    Suds carne Asada Pie

Another great dinner at Trailblazers! Love the Suds Carne Pie! Too light on the Carne Asada this time though (hint). And where do they find the most friendly waitstaff?! Jasmine you keep that smile going! Great service... very efficient. At the time she was handling the whole dining room and bar with friendly stellar service. Keep up the good work! Thank you. -Chef Jenn

This was a nice find. The atmosphere was western theme and clean. Ordered a pizza and wings. Both were pretty darn tasty and perfect on a cool day. Our waiter was awesome. Very friendly, helpful with the menu, and didn't feel rushed at all. Overall, great experience and would go back :) highly recommend

I noticed they finally opened so we stopped in. It was a relativity busy night but it's a large establishment so we were sat quickly. We ordered a round of wings and a small pizza, half pioneer half lone grave. I also got a potato taco. Everything was yummy. The wings were crispy and we were able to get the sauce on the side. The sever was very accommodating. I can see myself coming back.

Mini pizza with pepperoni and sausage

Worth a visit. The outside needs some paint but had a great vibe. We were greeted and sat promptly with drink orders taken and received pretty much immediately. Staff was friendly and attentive. Menu had lots of options and I liked that there were multiple pizza size options, including mini (personal size), which worked great for my husband and I since we didn't want the same kind. We started with beer battered onion rings, which were great. They should serve them with ranch but we had to ask (but it was no problem, they brought right out) and they were really good. As mentioned, I did the mini pizza (as a lunch special), so it came with a beverage and side salad. The salad was nothing special, but I really liked the pizza. They were generous with the cheese (which was excellent) and the sausage and pepperoni were quality as well. Overall - enjoyed and will visit again.

This place does a lot of things right and yesterday was a good reminder of that. The space is really cool. They have private rooms you can book for events, cute little nooks to hang out in, and the back area is massive and covered which was perfect for a big event like this. They also had a second bar set up outside and a few food trucks which was a nice touch. Oh and lots of dogs, always a plus. Their beer selection is super expansive, all kinds of styles and they have beer slushies! The staff were genuinely so friendly even though it was slammed. I asked for a ton of samples before deciding on one and they were totally cool about it without making me feel bad at all. Really appreciated that. Live bands were a fun idea but they were pretty loud, like conversation was kind of a struggle at times. Also not really a kids at breweries person but that's just me. My biggest gripe though is the bathrooms. Four restrooms for an event that size is just not it. Bring in some mobile restrooms for big events, something, anything. It's such an easy fix and makes a huge difference when you're waiting in a long line after a few beers. Still one of my favorite spots and I'll keep making the drive up even though its over an hour away.

When you walk up to Crooked Lane Brewing, you notice the exquisite architecture. It stands out, as it should! When you get a little closer, you notice the big tinted windows and a beautiful patio for outdoor seating. **Bonus!! They are pet friendly for the patio area! When you walk in, it's vibrant, very modern with very high ceilings. It's a very big a spacious area with long tables and tall chairs throughout. There is a long bar top with tall chairs, too. Behind them, is a window where you can see the fermentation vessels. **fun fact Throughout the various stages of brewing, the beer is moved between a few different specialized tanks, each with a specific name. My friend was already there, and I walked up to the front and checked out their beer lists. I really liked that they had craft hard seltzers. Those are so delicious in a hot summer day. I went with the pomegranate raspberry orange... aka, the Pro! They had plenty to choose from. They were nice enough to give me a few tasters. They also offer a few wines and they had 2 frozen icee machines twirling with frozen Lemon Berry Seltzer and frozen lemonade I walked with my drink to sit with my friend. While looking around, I saw that they sell the chips from a local merchant called The Crazy Gringo.. who I have purchased salsa/tamales from at the Auburn Faith Farmers Market (Thursdays). There are shirts, snacks, mugs, and more. A wedding just happened to finish on the other side where there is more outdoor seating. **Bonus, this is a great place for big gatherings whether it's a birthday or another type of gathering, book it here!! While sitting and chatting, you can smell their delicious pizza. So I walked up to grab a menu and ended up ordered the pepperoni & sausage pizza.... yes, with ranch! They brought it out to us with cheese and peppers, too. I would compare it to a small size, definitely bigger than a personal size pizza. Great amount of toppings... mmm!! This one is pretty good. It was great without ranch, but I had to try their ranch and that was tasty. We hung out there for a while and it really started to get busy. Sometimes, there is a taco truck outside and it smells super good Crooked Lane Brewery is family-friendly and offers beer flights. They have a few TVs for sports. The food here is limited as there is no in-house kitchen, but features rotating food trucks. In house they offer pizzas, small bites appetizers, salad and sandwiches. They occasionally have events like live music and trivia nights, and I like that they support the women's Iron Rose Football Club. Next time I'm here, I'm going for a beer flight!

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

So...we are a local family that enjoys going to local breweries. Sometimes it's just us older…read moreadults and sometimes it's with the kids and grandkids. Here's the hard truth, Hillenbrand has really good food and good beer. However, they are chasing away families left and right. Kids are not really welcome at all. The signs posted make it evident. The best seating area is marked with 21 and over on each and every table. I get it. Sometimes it's nice to have an adult only night out. However breweries in the area should decide who they want their customers to be. On a Thursday evening, it should really not be an issue for a family to have a nice night out. The highlight of our night for me was drinking beer out of a plastic cup. For the second round we asked for glassware, but were told we had to buy the glasses to have glassware. When we turned that down, we got a sales pitch for the monthly stein program. Sorry! For the monthly amount they want I'm pretty sure the winery around the corner has a better deal. We also asked if we could bring in our Hillenbrand glasses that we already have the next time to use and the girls behind the bar had no answer. The best part was when the bartender handed over the plastic beer cups and said enjoy your plastic. So the question is, next time we go out on a Thursday night to enjoy a beer and food is it going to be Hillenbrand or the 3 other breweries in the area. Also the girls behind the bar gratefully filled us in to the fact that Hillenbrand is not a brewery but in fact a bar. Too bad Ron wasn't there tonight. PS our two children were very well behaved and stayed by us the entire time we were there.
