Brother Wen (owner) decorated the place nicely and tonight the restaurant was packed with people! There was red everywhere! Food tonight was special for Lunar New Year and the sesame oil chicken soup was set up for each table! This is one of the dishes they excel at and you have to call ahead a few days to have this dish ready when you come. We also had Chinese sea bass tonight and that is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. I love fresh fish cooked well and this place does a really great job! We also tonight had Buddha Jumping Over Wall dish and I enjoyed the many Chinese veggies in the dish including bamboo shoots. There was also a nice sautéed cauliflower dish, just like the way my mom cooks it. I even tonight for special occasion had a Taiwan beer, it's been a long time since I had one and being in a Taiwanese restaurant, it felt appropriate. A really fun evening tonight and Brother Wen even went around to every table to wish everyone a very Happy Lunar New Year! I just wished we had gotten the karaoke machine going, that would have been so much fun! Happy Lunar New Year of the Snake. May you have good health, wealth and happiness (and yummy food in your tummy)!

The beef noodle soup is also good according to my husband. Only thing to note is that portions are pretty small here so you'd probably need multiple entrees per person.

My family is from Taiwan and so I was looking forward to coming here and giving it a try. Now granted, I am picky when it comes to Taiwanese food, so if not made right, you will know about it. We ordered the ground pork over rice and Taiwanese braised pork over rice combos. Both dishes were pretty good. I dont have high expectations here in Phoenix and I was pleasantly surprised! We also checked out their cold case and lots of comforting dishes like Taiwanese pickled cabbage, marinated pig ears, marinated seaweed and tofu gan. We got an order of the seaweed and tofu gan and it was good. Also had a boba tea to go and it was as expected. Boba was chewy like it should be and for $3.35, pretty good deal. Overall, the food was good and there is a specials daily menu by the cash register but its written in Chinese, so you probably need to ask the owner what specials they are having or bring me with you! When we came tonight there was eel over rice, 3 cups chicken over rice combo and papaya milk and green bean sweet soup. I'd definitely come back here again when Im in the mood for Taiwanese food but I would skip dining in. I felt like I was in some school cafeteria, zero ambiance. But the food was legit!

Ordered the pork and chives dumplings, XLB, and Beef chow fun. Service was expedient and waters were already preset on the table. There was a QR code on the table that allowed you to order online or if you waited a few more minutes, server will come over and take your order. All of our food came fast... within about 10-15 min. Chow fun had the wok hay ( wok air that makes food taste good) and thick slices of velveted beef slices. Pork and chive dumpling and XLB were juicy and moist and delicious with the ginger black vinegar chili oil sauce. I really like the food here and staff moves fast. Great place for a quick lunch.

It fades, so the dipping sauce was nice to have with it. The Xiao Long Bao were the winners of thee meal and would be why I go back. Easy to eat and tasty. I only wish the soup inside was a bit hotter. The Chicken Sheng Jian Bao was good, but the breading a little thicker than I personally like. This felt more like a dessert with the sesame bottom. Good taste, just heavy. Felt like we were rushed a bit and we're asked several times if we were done. There were empty tables, so that knocked it from the higher 3.5 side to the lower. Yelp is a flat star rating.

It may be a smaller, family-owned spot, but the heart, passion, and consistency here are unmatched. Hands down, the best dim sum I've had in Arizona. Even when they're incredibly busy (which they always are for a reason), the service never feels rushed or careless. Sunni was absolutely amazing--so kind, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. You can tell she truly cares about the guests and the experience. There's something really special about supporting a local family business that pours so much love into what they do. You feel it in the food, the service, and the atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. And if you have, you already know exactly what I'm talking about

We were seated right away because the restaurant was pretty empty except for one other table. The place is small and the chairs we sat in were sticky. The server was nice and attentive. I'm not sure if we just chose the wrong dim sum to order in the menu but it wasn't what I expected. First bite of chicken feet tasted off. The shumai was meaty and felt too much in one bite so I only ate one. The rest was mediocre. We did order two main dishes as well but we thought the main dishes were a lot better than the dim sums we ordered. If I had to rate the food. Main dishes: salty fish and chicken fried rice 5/5 spicy eggplant w/ beef 5/5 Dim sum: Shumai 3/5 Braised chicken feet 1/5 Custard buns 3/5 Shrimp dumplings 3/5 Shanghai soup dumplings 4/5 Bbq pork slices 3/5 Steamed pork ribs 3/5 Overall experience was ok. The dim sum was definitely not the highlight. I think it's the main dishes that were good that we wished we ordered more of as they did have a generous selection to choose from in the menu.
