This place is great. Excellent bacon, really nice servers, and a cool open concept design inside. The coffee varies -- seems like the run the same coffee through 2 or 3 times before refilling so hopefully you get a 1st batch and not the second or third. But there is also a sign on the wall clearly stating (hilariously) not to complain about the coffee, because you are cold & bitter sometimes too (or something). This seems like the place to be for breakfast on the weekend. The restaurant was full but our wait for a table was less than a couple minutes and our food did not take long at all. I'm from Seattle and being from Seattle I know what a scone is. That is not a scone. That is fried batter, like an elephant ear or a non-funneled funnel cake. And that's fine by me; it was fantastic. I'd appreciate it, actually, if the snobby coffee and pastry shops in Seattle started offering the Utah Scone on its menu, too. The rest of the food was quality, and they did an admirable job accommodating our road-weary, mildly disorganized family of five. Took forever for them to ask for our drinks and order. Took an hour before we had to ask for our food to go and took them 20 more minutes after that to give us our undercooked food. After being told there was an hour wait at Jeremiah's we went down the road to The Rusty Spoon. They were also busy, but seated us within 15 minutes. Our waitress was amazing. She was friendly, attentive and helpful. Between our party of 9 we tried a little bit of everything on the breakfast menu and there were no complaints. You cannot go wrong with the crunchy French toast or a skillet and the chicken fried steak was as close to homemade as I have ever had in a restaurant. Food is average breakfast dining fare, I got a lunch item for breakfast (love when I can do that, not a big breakfast fan), the chili burger with tots was ok. The chili had little or no flavor, the burger was ok, the tots were ok. The wife got breakfast with a scone. Killer breakfast in a classic western setting. Super friendly staff, good food, prompt service, and low prices. Honestly, you couldn't ask for more! The menu options were plentiful (for breakfast anyways - I didn't stick around for supper). Not really vegan friendly, but I'm sure you could find something. Pancakes were thick, and they use real syrup :) coffee was delicious and they kept it coming. You could tell the staff took pride in keeping a well-greased operation going at full steam. The food was really good, and I especially enjoyed the scone. The only complaint I have is that when it came time to pay. Our waitress checked us out and she specifically asked me how much I would like to tip. I was planning on giving her a tip anyways, but her asking felt very confrontational and there was no privacy in the manner. Making it so that I felt obligated to give her a larger tip in order to save face and spare myself from embarrassment. She was a really old and sweet lady and so I don't think it was her intentions to make me feel that way, but I hope this feedback helps the company improve. read more

Bottom of the barrel when it comes to a restaurant. Horrible decor dirty and filthy. Went there on Sunday August 11th. Out of coffee, out of fish, forgot the onions on my hamburger steak and was served cold mashed potatoes. I waited 10 minutes for the onions only to find out the waitress forgot about them. By that time all I had left to eat was the hamburger steak that was also cold from waiting so long for onions that never came. The waitress then deducted only $1.00 for no onions and cold mashed potatoes. Pass on this place or you will be sorry. read more

Upon first entry of Stagecoach I immediately loved the atmosphere. The rustic feel made the place feel very homey. I was excited to eat some good home cooking. We were greeted immediately and sat quickly. Our waiter was on top of it with drinks and ready to take our order. They have the usual suspects on the menu. All day breakfast, open faced hot sandwiches, and the big kahoona, fry bread!, or as they call it there, a scone. My fiancé ordered the country fried steak and I got the hot turkey open faced sandwich. Both of us got fry bread. Our food arrived quickly which can be a good or bad sign. Immediately I noticed something wrong with my hot turkey sammy. There was no stuffing as was in the picture, also I received brussel sprouts instead of corn. I asked the waiter about this and he hadn't even noticed there wasn't stuffing. He said he thought there should of been and went back to the kitchen to ask. He returned saying the stuffing was frozen right now that's why he gave me extra potatoes, which were cold as well as the gravy. I asked for corn and he said he would see what he could do. He returned with corn stating he wasn't sure if I'd like it but he didn't make it so it wasn't his fault. It was basically a soup of frozen corn and butter. The country fried steak was also nothing to write home about. Obviously frozen and rubbery. The hash browns that came with were under cooked also. The fry bread, well, is fry bread. Hard to mess up. It was luke warm and not freshly made. The honey butter was good but cold. Prices weren't outrageous but didn't match the quality of food. I would not go back unless I knew the food was better. The place was very cute and there were lots of regular elderly people. The staff was nice enough but the food all in all disappointing. I wish it weren't all frozen. read more

We used to love eating here but things have changed for the last two times. I loved the Navaho taco, but they changed it, using romaine instead of iceberg lettuce, yuck! And you no longer get fresh guacamole with it, they tried to give me ranch instead of sour cream. This was not a fluke, this happened twice now. I ate there twice a couple years ago. The breakfast was pretty good. Not great. Then I went there for dinner and ordered the Super Nachos or whatever they called them. Awful. I mean AWFUL. I could only pick at a few pieces before I stopped eating. The cheese was rubber. The other ingredients on them didn't taste right either. I've ordered nachos probably 200+ times at restaurants and bars in many states for years and years. I've never had any this bad. I didn't think it was even possible to make them bad. The cook was back there loudly singing "Smells Like Team Spirit" while cooking loud enough to be heard throughout the whole dining area. He ain't exactly Kurt Cobain and it didn't exactly add to the experience. It's a family restaurant not a karaoke bar. The only reason I'm giving it as many as 2 stars is because the breakfast was good and the servers were very pleasant. Who knows though?
