I was in the area and wanted to grab a quick breakfast before heading out to work and I'm so glad that I found this place on yelp! It's located in an area with a small parking lot that had additional parking in the church slot next-door, which is where I ended up parking. When I got there, there were 18 parties in front of me, but because I was on my own, they seated me almost immediately at the bar area. Every table was filled, and it was quite loud inside, but had a very homey and family friendly feeling. Service was extremely fast, and everyone behind the bar was super attentive to any needs. I tried the shrimp and grits (first time ever!) and loved it. The gravy was salty and savory, and the shrimp felt well seasoned. In the mood for some good soul food, first time here. Parking lot is small and very busy, we had to find street parking. Great customer service when you arrive. Our wait was less than 10 minutes, around 11 AM. We ordered their "muddy water" which is their Arnold Palmer, which was tasty, light and refreshing. It's not overly sweet (like a lot of boxed cornbreads are) , they sliced it and fried each side... and it was great!!!
