    Smoked tuna dip

The oyster happy hour is well worth it alone, but we also ordered the smoked tuna dip and cedar plank gulf fish and everything was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this spot!

If I could rate this an 11/10 I would and I don't say that lightly. I can't even begin to describe how incredible our experience at The Salted Pearl was--this place is an absolute MUST when you're in New Orleans! The highlight of the entire trip, without a doubt, was coming here and meeting Tiger, the owner, was the cherry on top. His warmth and kindness radiated from the moment we walked up. He's not just the chef, but a walking encyclopedia of all things food and Louisiana. It felt like we were chatting with an old friend who just happens to be incredible at his craft! We had the gumbo which was absolutely out of this world. The flavors were beautifully built and developed, the broth was rich and thick, and the fish was generous and incredibly fresh. We also tried the smoked tuna dip which was amazing and the care and respect for the fish was clear. The love that went into his food was clearly evident. From the four hours he spent laboring over his roux making sure it didnt burn, to the salt he made to adjust to the changing salinity of the oysters post Katrina, his expertise and passion for food and Louisiana cooking shined. You could really tell the dedication he's put into building this restaurant. His genuine care for the ingredients and the traditions of Louisiana shone through in every dish. If there is one restaurant you should come to in New Orleans it's here. If there is one person you should meet in New Orleans it's Tiger. I'll be counting the days until I come back--thank you Tiger!

Great oysters and shrimp cocktail and alligator sausage at reasonable prices. Impeccable service and attitude. Would definitely recommend!

I came back and the oysters were as big and as meaty as I'd remembered. Victoria was on point once again!

A Seafood Spot We Keep Coming Back To!…read more My husband, my daughter, and I have been going to Boil Seafood House for the past few months, and so far, we've really enjoyed every visit. It's definitely become a place we keep coming back to. We usually get the seafood boil with snow crab legs, and this time we went with the medium heat and butter garlic flavor. Everything was really good and full of flavor. My husband and I got the potatoes as our sides, while my daughter got the boiled eggs. We also ordered a side of French fries to share, and let me just say... we ate those so fast that I completely forgot to take a picture! They were good! I also like the whole seafood boil experience here. They offer you a bib and gloves if you want them, which definitely comes in handy when you're getting into those crab legs. The service has been good every time we've visited, and the atmosphere is always lively. One of the coolest things happened after we had finished eating. Someone came around offering little samples for people to try, and they stopped by our table and asked if we wanted to try the soft-shell shrimp. I'm not sure if it's something new on the menu or just something they were serving as a sample, but we said yes -- and I'm so glad we did! That shrimp was delicious! It literally melted in my mouth. I'm usually not a big fan of eating anything with the shell still on, but this was so good that I didn't even mind it. Definitely not what I expected, and it was probably one of my favorite little surprises of the visit. I didn't take a ton of pictures this time, but I'll share the few that I did get. So far, Boil Seafood House has been a winner for us, and since we've enjoyed every visit, We'll be back again for another seafood boil!

But the star of the show for me was the lobster boil with Caribbean seasoning medium. The combination of flavors was absolutely perfect, with just the right amount of spice and seasoning! There are other days on the moon looked really good, but we were still pretty full from an earlier meal. And the other hand, the staff was great. They were quick and sweet. Despite that being super busy, it was not that loud and we can hear each other talk. Kinda to see the flames being used high from the open kitchen. This place is very casual and huge. We saw some sports TV playing at the bar area. This would be a great place for a big party, but on the terms of food, we only had their oyster and it was very sad. We walked here from our hotel by the stadium. This location right next to the Riverwalk..
