It's a decent sushi sashimi place. Best to have a reservation to be seated quickly and easily. I went here with 3 friends and we split a few items. We ordered Grandma's ribs- grandma's recipe-marinated pork ribs, spicy Thai tamarind and cilantro. I prefer the smaller ribs as these are a bit difficult to chew. We also ordered Lobster shrimp Shuman-hong kong styled lobster and shrimp dumplings, served steamed- I did like these a lot. We split a lobster monster roll-tempura lobster tail, cucumber, asparagus, massage and sesame seeds- I didn't love this one however. We also had to wave someone down to take our order and give us water. A little improvement in the service area is needed.

Decent sushi and Japanese. Overpriced with fair service . Nice ambiance but overpriced.

I enjoyed another delicious dinner at the Sea with another couple. I didn't realize that we could bring our own bottle of wine for a $20 corkage fee we were provided with wine glasses, and an ice bucket. Tonight we shared lots of small plates. The spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai and lots of sushi rolls were a treat. Service was impeccable and we always enjoy watching the robot serve. I discovered that the beautiful Lobster bomb is their signature dish.

First time trying The Sea. First impression is great! Love the ambiance, dark interior, music, etc. although it can feel a bit loud if when the restaurant is full, it really is quite alright in terms of of noise. Upon arriving, the staff was quick to help and get us seated even without having a reservation on a Friday night around 630p when they seemed quite full. I really enjoyed that! And they also have both interior and outside seating & in the event that you do want more quiet, I do recommend the outside seating (it's also not too hot since they have multiple fans). The menu is quite extensive, and I was pleased so get our food quite quickly. Although I wouldn't describe it as southeast Asian, it in fact had great choices, wonderful sushi variety, as well as main dishes. All the things we ordered were great, although the one main dish we got was not spicy when it in fact said it would be. But overall great taste, good portions, and super fast!

Taste: pretty good tofu dishes and pretty good sushi rolls, but not top notch Price per quality: actually not to bad for the Boca/Delray line; Service: really attentive (late afternoon visit) Decor: clean, cute, some issues around the edges (sloppy service stations, mid-level restrooms) Beers: nothing to write home about (Sapporo list)

First time here and enjoyed my visit. Thai dumplings were really good and wonton soup was tasty. I had sex on the moon roll and thought it was also fresh and tasty. Reason for 4 stars is I thought the service was slow and it took a long time in between visit from our server. In fairness it was busy. I did like it overall and will try again

Because this can be a big deal for some... I must begin with this. Do NOT make a reservation and think you can show at the time of your reservation and get seated because tonight we were told, "people are seated based on when they arrive." Reservation we asked for an outdoor table... they have plenty... but they are very tight together and I was in a power wheelchair which would not fit in many spaces inside or outside. We saw a table open outside and asked could we please sit there since it had extra space.. we were a party of 4, with a power wheelchair. Nope. They sat a party of 2 who arrived right before us and clearly didn't have a reservation (the man said something about not having one). Communication was a challenge and rude. Ok! Rant over! We did get the next outdoor table that also luckily had some extra room (not as much as the first). Susie was our waitress. She was very cheerful and a delight to communicate with. Drinks! Sapporo beer right away please :p. Others at our table had hot sake, wine and NA ginger beer. We went straight to dinner... skipped appetizers. 2 had pad Thai (1 steamed tofu, 1 fried tofu), 1 had the tsunami roll and another Thai noodle dish. They all enjoyed their meals. I had 3 appetizers for dinner! Miso soup, veggie steamed dumplings, and the miso egg plant. We had another order of the egg plant at the table too. All food was delicious, as always. We have been there before. Just wish they could better manage reservations or simply not offer them. Definitely a popular restaurant later in the evening, in winter. Look forward to visiting again in summer when it's a bit quieter. Also, there are two very busy restaurants in the small strip mall. 1 valets... this one does not. Build in extra time to park in the next plaza over to then walk over.

I had a really great dinner at The Sea. The vibes are very fun and cool, plus you can still hear the people you are dining with because the music is not crazy loud. I did not make it in time for happy hour, but the deals looked worth it. I ordered a miso soup, thai steamed dumplings, and a tuna roll. The standout was definitely the thai steamed dumplings-- they were savory, chewy, and bright. I could have ordered 3 or 4 plates of them as my meal and been satisfied. An order with an appetizer, soup, two specialty rolls, and a basic roll was around $50 which seems very fair.

This is more like a 3.5 than a 3. Came here with family, one of my cousins suggested this and I was excited since it's owned by the same people who own Lemon Grass, Eat District and Ramen Lab. I love the other restaurants and I knew they had a robot server too, so I made a point of telling some of the others how great this was going to be. They serve Asian fusion and the menu looks quite nice with various, chinese, thai, and japanese choices. The inside is lovely and there is nice outdoor seating too if you want to take on the heat. Our server was nice and attentive. We did see the robot server, but our food was hand delivered. Now for the food... Started with Chicken Goyza. The came 5 to an order and were ok. Thai Basil Chicken and the Spicy Cashew Chicken were both on the bland side. Sushi was the star of the night. It was fresh and the rolls were big enough to share. Spicy Tuna wrapped in cucumber was very good as was the Best Buddy Roll - tuna, yellowtail and cucumber topped with spicy salmon, and kimchee sauce. All in all, it was fine. In the future I'd probably stick with one of the other restaurants they own.

We walked in to the place and grabbed a couple spots at their bar. Its a nice unassuming place. There people hustling about including the bartender. But she had 2 drinks over to us pretty quick. I wanted to try something new so I got the Nam Gek Huay. It was a tasty beverage with tea as the mixer. There were cloves of something on the top that were a nice touch. We found ourselves to the back where the small stage was. It was a nice turn out of people. We all got to hear about a dozen songs. Meanwhile we tried the pad Thai. I would say it was above average. It was a good time, and we will be back to try more of the menu.

The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca. If you're looking for Thai food with heart, flavor, and attention to detail, this place is a must try!

Unfortunately, our first visit fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, we informed our server, John, that it was our first time dining at Hawkers. While many reviewers mentioned receiving a complimentary pickled cucumber appetizer, we were not offered one until we asked John about it late into the meal. We were also seated alone in the bar area while the main dining room was active, which immediately created a disconnect from the atmosphere and seemed to contribute to the service challenges that followed. We ordered the Curry Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, a glass of wine, and water with lemons. The lemons never arrived until we reminded our server. The Curry Chicken was delivered without rice, requiring another reminder before the meal was complete. Shortly afterward, the Chicken Lo Mein arrived, and we requested a fork. Fifteen minutes later, after nearly finishing the Curry Chicken, we finally flagged John down to remind him that the fork had never been delivered. By that point, the Lo Mein had been sitting long enough that it was barely warm, and we seriously considered sending it back. To add to the confusion, another server eventually informed us that he would be taking over our table, though no explanation was provided. As for the food, it was average at best. I've had significantly better Curry Chicken elsewhere, and the Chicken Lo Mein lacked the flavor and quality that would make me want to order it again. While the food was serviceable, it certainly wasn't memorable enough to overcome the service issues. A restaurant's first impression matters, and unfortunately Hawkers missed the mark on both service and execution during our visit. Between the forgotten items, long waits, lack of attentiveness, and uninspiring food, this is not a restaurant we plan to revisit.
