Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. They have a few sibling spots with similar Modern Asian Fusion menus. We were visiting our parents who suggested this place. And I don't put a ton of stock in their recommendations. Sufficed to say, the menu is super diverse with a full sushi menu if that's your thing as well as wonderful hot and cold items and nicely prepared entrees. I thoroughly enjoyed the Hong Kong Style Chilean Sea Bass. Cooked to perfection and well presented. Others in our groups enjoyed the duck special, a more traditional shrimp pad Thai and a jumbo sea scallop dish. The portions are quite large too. Great for sharing. We brought our own wine and paid a pretty modest corkage fee which was also nice. And they have a robot which assists in delivering the food and clearing dishes. Maybe I am behind with the times, but it was a cool thing to see in action. Parking was easy to find, the restaurant ambiance was immediately gravitating with semi low lighting and cool recessed brick walls with blue lights, beautiful lamps, interior is certainly stunning! I visited on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. We were seated quickly, water & food was served very quickly too. Prices were ok, I ordered a soup and a roll, they were both good--wasnt a huge fan of the tomatoe-y tom kha soup, it says its coconut based but it was mostly tomato infused, still tasty. They have this funny little robot server that brought out the soup and it bumped around a bit which spilled the soup, cute but gimmicky. The quality of the omakase was good, I would expect it to be more flavorful but it was still very tasty just more appealing than tasty but nothing wrong with that. Very impressed with the sushi grade that comes from Skyfin. Not often do you find places that provide too notch hot dishes alongside quality sushi. This place has amazing food. Had dinner at the Sea while I was visiting Florida a few weeks ago, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal! It was super busy on a Saturday evening around 6pm, so would definitely encourage making a reservation if possible. We sat outside which was nice because the weather was so beautiful, but the area did feel a bit cramped since the tables are just positioned on the sidewalk right outside the front doors. We had edamame for our appetizer, which never disappoints. And the pad see ew was excellent -- a beautiful sweet, rich sauce with perfectly cooked noodles and juicy chicken. read more

Very good NY style restaurant. Looks like it belongs in NYC and the food is just as good. If you eat early, the special before 6 pm is very well worth it and the food is delicious and the same size portion as after 6 when paying full price. If you don't want sea food there are plenty of other options. I recognized many of my favorite Thai dishes on the menu. I ordered the Thai curry and asked for it to be prepared mild. My dish was delicious and the presentation in a large plate was attractive. The serving size was okay. Not large but not too small either. There's a lot of sushi and sashimi on the menu. I had to be out west and this restaurant has pretty good reviews so I stopped by .... and it was mostly okay. The dining room was comfortable but dark. I tried various items and some dishes were better than others. I ordered chicken dumplings and these were pre made and terrible and I couldn't eat it and I told the waiter who was quite nice and ...... he said nothing. Luckily an assortment of sushi was better. A friend of ours had mentioned this restaurant called the Sea and said it was really good, so we decided to check it out he wasn't wrong. We ordered fried rice, and a couple of sushi rolls. The service, the quality of the food and the ambience were all great. Our waitress "Susie" was very helpful with the menu and always smiling which mad our experience there very relaxing. We came quite early for dinner and the place was so busy! The staff was super accommodating and gave us a table outside even though we didn't have a reservation. We ordered some sushi which was good... the crispy tuna rice was awesome! Then we ordered the scallop noodle dish, it was very very disappointing. The portion was very small for the price and barley had any noodles. We ended up ordering another sushi roll after the noodles because we were still so hungry. I don't see myself coming back, the sushi wasn't anything I couldn't get somewhere else and the other dish we tried wasn't good at all. I save 5-star reviews for the rare restaurant gems that I come across. The Sea is one of them. Don't let the name fool you. This is not a place for seafood, but a great restaurant offering a wide variety of Southeast Asian cuisine, including but not limited to, Thai food and Sushi - many, many, many offerings. The restaurant is extremely well appointed, including a beautiful living wall running up the high ceiling. The staff were super accommodating and the food was brought to the table in decent time. There's a robot that roams around the restaurant serving meals to tables- super cool, especially for the kiddos. I had the curry Singapore noodles with steamed tofu, miso soup, and I also had some of my moms tuna roll. Everything was fresh and to die for. Full of flavor, good portions, yummmmm! The only thing that I'm bummed about is that there isn't another location more south towards Fort Lauderdale/Miami area so that I could come back more frequently when I'm in town. This goes for most of their menu which is varied and extensive. This is not the place to go for Americanized-Cantonese cuisine. They have plentiful outdoor seating. The yuzu soy truffle wagyu topped with salted quail egg caviar and the fatty tuna with uni caviar and truffle to die for!!! Absolutely inspiring. I still think about it months later. Sometimes i dont just want to taste freshness but creativity with my nigiri pieces. The inside is absolutely adorable perfect for a date night. One of the things that surprised me is the Winston soup had a few pieces of chopped asparagus in there. We really liked the pan fried chicken gyoza, the rock shrimp was just ok to me, although my wife says it was really good. Spicy Tuna roll is the roll where I noticed right off the bat the quality of sushi fish here. Then for entrees, the 3 of us split noodle dishes. Pad Woonsen, Pad Thai and Pad Si Ew.
