Thankfully she comped the drink as an apology and we are very grateful. We then tried to do their obstacle course that is up high but they decided to close early to clean it... we played a bit of pool afterwards and headed home. I'd say this place is awesome for bowling and pool but the arcade is more kid-centered. Laser tag isn't that spacious for bigger parties. Prices can be expensive. She had so much fun that we've been back several times since. The fishbowl game is her favorite. They have a wide selection of food that we easily paired down for her. The employees are really great. We went during a Bluey night and there was only one employee behind the prize counter. There was an insane amount of people trying to get his attention and push to the front. This employee stayed calm and positive. He made sure that anyone who shoved to the front understood that there was a line and they needed to wait their turn. He did his best to keep things nice and orderly and didn't once look grumpy if someone snapped at him. We will absolutely be returning.

Out at Masterson Station, parking is free, but it is $8 for admission which I thought was a little steep for this event. Granted there was live music and games for kids set up- I think even paying 4 or 5 dollars would seem more reasonable to me. We were given a map of the festival with our tickets which listed all the events for both days and showed the general areas (zone 1, zone 2, etc) in which the different food vendors were located. In order to get food from the festival you need to buy crave dollars which are dollar for dollar. The booth suggest that each adult would need about $30, but my boyfriend and I had more than enough food for $15 each. We did a lap around the fairgrounds first to survey our options & see what there was to avoid making any hasty decisions. I realize this sounds obvious but I really liked how you were able to sample a lot of different foods from a variety of places. Especially if you come with an eating-partner, you can get a lot of things and split them to really increase the items you're able to try. Loved this event and think it will continue to grow every year! One thing I'd like to see is more stations for water as it was pretty hot out- I only saw one ant it was when we were leaving. I would suggest doing what we did to avoid long lines and crowds- make it a lunch/dinner and go around 3:30/4- by the time we left at 7 it was getting crazy packed. All in all a very fun time!

Today was my second time visiting the Woodland Art Fair. It's become one of my favorite art shows,…read morein part due to their rules. Per their website, every piece must be original and made by the artist, who's present at the show. They don't allow MLM products or vendors selling soaps, lotions, or candles, which makes it feel more like an actual art fair. No shade to candlemakers. There's a great selection of food trucks and drinks, including beer, cider, wine, mead, and non-alcoholic options. I appreciated how the beverage vendors were spaced out throughout the event. It made getting a drink easy and convenient. It's a huge fair with hundreds of booths. I ate the mac & cheese bowl from a BBQ food truck. It was tasty but lukewarm. My companion had a corn dog and was disappointed with it so he helped out with my food. Dog are welcome at this fair, and there were so many, which - for me -made the experience even better. We found free parking about 4 blocks from the event, which is always a bonus. Lexington is doing art fairs right. Louisville could definitely take a few notes!!

The grounds are gorgeous and inside is just so quaint with an at home feel. It's full of unique antiques and decorated so tastefully. The owner and her beautiful daughter were so kind. They were friendly and helpful throughout our event. They are just the most charming hosts. This would be an excellent location for a wedding, rehearsal dinner or a shower. There are various picturesque locations throughout. Go check the winery out, you will not be disappointed!
