. Now, onto the star of the night, the food. Up first, the $16 Spring Salad. Loved it, hit the spot. Also, had the $17 Arancini. I really liked those little balls and especially the dipping sauce. I had the $26 Rigatoni. It was absolutely phenomenal. I could go eat it every day. My mom had the $24 Tonnarelli and it was also top tier excellent. The flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, everything here is top notch. The Internet did not let me down. I'm so glad I decided to book this restaurant. I had a wonderful night.

I tried this place 2x now and had a bad experience both times. My first time I ate in the restaurant. We ordered a wrap and a flat bread. The flat bread I have no complaints about but the wrap was just awful! The fries tasted like fish! They fry all their food in the same fryer I guess. It was seriously disgusting how bad these fries tasted like something straight out of the ocean. The veggie wrap was terribly undercooked. Now my second experience was delivery. I figured I would give them another try as the place is not far from my house. I ordered their version of caesar salad, tortellini with a cheese sauce, and chicken fingers with a side of fries. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START! On what planet is To Go container for their salad appropriate?? They cram a salad in a container that is so small and slim that when you open it your salad flies all over like a jack in the box. I dont even know where you purchase such awful containers!!! The pasta was literally a handful . The smallest portion you have even seen. I had to go back to see if I ordered from the children menu. Now to the chicken fingers and fries....they TASTED JUST LIKE FISH AGAIN! People isn't that common knowledge that you dont cook calamari in the same fryer as your non seafood menu items? I just love Quick Fixx. It's close to where I work, so I'm constantly fending off the impulse to go there for lunch every single day of the week. The focus is on good quality food prepared fast from fresh ingredients -- the menu even changes seasonally to incorporate the best ingredients. The flat breads are consistently good (though depending on the toppings, not all of them should be confused with diet food!) and the salads as well. Everything's very reasonably priced based on the quality of what you get. I can pay the same amount for a salad at Saladworks and get nothing like the freshness or variety of the ingredients, to say nothing of the welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, and going there as much as I do I've overheard owner and staff conversations, and it's clear to me that the owner is committed both to putting out great products and building good relationships with other business owners nearby to promote the neighborhood. If you are in the neighborhood at lunchtime, the "10-spot" lunch is one of the best deals around. Cash only, but for 10 bucks, you can get an entree, a side salad, and a drink, or a few other combinations. Also highly recommended are the french fries, which I loooooove but stay away from because it would be very bad to eat them as often as I am tempted to. You can get them with garlic, parmesan, or Old Bay spice -- every one a different yum. :) Highly recommended. read more

I am flummoxed by all the bad reviews here. I think it comes down to a question of expectations. Don't expect a fancy tablecloth meal. This is a quick-bite-to-eat place, but a serious upgrade from fast food or the local hoagie joint. Everything is made to order with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The ambiance is laid-back casual -- just a few tables, paper towels for napkins, and yes, you get your own drink from the cooler. (Gasp!) But the service is always friendly, the place is always clean, and the food is prepared with care. I have never ordered anything here I didn't like, but I'm a particular fan of the flatbreads and the salads. Some of the menu flatbreads can come out a little greasy depending on the cheese they use, but the crust is light and crispy, and the toppings are interesting and good. And there is always the build-your-own option. I've been here a million times and recommend it to my friends often. read more

Found this location on Yelp after several unsuccessful efforts to locate a decent spot to eat before heading back to NYC. Was craving pasta and the reviews of Quick Fixx were all 4-5 stars with excellent opinions. Much like everyone else has said on here, the area is quite little however it's SPOTLESS (yes I understand it only opened in Jan 2011 but still) The staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful...perhaps too so but hey I am not whining. The menu IS SIMPLE, some appetizers, a few house pasta dishes, a construct your own pasta choice and some desserts. Just what the neighborhood needed. Fantastic food at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The atmosophere is trendy but still really cozy. Had the Junk Salad first time and it was fresh and delicious, second time back I went with the Gnocchi Lasagna which could very well be their signature dish as far as I am concerned. Surprised I've never stopped by here before with my real estate office just around the corner. I happened to pass by while thinking I could use a quick bite to eat, and the rest was History. If you are high or drunk, this place is probably fine. For any other time, give it a pass. The flatbreads are often burnt, the salads are bland, and the pastas are pretty much nothing but fat and starch. I guess this is geared more to twenty-somethings, but the food really isn't very good. Not a fan. Each time I've been there my order appeared as if it was waiting under a hearing lamp. When we got delivery, the drive complained to us he had to drive too far and asked us for a tip. We gave him a 10$ by accident and he of course said that we were mistaken. Due to the poor experiences here, we will not be back and would suggest saving yourself some grief. read more

Whoever whipped this up in 20 minutes is incredible and absolutely deserves their flowers. Without a doubt made with care, and I savored every bite. Very clean establishment. Such a comfort knowing you can get a TAKE OUT meal of this quality at such an hour.
