The bar has a old basment-y smell to it. We arrived Friday right when it opened. Due to our room not being available and my husbands Ambassador Elite status we were promised an upgraded room and complimentary drinks from the bar. I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband ordered Johnny walker black. We were the only guest as it was very early in the evening. My drink was great. I remember coming here in January and the cosmo was terrible so that was a pleasant surprise. For a snack I ordered the chicken sandwiches which were decent. The painting and overall design of the bar is very chic and classy. The smell just needs to be eliminated.

TL;DR Great breakfast options. Solid and consistent food with great service. Yes, the food is expensive, but it is undoubtedly reliable. I have had the privilege of dining here multiple times for breakfast and have never left disappointed. ---FOOD: +Pecan Wood Smoked Salmon (5 stars): Oh baby, we might not be in NYC, but this salmon lox and bagel plate is no joke. You get enough salmon for 2 bagels and a variety of garnishes to deck your bagel out. A better bagel could really push this entree over the top, but even so, this lox plate is still worth 5 stars. +Traditional Bircher Muesli (5 stars): This bircher muesli is so, so good. It's creamy and not too sweet, and it is loaded with apples, raisins, and walnuts. It also comes topped with fresh berries and bananas. And for $11.00 it's like getting three meals in one because the portion is so large! +Crab, Spinach and Scrambled Egg Enchiladas (4 stars): This specialty is for the heartiest of morning appetites. Not too heavy or greasy in any way, although they are filing. Skip the rice-- it's just plain white rice and does not match the flavors of the enchiladas. +Blueberry Bowl with Vanilla Yogurt, House-made Granola (4.5 stars): A simple but well prepared breakfast that you could order every day. The granola is tasty and the blueberries are the freshest. ---EXPERIENCE: It's a St. Regis hotel, so you better expect the service to be perfect. And it is. The restaurant allows for many modifications to your meal and waiters are as attentive as they are kind. I would return.

Nice spot in the St. Regis with a live band. They have a limited bar menu with small bites. The service is good. I visited on a Friday night. I really enjoyed the band.

Had a fabulous Sunday brunch at this restaurant last week. The food, the presentation and the wait staff are outstanding. Food is spectacularly plated and tastes just fresh and wholesome. We ate here I am after having spent the night at the Saint Regis and the breakfast really topped a beautiful weekend. The lox and bagels beautifully presented and the Applewood smoked salmon is sublime. I would strongly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Enjoyable drinking environs that probably deserve a higher average than their rating. Low-key and located in the St. Regis.

I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. On Tuesday, I tried the Thai Chili Ginger Margarita ($13) and it was great, complete with a hunk of candied ginger which I "gingerly" consumed throughout my drink experience...see what I did there? Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is nice with moody lighting. They even have a bidet toilet seat in the bathroom! Hidden Bar is a "hidden" gem, for sure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were lucky enough to find seats, but it was so crowded we could barely talk without yelling, and we were basically shoulder-to-shoulder with the people around us Other than that, it's a really nice spot to grab drinks, hang out with friends, and get some cute content. You can see their happy hour menu on their website. Greg (the bartender) is the absolute best! It was like he read my mind and brought me a drink right when I was going to ask for one on multiple occasions. This place is so spacious with plenty of seating! There's even the "Roxy Room" upstairs which you can rent out for any private events. For the food, you order at one of the food stands that you like and receive a text when it's ready to get picked up. I was so torn inbetween all the options that were presented to me, but decided to go with Blk Mkt Birria. Their birria tacos were great! There was something slightly spicy about them (maybe the tortilla since it was a literal red color?) so if you are SUPER sensitive to spice I wouldnt order these. They did have limited edition Birria Tamales which I just HAD to try. Honestly they were just a tad bit dry on their own but drenching it in the Birria consommé (which is what the consommé was meant for) it was great! I need to come back here to try all the other food vendors! I already know the bar is a vibe so I gotta see if each genre of food will have my mind blown :) Next time I come, I do wanna try Mad Dogs, the Pita-Ria, Seoulside, Bird Haus, or Cvche. But I only have one stomach so I think it'll take multiple times coming here to try all the food I want, but it's ok it's totally worth!

I didn't have a car and this place is conveniently across the street, so it became the default option. I remembered my first experience wasn't great, but I couldn't recall exactly why--this second visit quickly reminded me. When I ordered over the phone, I was a little taken aback to learn they don't use traditional Mexican white cheeses like Oaxaca or queso fresco--only mozzarella. That honestly stumped me, and the woman on the phone could probably tell by my pause. The tacos themselves were good, but very small. They also came with only one corn tortilla instead of the usual double tortilla you'd expect from street tacos. On top of that, the order was five tacos instead of the more common six for around the same price point ($14.99), which seems to be a growing trend but still feels disappointing. There were no complimentary chips and salsa, so I had to order those separately. The upside is that the salsa selection was actually pretty good. I also ordered fries, not realizing they were $7. While the portion was decent, they definitely didn't feel like a $7 side--more in the $4-$5 range. Overall, the tacos did satisfy my craving, but not enough to make this a go-to spot. Paparucho will likely remain a last-resort option for me when I'm craving Mexican food and don't have many other choices nearby.

But once it cleared out, not bad. Upon arrival I learned the hard way that it's open seating. I stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes and then was told to find whatever open seat I could find. We mainly went for drinks but decided "what the heck" and ordered food. The buffalo wings were good but not great. Same with the Marinara pizza. I was impressed with the size and the crust was pretty good. I suggest adding jalapeños to it. We also ordered a sushi roll (who knew you could order that and they just get it from Sushi on Post Oak next door). That roll was pretty good but also very pricey.
