First time to go to The Spot today. We places our order and was told it would be ready within 20 to 25 minutes for pickup. We arrived 25 minutes after we ordered the food and we called The Spot to tell them we were at the restaurant and advised them what parking spot we were in. They stated they would be out with our order in a few minutes. Well 25 minutes went by so we called them again. The server said the items were now ready and he would be out with them. I advised him we also ordered a mixedl drink he said yes he got it and would be out in one minute. When the items were brought out everything was there except the mixed drink. *TOURIST REVIEW* Driving around looking for a spot for lunch we decided to stop here. The set up is a bit tricky as you first order and then find a place to sit. You don't get a typical server here but due to the massive amounts of people that were here I think that their process was pretty efficient. I ordered the 12pc original buffalo wings, side of fries and nutella milkshake. The fries and milkshake were nothing special but the wings were pretty good. This place is definitely a tourist attraction, it was packed to the brim when we came. Definitely don't recommend if you don't like loud and close spaces. For someone whose pretty petite even I had trouble squeezing into my spot since the tables are so close together. The bathrooms are strange especially their locks. It took me a while to figure out. This is a great spot to stop in for a wonderful lunch. I've been coming here since it opened. The food is always good but it's also always so crazy and all over the place where you order. Once you get passed that, you are good. My husband and I always share the seafood platter and when I say it's enough for two, it's a ton of food. Great fried fish, shrimp kisses, fried onion rings, shrimp and other goodies. It's so good and so much food. We did try to shrimp po'boy and salmon tacos. They were both amazing and so tasty. While walking around Galveston, we decided on a lunch spot with views of the beach. The spot is really big and they have different sections available for seating so it can be a little confusing. The tiki bar has table service but it was full. We ended up finding other patio seating and went inside to order. The staff brought out our food and drinks. We all decided on seafood. I went with the fried shrimp and fish sandwich and wasn't disappointed. The shrimp po-boy and jumbo fried shrimp also got great reviews at our table. Overall we were happy with our food. We also ordered margaritas. They were okay - not the best but not the worst. There is a small parking lot you can try to use. Upon arrival, we found it very confusing and there was no clear distinction in terms of all buildings/bars being connected and what specials applied to what. We found this out finally after wandering around the property like a stray pack of wolves for 10 minutes. The people working were super friendly, and it was decently busy despite the January off season. There's upstairs/downstairs and indoor/outdoor seating, and a cute patio area outside of the bar as well. Food wise I only ordered appetizers, but can vouch that the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks were fantastic and more than filling for 2 to share. My friend got the burger and said it was also great. The Pineapple Express margarita was super yummy but had very little alcohol. I am definitely a fan of THE SPOT. If you are ever in Galveston, make sure you visit. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a manager by the name of Wendy who took care of us the whole time we were there. This place typically doesn't take reservations but since I had such a huge group (15+) they were super nice and did it for me. Most of my group ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and oh my was it GOOD! Seasoned to perfection and I absolutely enjoyed it. Their sweet tea is just the right amount of sweet too! We all sat on the top deck, which had a beautiful view of the gulf!
