Solid and consistent this bar offers a great twist compared to most other coffee shops in New York City. There is a strong linkage between the owner of this shop and Sammontana- a popular Italian gelato brand that is now found in the USA. In addition to having a delicious coffee, they also have unique Italian gelato offerings. The barista is well knowledgeable about different blends of coffee and mentioned the intricate partnership between this particular coffee shop and the Italian gelato brand. There are special homemade baked goods here too that are well worth your while. Their chocolate chip muffin has a solid core of melted chocolate that will take your breath away! Overall amazing coffee shop, and highly recommended in case you're in the area.

What a cute coffee shop I never knew existed and I am sure I have passed by it alot! I stopped in very early one sunday morning and had myself a cappuccino with some lavender syrup in it. They have many different flavor syrups here. There are some tables to sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry at. The staff are friendly too.

Cute Murray Hill spot with a nostalgic backstory & solid vibes, but a few quirks to note ;) Stopped by The Station Café on a casual Saturday morning and was intrigued by the concept - it's got a charming vintage-meets-modern aesthetic and a sweet nod to Murray Hill's history (the name references the old IRT Second Ave Line, which I thought was a cool touch). You can tell they put thought into their branding and vibe. I ordered an iced matcha latte with skim milk, which was pretty standard- not bad, not mind-blowing. One weird thing: they charge $0.50 extra for iced drinks, which I've honestly never encountered before. Apparently it's a Manhattan coffee shop thing (accordingly to my date), but it still feels a little odd and nickel-and-dimey. My date got a hot Americano with almond milk and didn't love the almond milk - fair warning to fellow dairy-free folks. He also ordered an egg white + avocado on a scooped poppyseed bagel (he's allergic to dairy, so no butter), and while the almond milk missed, the bagel dish was a semi-win. The egg was piping hot and steaming (literally) for a solid 5 minutes. I ended up eating half of the bagel because he mostly got it to support the toppings, and it hit the spot for me. The interior is sleek, with tables flanked by a long booth on one side and regular chairs on the other. I made the rookie mistake of plopping down on the booth thinking it'd be plush... it's not. Minimal cushion - don't sit too fast. They've got a pretty wide range of offerings, from specialty donuts and fruit cups to smoothies and croissant sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches, in particular, looked amazing. They're served on little wooden boards that make everything feel a touch elevated. I also spotted a strawberry matcha latte that looked divine, so I'll probably be back to try that next time. Overall, Station feels like a place with great potential. It's got a story, and it's trying to do something a bit more elevated. Some hits, some misses, but worth a visit if you're in the area.

Pistachio cream muffin...Look at this little beauty!

Another sublime coffee experience. Only this time in Manhattan, not far from where I work on 2nd Ave and 34th. My iced cappuccino was brewed to perfection and the baked goods looked very nice indeed. Therefore I bought a pistachio cream muffin to take with me for later, as I cannot resist anything with pistachio. Add to the fact it was pistachio cream, and I am intrigued. Owner/barista was very kind and patient in explaining all the wonderful types of coffee drinks, sweet and savory offerings.

I had an iced latte and vanilla pastry, a lot of people were ordering breakfast toast/sandwiches, cold brews, and matcha.

Small hidden shop in Koreatown specializing in matcha and tea-based drinks!…read more I came to Mika's on a Friday morning, and while there wasn't a line, it did feel packed with the five people inside. I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
