Great atmosphere. There was live music and it was just loud enough where you didn't have to stop talking or yell. The walls open so it's nice and airy, tall ceiling, and the decor is relaxing. Foods was okay - thought the patty melt would be on sourdough and the baby burger would be on a bun. Overall, nice place. The best part however was the waitress I forgot to get her name but she was exceptional! She checked in enough times to make sure everything was good but not enough to be annoying. She offered great suggestions and she was able to accommodate our requests for special options. read more

Never again. Went there on a Saturday afternoon. Nice architecture and liked the live music. But that's where "good" stopped - abruptly! Ordered the loaded fries. I like loaded skins so figured it would be similar. And it was, to a point. Lots of cheese and bacon bits (nothing green like chives or green onion then - that was the first disappointment). But the taste... oh my goodness. I think they had an extra bag of salt they needed to get rid of. The meal was so salty it was pretty much inedible. I complained to our server and go, "I'm sorry about that." That's all. Never, ever will I step foot inside that place again. read more

None of the items were good, and the service was terrible, super slow, not friendly at all, didn't check back, didn't refill. Even though we took one bite of our appetizer and told our server that we did not care for it, they did not take it off the bill, or offer a different item. That's cool, I paid the bill. We went on a Friday evening about 1700. . We sat away from the stage . We were able to hear the music and it was good ! The service was outstanding the waiter was on top of his game, And he was very polite . Calling us sir and ma'am . The appetizers came out quickly , We were able to enjoy those and just sit back and relax , At no time were we pressured to order . We ordered our Food Later and it was out quickly as well . To our surprise, it was a brand new bar and grill with live entertainment (similar to Jason Aldean's new restaurant in Vegas). The live entertainment was from Nashville and they were great (hence the $20 Venmo tip for their efforts during our lunch. We went within 1 week of grand opening so I assume certain things will get ironed out as time goes on. Service was a little slow, especially in getting drinks. Both when the live music is playing g or when they are playing music between sets the place is very loud, so not somewhere that you can expect to have conversations. And I will preface this with; I'm very American, and I am very pro-American spirit and pride. But doing the National Anthem at a bar felt weird and forced. And when your food has just been served and you now need to stop what you're doing to stand for the National Anthem while your food gets cold was just a strange experience for a bar/restaurant. Just didn't feel like the time/place and the way the band was talking it sounds like this is a regular thing. Not sure if it's just once per evening or every two hours or something? Specialty drinks were pricey for what they were and didn't seem very strong. Appetizers were good but not great. Hot Chicken sandwich was pretty yummy. Server talked me out of the Nashville hot saying it was very spicy and offered to bring some on the side. Next time I'd do it with the Nashville hot as it had a lot more flavor than the "house hot" and while it was for sure spicy it wasn't over the top (waitress made it seem like it was ridiculously spicy which it wasn't) Blackened Salmon was ok, nothing special and not worth the $26. read more

We went for lunch on a monday. The burger was very good and frys were hot but on the skimpy side the picture of the fry is deceiving as the way they place in the basket makes it look like a lot but it really isn't. The friend I was with got the philly cheese steak but it just was not up to what I know, as you can see in the picture on the small side with very little cheese. Don't think I would try it, if we were to come back. It was not busy when we went in and our server kept our drinks full. The restaurant atmosphere is very country with out side seating it was nice, the biggest complaint I have was the level of the music was deafening, It was night club level music, so it's not a place to go for a business meeting as we could not hear each other. I wish I could give them more stars but just can't. it's very ify if I would come back. read more

The food was not impressive at all, especially for the price. We got the baked cheese, best part was the basil toast. Also ordered the appetizer meatballs that were dense and not tasteful. Steak sandwich was rough and more arugula than meat. Two of us got the patty melts which was the best part of the meal. Key lime pie was fine. Baked cookie with ice cream was dry which was sad considering it was topped with ice cream. We spent over $200 and sorry to say very disappointing. The venue is great! Live music was lovely. We did get seated quickly which was nice on a Saturday but the service was slow & the food has issues. To be fair our serve had a very large party but it became impossible to get another drink or our check. The food / drinks was pricey- we had a pizza, A burger and a ceaser salad with 3 cocktails. It was $120 or so without tip. Just seemed pricey for what we got. Also my husband's burger had a piece of plastic in it from the bag that meat was in. The got him another burger and apologized but that was it. We won't be back but maybe they still need to work out some kinks. read more

The drink was fantastic. It was light and fruity. I ordered the pimento cheeseburger with Mac n cheese at the side. It was $13 for the drink and $19 for the food. I think it is a little overpriced for a bar food menu. The cheeseburger was double stacked patties with carmelized onions and cheese and pimentos. It was very greasy. It tasted ok but I could not taste the pimentos. I think a roasted bell pepper might be better. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. The cheese sauce (and I am not a fan of fake cheese sauce) actually tasted like it has Parmesan in it. My boyfriend ordered the fish and was very disappointed because he says it tasted like it was microwave fish. The first few bites were good but for everything for the both of us, it just was way too much grease and giving us stomach upset. If I went here again, I'd probably try the salad, but I am concerned about the stomach upset I got from so much grease. read more

My wife and I are new to the area and always use Yelp to find places to eat. We saw The Stillery and decided to give it a try. It was a Saturday night and we didn't know they were just in the Grand opening phase( two weeks open I think ). We waited about 40 minutes for a table to open up. The restaurant is really cool inside, well decorated, lots of TV's, live music etc. The staff was very friendly( except for one bouncer who thought he was special). The food was the reason for the 4 rating. The queso dip was good, we were wishing the chips were served hot instead of cold. But the queso itself had a good flavor. My wife wasn't hungry after the appetizer so I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak The sandwich was good, a little small but had real good flavor. The fries had a serious after taste. We both said it when we ate our first fries. They were ok and then they had a weird flavor a few seconds later. Not sure what that is but it won't keep us from trying this place again. The only reason I'm not giving it a five star is because of the flies that seem to get into the restaurant we had a couple of them that were just brutal from the moment we sat down until we left. Our food was good. Our service was excellent. Our server was the best even when my brother-in-law built a mimosa on his older brother. The brunch menu had several different mimosas and brunch menu items. We did make reservations as it was Father's Day. FYI, they have mainly high tops downstairs but they do have a second level and I believe those are low tops but I use a key to get around so I was getting up into a high top is very difficult so we had to wait an extra few minutes, even though we had a reservation, but they hurried. The food-to-cost ratio was the kicker. The food was alright I have tasted better food in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. The food was priced way too high for the type and quality. Like ten dollars per plate over. The breading was bad and had a weird texture. The tastes were all off. The seasonal desserts were nonexistent. First time here. Live music is great. Country music so it's even better. The bad is that the food is flavorless, very small beer selection. What makes it even worse is that the waitress was HORRIBLE. We just sat down she came over I asked here what there had on tap. She just pointed to the menu. When she finally brought my beer she set it down and very quickly walked away. Absolutely terrible place. Called to see if they could accommodate 11 of us and they said no problem. We drove to the place and went to check in for a table only to have them say they cannot seat us. The place was dead and empty tables all around. I said you don't want our money then for a party "family" of 11 and they really don't seem to care. Multiple 8 place table open and available and they did not want to seat us after calling ahead to see if they could accommodate and told me yes we have no wait. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the hostess. I checked the upstairs and downstairs bars but all the spots were occupied. The hostess sat me at a table and provided a few recommendations. I ordered the chicken and waffle and got a brunch Mimosa (can't beat a $2 brunch mimosa!). I'd give my order a solid 7.5/10. The chicken would probably taste better fresh. The syrup on the waffle was the best part. Vibe wise, the TVs had sports games playing upstairs and downstairs. I want to welcome The Stillery to Goodyear. I'm giving THE STILLERY a five-stars review just because they are coming to the area, and to offset a couple of reviews where a one star or a two stars were given. I think that was unfair, and I'm giving you "one star" for the rating that you gave on this new establishment in the west valley. I'm gonna check out this new West Valley establishment today and hope that my five star rating will be supported with another five star rating. The blueberry smasher drink was made poorly, the hostess was uninviting and rude, and the server did not have much knowledge on food/alcohol service. The queso was very mid and it was expensive. Better off going to other places. I wouldn't ever come here again. read more
