Chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, English muffin, Spanish omelette and hash browns

I love the Reyn, and so do other people as evidenced by the very long line if you go after 8:30am on the weekends. We're lucky to live close by and come early in the morning when there aren't that many people inside. We choose our seat and get our order taken quickly by an always friendly service staff. I've had the French toast combo and that was delicious but my FAVORITE breakfast is the Spanish omelette. If you don't like thin/tomato-ey salsa, you should probably get this with salsa on the side or something because they DRENCH the omelette in salsa (which I enjoy because I like the saucy salsa). I love the crunch of the bell peppers and onions inside of the omelette and the cheese is soo gooey. The hash browns are perfectly crunchy and they give you an ample amount (but I'm a potato fiend and still always want more!) I've tried basically every bread that they have there and they're all delicious. They have a bakery that they get the bread from and you can tell - at first I thought they baked the bread in house because that's how good it was! The banana bread is worth the extra charge, but my favorite are the English muffins, they're nice and tangy. I'll be coming here are often as I can because I absolutely love The Reyn!

They were attentive and seated us right away. Use the back door to enter the restaurant and grab street parking. The hashbrowns and bacon were a bit too greasy for my taste and the sausage was okay. The banana bread was very chewy and thick, The pancakes were fluffy and fine. Overall a good experience with our server and the food tasted homemade.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 9 am. The place is BUSY! We had our name added to the waitlist; they said about 20 minutes, but 10 minutes later asked us if counter seating was okay. Of course; I enjoy seeing how restaurants function. Excellent service, delicious food and a great place to enjoy a nice breakfast. Think diner vibes with some delicious banana bread as a not to miss option. My husband and I ordered a Chicken fried steak and corned beef and hash. Both meals were very good. It's worth the wait.

What We Ordered: -Banana Bread $3.89 -Farmer's Breakfast $16.29 -Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs $15.49 -Coffee $3.49 I read online about their famous Banana Bread. As soon as, we were seated and given menus. I asked for a slice of Banana Bread. My mouth was watering in anticipation of trying the Banana Bread. My Mother wasn't much of a cook, but she did make a decent Banana Bread, but I gotta say, The Reyn makes a better one than her. My go-to diner order has always been a Chicken Fried Steak unless they're known for something specific. The Chicken Fried Steak was nice and tender, but it was a bit of small portion. It came with a side of toast or Banana Bread. The only answer is to order the Banana Bread over an order of toast. The home fries with the onions were great! As previously mentioned, the banana bread was out of this world! You must try it! My wife ordered the Farmer's Breakfast which came with two eggs, hash browns, two strips of bacon, two sausage links and two pancakes. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and a good size. The staff did a great job with refilling waters and topping up the coffee. That was very attentive on their part! I probably wouldn't order the Chicken Fried Steak again, but I would for sure order the home fries with onions and that delicious Banana Bread. The wife said, she'd order the Farmer's Breakfast as she especially loved the crispy hash brown. We'll definitely be back to The Reyn again soon! Looking forward to trying other delicious dishes.

What do you think k this looks like, cheese fries... no its an order of huevos rancheros, what a presentation!!
    Dulce C.

The sauce of the huevos rancheros, lack of flavor, add some spices. The presentation really sucks, how about the potatoes on the side, it just looks like a mountain of sauce and cheese. I asked for a jalapeño and was charged $0.29, come on guys!! Ot at least offer a good side salsa, not the bottle type. Coffee almost $4.00 , Starbucks is better and for $3.15... really!! The service is good, the server is very attentive. Definitely you can do better, going next door and trying their mexican food. First and las here

    Fun decorations!

I had breakfast twice here last weekend. How have I not tried this place before?! The food here is fantastic! Everything is cooked perfectly, the service is fast and nice, ambience is adorable. I highly recommend their banana bread. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable, especially compared to other options in the area.

if my rating was on food alone, The Reyn would be 5/5. 3/5 rating is for dirty table upon sitting down, flies in the restaurant, the bathroom has a window open which can see directly outside (or vice versa, so people can see you in there) & cheesy decor. Private lot parking, gets busy but you can find a spot. Some street parking too. Service was quick - coffee was a little steep at $3.50. Banana bread is yummy! Food is greasy and delicious. Classic diner feel. It's a bit loud in here but that's just part of the vibe.

What is the purpose of the wait list when a third of the tables were empty?

When we went there was no wait list

    Do they have WiFi?

I don't think so! They have very quick turn arounds, so they don't want customers stick around for too long.

Can you do a large to go breakfast order for 30-40 people?

    I want to see menu?

Just good coffee shop food. Nice place to hangout or meet friends.

Do you do to go orders?

    Yes they do!

Friend, now I know what food is like in prison. The gravy was a bland, featureless runny liquid (no, even runnier than you're thinking), devoid of any seasoning whatsoever. I legitimately believe they dug a pan that used to have gravy in it out of the dirty dishes, swished some water around in it and poured it on my plate. The "biscuits" were hardly any better, lacking any hint of butter or flake, instead seeming like someone stirred up some Bisquick and threw it on the flattop grill. This meal was an insult and a punishment, and as part of a $70 check it felt like I was being personally invited to a fistfight by the dumpster. Alas, I had somewhere else to be. And somewhere else, anywhere else, is what I'll choose next time when breakfast is due. For reference, biscuits and gravy should include round, buttery, flaky biscuits using dough that was rolled out, cut, and baked. Gravy in this context is a richer, creamier milk gravy with substance, at minimum seasoned with fresh cracked pepper and perhaps some paprika. Offering a sausage gravy wouldn't hurt either. Or don't offer biscuits and gravy at all if you don't know what the f**k you're doing.

For dinner I got a Chinese Chicken Sandwhich which was okay....but I would only eat it again if i was in need desperately for fiber. Today, I started off with the same coffee routine, but for lunch I got their Italian combo which was lasagna with salad and garlic bread stick. WOW. That lasagna was super dry. It was one of those frozen lasagna that you can buy at Costco...but even if I were to make it it would come out better. The food wasn't even kept in a steamer, but a tin foil tray so it was cold and dry. BLEH. The salad was okay, but they piled it on with ranch dressing :( And the bread stick. my GOSH! There is still the Chinese selection and the grill that I have yet to try. Chinese doesn't look too promising...for sure worse than Panda Express right across the street. The grill though looks good considering they actually make it for you on the spot. They also have a fried popcorn chicken and french fries you can grab and go.
