They were friendly and accommodating to substitutions. All home made yummy food. Friendly vibes all around.

IAmbiance is N/A. Service is N/A. I've heard the food is good, but the service is SO BLTANTLY ABSENT, Ive never had the chance to order in the 1/2 dozen times I've walked into this establishment. The energy and attitude of every staff member I've encountered is 100% combative, discriminatory and toxic. I am overcharged and grossly underpoured every freaking time. I also believe that good old H2O is added to the bottle in a substantial amount and on a regular basis as standard business practice. I believe that they do this for all of the 'well' alcohol. It is common to hear disgruntled employees behind the bar criticizing management and ownership openly, discussing details of their dissatisfaction with clients sitting down for a beer or a meal. The behavior is Absolutely RIDICULOUS. $17 for a 1 OZ shot of Jamison's whiskey with a tablespoon of hazelnut liqueur sprinkled on top. No ice. No straw. No napkin. Shameful. I hope the owners stop this nonsense immediately and fire every single employee who is a workforce CANCER and a liability to the business. I will not go back until that happens. I know I am not the only one who is 100% FED UP.

Large order of dry wings cooked just right.

Shrimp lover's casserole? Believe me, it's the featured dish on the menu and it is very tasty! A combination of huge shrimp, bacon, spinach, pasta and cheese all baked together. The shrimp is big and plentiful. The accompanying garlic bread wasn't great. Not billowy and soft but basically large croutons. Still the casserole was worth it. The atmosphere is sports bar like - lots of monitors and dimly lit but the service is exceptional and very friendly and thoughtful. Food was consistently good! FOOD: we also ordered the chicken fingers, Sea Note Dog (pig in a blanket), and wings. All were good. The fries were overcooked (burnt) but the rest of the food was tasty. The Sea Note Dog was fun. Not the crescent roll dough I'm used to but more actual bread dough. Still fun and tasty and worth the price. SERVICE: Excellent. Our server thought of everything including offering us utensils (yes I know places should but most don't). She checked everything as she packed it too. Again not everyone does. And super nice! COST: Great price for the quantity and quality of food. Definitely worth it. FOOD: Speaking of food, had the

Loved it here. Just our vibe, Clean, casual, comfortable…read moredive'ish bar with many TV's- showing a variety of sports, baseball, soccer NASCAR, golf and my favorite, rodeo- Cowboy Channel. You don't see it too often in the PNW bar scene. Fantastic service. Lots of seating. Comfortable. Large selection of Beer, a couple ciders and a full array of liquor for our favorite concoction. Awesome history & location on the Bay. As ample as parking can be which still means good luck if it's summer season on the weekend. Free lots and pay street parking within a stones throw from the front door. Food-,We only had cheese curds to eat but watched the burgers and chicken sandwiches being prepared. They looked delish. Next time we will get a loaded burger with bacon, egg and the lovely green leaf lettuce, bright red tomato we saw. After our visit, we crossed the street and bought fresh seafood off the Chelsea Rose @ the Marina.

The waitress (blonde with a great smile) was adorable and couldn't have been sweeter!! She treated us like old friends who were lucky to have found the Barge Inn! I had the Buffalo wings that were perfect which I rarely eat in mixed company so that should tell you how comfortable I felt in front of her and my husband had a delicious BBQ burger that they are known for! It was a great dinner in an unsuspecting spot!

Barge Inn Tavern - You could stay home on the couch.

Or you could be here.

Big screens. Strong drinks. Friendly riffraff and a little midweek energy.

I got the Forager burger and fries and it was scrumptious and the fries were perfect , my wife got a sandwich that she let me taste and all I can say is oh my ! Then even our teacup poodle had the doggie meatloaf ! Did I mention Dogs are welcome !!! We even met Gus the owners new white puppy and our lil buddy had a nice meet and greet ! With a storm blowing in we were craving some clam chowder. Homegrown did satisfy that craving! Unfortunately, service was a little slow because there was only one waiter. Luckily, we were in no rush. Appearance - The warm string lights created a nice, cozy vibe. (Maybe the rained helped too!) Overall, the food was plated well. Taste- Garlic Parmesan fries- mmm so delicious with a yummy aioli to dip them in! Would highly recommend! Caution if you're sensitive to garlic... be aware that the parmesan can easily be mistaken for garlic chunks! Steamers- My husband got this and said it was very fresh and he enjoyed the broth. I tried it but I'm not a huge wine person and to me the broth was very heavy wine flavored. Fried Fish Cod Sandwich- Unfortunately I learned on this outing that I don't really love cod. The fish on this sandwich was not very meaty.

We got menus quickly and were able to place our orders within ten minutes of arriving, a huge improvement from the last place! I ordered the bacon avocado burger with fries and my friend got the patty melt with coleslaw. Our food arrived about 10-15 minutes after ordering and it looked so good! My burger was cooked well and the fries were delicious. The burger was pretty basic and didn't blow me away, but it hit the spot. The patty melt was also great and my friend ate all of it. It was all great! The restaurant space was clean and had plenty of space to move around. It smelled good too, like garlic and butter. The bathrooms were single-person and gender-neutral which I appreciated. There is plenty of street parking so you shouldn't have a problem finding a place to park to get here. All in all I enjoyed this spot! The food was good, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly. Would go back!

I just drove up and down half of the Oregon coast and tried several different supposedly "the best" clam chowder and verified what I already know; out of all of the best, this is the best best. It's real chowder, everything in it is delicious and you could have it as a meal with nothing else. I'll give it a 3.95/4 because I'm going to continue to try to find the best. The atmosphere is also very unique, with all of the firefighter memorabilia, and pub style. But I've never had bad service here and I've been coming back for the better part of 20 years. Try the chowder!!
