I've tried giving this place multiple chances because the very first time I went there, the coffee was absolutely amazing and then every time after that it was so disgusting I've had to throw it away. This is their cold brew, which is extremely watered down and tasteless. Did not taste like coffee at all. For it being a cold brew, it looks almost like water. Reno is so lucky to have a place like Coffee N' Comics. I visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and was warmly welcomed by the baristas working. There were a few other customers in the shop as well, and it was obvious that some of them are regulars. After experiencing Coffee N' Comics once, I can confidently say I'd love to be a regular here. I was surprised by how much they have on the menu. I ordered the My Macadamia Nut Hero, which is a white chocolate and macadamia nut latte. The coffee was great and slightly tasted like a cereal to me, but I can't identify which exact cereal. I will admit that the coffee was a little too sweet for my liking. I'll remember to ask for half pumps of sweetener the next time I go. I was also very impressed with the extensive beer/alcoholic beverage menu. The prices were very reasonable and I can't wait to come back for an after-work drink. There are quite a few tables available and bar seating. While visiting Reno we wanted to try a new coffee shop. After searching on Yelp, we decided to check out Coffee N' Comics. It's super easy to find from the street, there's tons of parking and outside windows are painted so cute!!!!! It's a spacious spot with lots of seating. There's comics, collectibles, 2 large TVs, games, and so much more. The menu is a little overwhelming! Or maybe that's just me since I wanted yo try everything!!!! We decided on a Kids Vanilla Milk, Iced Pumpkin Latte and an Iced Chai. To eat we ordered an Almond Poppy Seed Muffin, Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese and a Cookie Monster Donut. Everything was ready super fast!!! For the record, it was THE BEST PSL ever!!!! And my Almond Poppyseed Muffin was super moist and delicious. My daughters both loved everything too! My youngest was obsessed with the restrooms. One is decorated in Harry Potter decor. And the other in Marvel Superhero theme. Soooo cute!!! What a fun little coffee shop! I had some friends visiting this past weekend from Vegas. Not only did we meet here to catch up, but the three of us also play Pokemon Go, and there was an event this same weekend. We got to play and catch up. Coffee N Comics had two Pokemon themed coffees in honor of the event. I had the Lavender Town Latte and it was 10/10. Mother of Macros meal prep made Pikachu themed donuts and I was able to snag one and try it. It too was amazing, but I might need to leave that comment on their business page. Customer service was also 10/10 as the barista who took our order was also playing Pokemon so we were able to chat and socialize over that. Came to this coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon. Inside was very different, we loved all of the graphics, comics and pictures.. it was definitely entertaining. As we walked in the front door, we were sadly not welcomed in.. we were kind've just stared at. We were not greeted until we were ready to order and even then it was just a mono tone "hello, what can I get you? Conversation with our cashier did spark up when I asked about the store and it's other location. The cashier seemed very enthusiastic and proud about the store and it's expansion. For my drink, I ordered a stormtrooper Frappuccino, I was craving something that was iced and semi sweet with coffee so I chose this one. Barista did get my order wrong though.. I ordered it without the whip cream when she asked. It's definitely a cool color because it's green but the drink itself could have been okay without it. The drink was a little heavy on the sweet side for me. if I were to order this again, I would definitely ask for 1/4 of the frapp chips that was in there. I felt like every sip was a chunk of chocolate and I could not even finish the drink (which is very rare for me not to finish my coffee) . Great place to play a board game, video game, cards, or even collaborate and work. Nice little safe haven for folks that enjoy Coffee, Comics, Games, or want a place to meet for D&D/MTG, while they have friends or family visiting the casinos. My friends and I visited the Peppermill Casino to try our luck at securing a spot at Bimini Steakhouse. After staying up from too much fun with friends, I had decided to leave the casino, in search for a nice coffee shop to sit and recover. I stumbled across Coffee N' Comics, a nice 0.5 miles away and started my leisurely walk. Once I arrived, I noticed that the Cafe was really as bright and vibrant as the photos that other Yelpers posted. Upon entering, I was amazed at the wide selection of Coffees, Teas, Pastries, Alcoholic Beverages, Sandwiches, and other goodies that Coffee N' Comics offered. The lady behind the counter greeted me and was extremely helpful, as my eyes searched through the Latte section. She may have had a sixth sense, as she was voicing how they had seasonal flavors and recommended the various lattes within the section. I took her up on her offer and asked about a couple of seasonal flavors that weren't easily identifiable, due to the name, before settling for an Iced Vanilla Latte. My beverage order came within 3-5 minutes, right when I was eyeing the various items that were on sale. They had a nice area for Magic the Gathering, as well as various cartoons, anime, and popular television. Their Funko collection also extended to superheroes and other entertainment with huge followings. You can easily spend hours here, reading the comics that have stored away, or playing the games they have on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. I ended up spending 20-30 minutes, reliving my day playing Zelda.
