    Old fashion and dirty martini

Food and drinks were amazing. Best dirty martini I've ever had and learned you can have it next door at DBA. Would love to come back and try the snapper. Service was pretty good. It was cute almost dinner vibes. A must in Orlando.

I finally had an opportunity to try the strand and oh boy and am I glad we did! The cocktails were fantastic. I especially loved that the cosmo had a cranberry shrub. I haven't seen a shrub in a while for a cocktail and was very excited about this. We had snapper cakes and the tortellini for an appetizer, I had the red snapper for dinner and my husband enjoyed the burger. The snapper was incredible! For dessert we had butterscotch pudding and it was decadent. Our servers was friendly and personable making the experience impeccable. I can't wait to go back.

Went here for my moms birthday and had a great time. All the food was so good, and fresh. I love that they had an option for whatever mood you're in. I will definitely be returning to try other items off of the menu. Our service was also great.

Five stars if the service would be better. The restaurant focuses on American cuisine with a French hint. Food was great but service was disappointing. Let me first talk about the service. First, when I checked in the receptionist asked me to wait for a while for the bar seating and she would seat me in a few minutes. I felt strange as there were vacant seats, but I did as what she said. I sat outside for ~10min but got no response from here, so I went inside and asked her and now she told me I could sit at the vacant seat... Weird. Then when I ordered the food, I was told that if I want some bread, I had to "order the $11 pan con tomate and the kitchen would take care of it by not putting on the cheese or tomato sauce on it". Ridiculous. It is also strange that an American Michelin restaurant does not offer some (plain) bread for guests. For the food, I got the Caesar salad and Cassoulet. The greens were fresh and the pickled egg, which tasted sour-sweet, was interesting. The duck leg confit was perfectly cooked. The skin was super crispy and the meat had a nice smoky flavor. The petite salad on the side was good as well. But I was expecting more beans and sausage.

I use to live part time in Charleston, South Carolina which sparked my love for food and restaurant artistry. The Strand reminds me a lot of some of the best dining places there. From the attentive and knowledgeable service, comforting and aesthetic decor, clean farm to table ingredients with chefs rotating menu, and delicious southern inspired cooking. Happy to be a regular here as you can try something new each time, and know it's always going to be good.

Went here on Feb 13 for an early Valentine's Day dinner. 8:30pm reservation, great service, and cozy atmosphere. Perfect date night location if you can get in or sit at the bar. Reservations strongly recommended since it is a small space. Food was fresh and delicious. Menu felt thoughtful and hand crafted. We ordered the guava pork belly, baked oysters, steak frites, and the mustard crusted salmon. Loved the house aioli that came with the fries. Really enjoyed everything and we will be back for another special occasion!

We went here this evening as a surprise date night dinner from my fiancé. Would highly recommend getting reservations as I'm glad we did. It was quite packed even for a Tuesday night. With it being a smaller place it still gave off elegance. I had an aperol spritz which was actually quite the pair with the braised beef short ribs - roasted carrot hummus, rapini, demi glace, za'atar). Would return again for another date night!

The Strand is a modern American restaurant with Southern inspiration that is on the Michelin guide and had been on my Yelp bookmarks for several years. Glad I finally made it. The restaurante is an extraterrestrial in the middle of Mills Ave, filled with Asian restaurantes and cafes, and bars. Prices are a little on the high side, but I felt it was fairly priced overall, especially for a restaurant of this caliber that's listed in the Michelin guide. Here's what we ordered: - Pork belly - cooked with a perfect balance of crisp and tender. The pork belly + cabbage + pistachio + tajin was SUPER flavorful, an unexpected combination that I absolutely loved. I would come back here only for this appetizer and a pint of beer. - Octopus entrée - their special for the night, charred just right, and paired with the glaze that surrounded it. - Snapper cakes - tasty, but I wish there had been more fish and less flour. I would've enjoyed more protein in the mix and some burnt edges for contrast. Ps: We didn't have space for dessert. But many people around us were ordering the key lime pie, which looked amazing. Service was great and the bathroom (though only one per gender) was fairly clean.

4.5 Stars The Strand is consistently one of the best restaurants in all of Orlando is a key part of the fabric that makes up the tapestry of Mills. They've been around for over a decade and consistently serve up farm-to-table dishes that are fresh and tasty. The menu changes up regularly and I've always enjoyed every offering. Occasionally, I find the steaks to be a bit bland and have to add salt; but I've honestly enjoyed every dish I've had here. Making reservations is the biggest pro-tip since there's pretty limited seating at dinner.

Service was decent. Waitress was nice. Ambiance was nothing flashy, pretty straight forward, neighborhood diner vibes. Good bright lighting. Kinda loud, if you don't like that, might not be your cup of tea, but to me that's always a good thing in a restaurant, quiet restaurants freak me out. Drinks were ok, got an Old Fashioned. Dinner was ok. Had the Oysters and Guava Pork Belly for apps, our mains were the Strand Burger, Steak Frites, and Braised Beef Short Ribs, (they had sold out of the Duck Confit), and our dessert was the Chocolate olive oil cake. Everything was kinda eh, my Braised Beef Short Rib and the Steak were underseasoned. For the hype behind this place, was a bit dissapointed. But that's just my opinion.

We ate at The Strand with friends and had a really great dinner. For me the salads were the stars. I loved them so much I was very tempted to try to get a reservation for the next night just to have salad! I had the fried fish. The fish was red fish and was very good. My husband had the butternut & burrata and a special which was mushrooms on house made focaccia and a vegetables plate. Our friends had the crispy brussel & apple / kale salad, the oysters on the half shell, the blackened red fish, and something else...I don't remember what it was. Everything was enjoyed and I can't wait to go back there for another delicious meal..

The Strand never misses. I go back time and time again and everything is exceptional. I keep coming back. I recently spent a birthday dinner here and I had all new items. Cheese board (a must) paired with a orange natural wine. Creole barbecue shrimp Guava pork belly Specials included: short rib, and white fish. It was the best meal I've had all year. Service is always A+, and the ambiance for me is so homey and intimate. All around, just everything I love about a place.

A Quiet, small restaurant with food that delivers BIG. I mean look at the photos. From start to finish, everything was 5 stars. Service was great, drinks were phenomenal, and the food was outstanding. I will say, this is one of the best filthy martinis I have had. The pork belly and oysters were a must order. Besides that, I truly will say try this place out. I am so happy I finally tried out this place... I want to go again!!

We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

I checked in when I arrived, and was told I could sit anywhere in the bar for faster service. I first sat in the show kitchen area, thinking that was a food bar. However, after not getting acknowledged, I moved to the main bar. My bartender (who goes by the letter H) greeted me and told me the tequila fix (13 dollars) was a good drink. Indeed it was with an ample amount of tequila, watermelon, and lime. It was quite refreshing and sweet. I took the popular pork chop dish (24 dollars), which was a big chop glazed in brown butter. It was pretty tender and flavorful with the glaze, and the romesco sauce made the flavors even better. It did get a bit gamey at the end, but I still enjoyed it. The vegetable was a generous amount of various colored carrots, which were thick and a bit crunchy. It had to be cut with a knife, but it was delicious, that the equestrian in me had a happy whinny. For dessert, the suggested cheesecake (9 dollars) was a winner as it was moist and fluffy, providing a sweet end. I saved some for home to enjoy the next day. My bartender was friendly and helpful. She was pretty busy, but still had a cheerful and engaging attitude. I also love the vibe as it was social and busy. The music kept the rhythm going, and the dining area is quite open and big. Outdoor dining is available as well. Sixty Vines reminds me of Cooper Hawks, but maybe a bit more upscale and lively. The food and drinks are great and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's a great place to hang out with friends and have some food, wine, and other cocktails. Overall: A

There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.

The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is a solid experience. The staff was great from start to finish and the…read morecraft cocktails were wonderful, definitely worth exploring the menu a bit. The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

We ordered Chicken Satay appetizer ($11.75) three skewers of grilled chicken with peanut sauce to dip into, Chroma Sliders ($16.25) white cheddar, bacon jam and chroma sauce, Chopped Salad ($13.75), and Seared Tuna + Crispy Rice ($20.25). We also shared Bread Pudding with a salted caramel sauce and gelato for dessert and it was incredible. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. These are smaller portions and just enough for the three of us. Service was really good and professional more like what you would expect at finer dining restaurants. The outside patio was nice as there was a breeze and each table had fly prevention fans on the tabletop which was excellent. They have a decent sized menu and they do offer some larger entrees to share which we will have to return to experience. This is a definite recommend and a place we will return to. Beautiful area that this restaurant is located in within the Lake Nona Med Center. Outside the restaurant in the courtyard there were several vendors set up selling things for Mother's Day. This itself was a beautiful area to spend time in. Free parking via garage.
