This mall is on the top 75% percentile. Mid mize, good set of stores, lot of parking, fairly vibrant and a very good food court.

    Art work on the wall.

In an age where most malls are on the brink of closing, Montebello remains strong. It is always busy and there are so many stores to chose from. There are also lots of dining options both from the food court and surrounding restaurants. I love this mall. You get a wonderful variety of LA sports gear from many stores. Jc Penney was having some great sales as well. Service has always been great at this mall.

Good! This is definitely one of the bigger malls that I've been to. They have a large range of shops and even some that you can't find at other malls. The workers that we interacted with were really nice and the prices are relatively similar to other locations. Compared to other locations of the stores that I've been to, they had a decent selection of items but not in my size. Parking is very easy since the place is gigantic. We didn't get to explore all of it, but were able to go into stores we liked. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Honestly, I'm surprised this place has such great reviews. We just came from here, and I think it was one of the worst malls in the area. It had no air conditioning. Walking around was just a hot mess. One of the escalators didn't work. It was busy but was missing something. They had the usual stores, but they were all blah. There are so many signs of sales and clearance items, but nothing actually worth buying. The food court had a sad selection. The only thing I think it had going for it was BJ's. The people who worked there look so miserable, only saying,"Welcome In" because it's mandatory. No one is actually trying to help you.

Oh how I love the mall!!! ANY mall haha anyways! Montebello mall is a pretty decent mall with lots of selection! They have a nice Forever 21, Macy's, and Jcpenney's department stores. They had some good deals for Black Friday and I got all that I needed! I would say most of the time I do leave out with some good options with the selections they offer here. They have a BJ's and decent food court! It's more so on the affordable side, which is good! It's not that massive of a mall but it will do. I feel some more stores can be added though to make it more better. However, I do recommend it though for those cute stores for the women or tennis shoes stores because they have a lot of them and good options to choose from! The services here are pretty good with good customer service in the stores! It's easy parking and does get busy during the holidays! -Marshay D.

This mall has a moderate selection of stores, though the variety is limited. For food, options include Yogurtland and Starbucks inside the mall, with Olive Garden located nearby. Parking is convenient, thanks to a large lot. Santa is also available for photos.

I used to come here all the time because it was different. After a long time and stopping here to see that it looks different from the last time I saw. The Food Court is now Patio Cafes. There are a few typical restaurants still here like Sbarro's for a slice. Panda Express for quick Chinese food plate. I wanted to see what Don Katsu was all about and it does look brand new. I walked around for a bit in the mall area. Everyone is walking like they have to get somewhere. A few stores that look interesting but I just window shopped. Sometimes I don't understand why some people have to wear so much cologne or perfume where there is nobody at this spot but that's all I could smell. That's way too much!!

However... with a single story comes a TON of walking. Be prepared for that! There's a lot of your standard mall stuff here, so it's not worth mentioning about the department stores, but the mall portion is a fine experience. There are lots of clothing stores and dessert places, and there's a movie theater and some nice restaurants, but I will say there's NOT much to do as a fun activity for families with small kids. Older kids will have some things to do like VR or build-a-bear, but smaller kids will not. Food court is fine, there's some good options and I actually like that it's next to the entrance/exit of the mall so you don't have to be "stuck" in a second story hidden area forcing you to walk by stores while getting out of the mall. Standard mall food court options like Sbarro, it's really just a place to hang out. Again, nothing special, but super clean and open space brings this to an average 3/5 for me.

That being said, ROW DTLA is a dreamscape when it comes to filming content and just catching city vibes in a safe space. Located near the Arts District this space of buildings used to be utilized for the textile industry. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward.
